침지중 콩의 흡수 및 부피변화의 속도론적 연구 (Kinetic Study of Hydrations and Volume Change of Soybeans during Soaking)

  • 우리나라에서 생산되는 장려품종 중 팔달, 단엽, 장백, 백운, 장엽콩과 재래종 중 검정콩(Local 1), 갈색아주까리콩(Local 2)등 7품종을 대상으로 수분흡수특성 및 부피변화에 대하여 조사하였다. 수분흡수의 특성에서 시료 품종 모두 $40^{\circ}C$ 이상으로 온도가 증가하면서 평형에 도달한 무게증가율은 낮아졌으며 초기흡수속도에서는 $60^{\circ}C$까지 증가하다가 그 이상의 온도에서는 큰 차이가 없었다. 수분흡수속도상수는 $4{\sim}60^{\circ}C$의 범위에서 검정콩이 다른 품종들보다 높았으며 갈색아주까리콩은 가장 낮았다. 수분흡수의 활성화에너지는 3,246cal/mole에서 4,694cal/mo1e의 범위였다. 부피증가속도는 장백과 검정콩이 빠른 경향이었고 팔달이 느린 경향을 보였으며 부피증가의 활성화에너지는 3,310 cal/mole에서 4,190 cal/mole의 범위였고 수화도의 온도 의존성(z값)은 무게증가로 계산한 것보다 부피증가로 계산한 값이 다소 높았다.

하수처리장 송풍량 산정에 미치는 영향 인자들의 평가 (The Evaluation of Effect Indicators on Estimation of Aeration Volume for Wastewater Treatment Plants)

  • D하수처리장의 송풍량을 효과적으로 조절하는 시스템을 구축하기 위해 2011년 1월 1일부터 2012년 8월 31일까지 포기조 DO 농도를 평균 2.1 mg/L로 유지하면서 유입유량, 유입농도, 유입부하, 수온, F/M비, 생물반응조의 MLSS 농도 변화에 따른 송풍량 변화를 검토하였다. 그 결과 동일한 DO 농도를 유지하기 위한 송풍량 변화폭은 매우 크며, 송풍량 산정을 결정하는 주요 인자는 수온, F/M비, $BOD_5$ 유입 부하, T-N 유입 부하로 나타났다. 그 중 가장 큰 영향을 주는 지표는 수온으로 수온 $1^{\circ}C$ 증가는 $45.8m^3/h$의 송풍량을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 계절의 영향이 반영된 것으로 사료 된다. 하절기에는 유입 유량증가, 낮은 MLSS농도, F/M비 증가의 영향과, 동절기에는 유입 유량감소, 높은 MLSS농도, F/M비 감소 등의 영향이 송풍량에 반영되어, 수온 변화에 따른 필요 송풍량 변화를 더욱 가중시킨 것으로 사료된다. 따라서 호기조 송풍량 산정 시에는 유입유량, 유입 $BOD_5$농도, 유입 T-N농도 및 생물반응조의 MLSS농도 중 하나의 인자를 이용하는 것보다, 유입부하나 F/M비로 연산하여 접근이 필요한 것으로 사료된다.

  • 본 연구에서는 이러한 해석적 근사해를 이용한 스터링기관의 최적설계조건에 관하여 취급하고자 한다. 단열해석의 결과를 대응하는 등온해석과 비교, 고찰함으로 써 방법에 따른 조건의 차이를 보이고 주요 설계인자의 성능에 미치는 영향을 규명한 다. 또한, 제인자에 따른 기관성능의 변화추이가 편리하게 표시될 수 이씨는 일종의 성능선도(performance map)를 작성하고자 한다.

Adhesive Strength in Tension of High Volume PAE-Modified Cement Mortar with High Flowability for Floor Finishing

  • Various researches on the application of polymer dispersions to the cement mortar and concrete have been carried out in many countries like America, Japan and Germany and so on due to their high performance and good modification effect. PAE of polymer dispersion widely used in situ was employed that the high flowability may be induced in the cement mortar. In order to investigate the modification of cement mortar with high flowability by PAE and fracture mode of adhesive strength properties in tension of that, experimental parameters were set as PAE solid-cement ratio(P/C) and cement: fine aggregate(C:F) and the experiments such as unit weight, flow, consistency change, crack resistance and segregation that inform on the general properties have been done. Adhesion in tension is measured with a view to comprehending the properties and fracture mode in tensile load. Consistency change of cement mortar modified by PAE did grow better as the ratio of PAE solid-cement increased and was much superior to that of resin based flooring such as polyurethane and epoxy which recorded the loss of consistency in 90 min. after mixing. Adhesive strength in tension increased with continuity during curing period and showed the maximum in case of C:F=1:1 and P/C=20%.

3차원 레이더 반사도를 이용한 대류세포 판별과 추적 알고리즘의 개발 (Development of Convective Cell Identification and Tracking Algorithm using 3-Dimensional Radar Reflectivity Fields)

  • This paper presents the development of new algorithm for identifying and tracking the convective cells in three dimensional reflectivity fields in Cartesian coordinates. First, the radar volume data in spherical coordinate system has been converted into Cartesian coordinate system by the bilinear interpolation. The three-dimensional convective cell has then been identified as a group of spatially consecutive grid points using reflectivity and volume thresholds. The tracking algorithm utilizes a fuzzy logic with four membership functions and their weights. The four fuzzy parameters of speed, area change ratio, reflectivity change ratio, and axis transformation ratio have been newly defined. In order to make their membership functions, the normalized frequency distributions are calculated using the pairs of manually matched cells in the consecutive radar reflectivity fields. The algorithms have been verified for two convective events in summer season. Results show that the algorithms have properly identified storm cells and tracked the same cells successively. The developed algorithms may provide useful short-term forecasting or nowcasting capability of convective storm cells and provide the statistical characteristics of severe weather.

The verification about possibility of introducing Window to Floor Ratio as design index for building energy performance

  • Purpose: Many design index that are using in planning phase have been developed. The most popular things among them are Window to Wall Ratio and Surface to Volume Ratio. However there are some limits. Window to Wall Ratio cannot consider building size and Surface to Volume Ratio cannot do Window to Wall Ratio. Accordingly, in this paper, the Window to Floor Ratio was proposed that it can be considered both building size and Window to Wall Ratio. And analyzed correlation of energy demand. Method: For the test, 16 modules with the size of $6m{\times}6m{\times}4m$ were used to make 35 models with the same volume. The simulation was conducted to 945 cases using the window-to-wall ratio of 30, 50 and 70 % in three areas such as Seoul, Gwangju and Jeju and three kinds of windows. And IES_VE was used. Result: The findings above show that the Window to Floor Ratio that can be considered both building size and Window area have to become as design index. It was found out that design criteria with SHGC is necessary, not with the thermal performance (U-value). It is needed to additional analysis about residential building and the effect of 24-hours heating and cooling condition. It plans to carry out research to establish design indicators for climatic conditions in the country and building applications.

  • To investigate the evolution of deformation texture during cold rolling deformation, cold rolling process on a commercial Al-5% Mg sheet was carried out at different rolling reduction ratio. The evolution of annealing texture in cold-rolled Al-5% Mg sheet was also investigated. The evolution of recrystallization texture during annealing process strongly depends on the rolling reduction ratio before heat treatment. Visco-plastic self-consistent (VPSC) polycrystal model was used to predict r-value anisotropy of the cold-rolled and annealed Al-5% Mg sheets. The change of volume fraction for the major texture components was also analyzed.

울산단층 동부지역 제4기단층 비지대의 체적변화와 유체-암석비에 대한 고찰 (Estimation of Volume Change and Fluid-Rock Ratio of Gouges in Quaternary Faults, the Eastern Blocks of the Ulsan Fault, Korea)

  • 울산단층 동부지역에는 제4기로 추정되는 미고결 퇴적층을 절단하며 파쇄대 와 단층비지를 수반하는 제4기 단층이 여러 곳에서 발견되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 제4기 단층비지대의 성분변화, 체적변화, 실리카의 손실 그리고 유체-암석비를 XRF, XRD, EPMA를 이용하여 계산하였다. 단층비지의 성분변화는 모암에 비해 단층비지대에서 $SiO_2,\;K_2O,\;Na_2O$는 감소하고, $Al_2O_3,\;MgO,\;P_2O_5,\;Fe_2O_3,\;MnO,\;CaO,\;LOI$는 증가한다. 단층별 체적감소는 개곡 제1단층 $56\%$, 개곡 제2단층 $22\%$, 신계단층 $34\%$, 마동단층 $8\%$, 원원사단층 $2\%$, 진현단층 $53\%$이다. 체적감소, 실리카 손실, 유체-암석비가 낮게 나타난 마동단층과 원원사단층 비지대는 유체활동에 대하여 닫힌계 이 고, 체적감소, 실리카 손실, 유체-암석비가 높은 개곡 제1단층과 진현단층의 비지대는 유체 활동의 통로로 작용한 열린계였을 것으로 볼 수 있다. 단층의 유체-암석 체적비는 모든 단층에서 $10^2\sim10^4$로 나타나지만 기질의 함량이 각각 $88\%$$77\%$로 높고 체적감소가 큰 개곡 제1단층과 진현단층에서 가장 높게 나타난다. 따라서 이들 단층에서 유체의 활동이 가장 활발하였다.

The effect of Volume Expansion on the Propagation of Wrinkled Laminar Premixed Flame

  • Under certain circumstance, premixed turbulent flame can be treated as wrinkled thin laminar flame and its motion in a hydrodynamic flow field has been investigated by employing G-equation. Past studies on G-equation successfully described certain aspects of laminar flame propagation such as effects of stretch on flame speed. In those studies, flames were regarded as a passive interface that does not influence the flow field. The experimental evidences, however, indicate that flow field can be significantly modified by the propagation of flames through the volume expansion of burned gas. In the present study, a new method to be used with G -equation is described to include the effect of volume expansion in the flame dynamics. The effect of volume expansion on the flow field is approximated by Biot-Savart law. The newly developed model is validated by comparison with existing analytical solutions of G -equation to predict flames propagating in hydrodynamic flow field without volume expansion. To further investigate the influence of volume expansion, present method was applied to initially wrinkled or planar flame propagating in an imposed velocity field and the average flame speed was evaluated from the ratio of flame surface area and projected area of unburned stream channel. It was observed that the initial wrinkling of flame cannot sustain itself without velocity disturbance and wrinkled structure decays into planar flame as the flame propagates. The rate of decay of the structure increased with volume expansion. The asymptotic change in the average burning speed occurs only with disturbed velocity field. Because volume expansion acts directly on the velocity field, the average burning speed is affected at all time when its effect is included. With relatively small temperature ratio of 3, the average flame speed increased 10%. The combined effect of volume expansion and flame stretch is also considered and the result implied that the effect of stretch is independent of volume release.

  • Apparel goods are classified by many criteria for ease of merchandising implementation. Fashion and basic goods are also an oucome oi classification. Previous studies pnvide some criteria by which apparel products can be classified into fushion and basic goods. Among those ciiteria, seasonality, fashionability, clothing types, complexity in pnduction, simplicity of style, pioducuon volume, degree of style change by season, could be listed. This study, first explored how apparel merchandisers and designers define fashion and basic goods in relation with those criteria. Definitions of fashion and basic goods were explored in terms of design elements (i.e., style, color, material), production volume, sales ratio, proportion in product assortment, and contribution to profit. The study adopted a qualitative approach by use of eighteen infepth interviews with menhandisers and designers. Six were from women's wear brand, Seven from men's wear brand, and 5 from casual wear brand. All the interviewees agreed that they are using the classification of basic vs. fashion goods. However, they are using diverse terms to indicate the basic and fashion goods. The interviewees defined each group based on its contribution to total sales or profit complexity in design, production volume, and style change by season. Basic goods had a higher level of production quantity, contribute more to profit simpler design, and less style change by season than fashion goods.
