A 9-year-old girl visited our hospital, complaining of a rapid-growing and rigid swelling on the left posterior mandibular area. Panoramic radiograph showed a moderately defined multilocular honeycomb appearance involving the left mandibular body. CT scan revealed an expansile, multilocular osteolytic lesion and multiple fluid levels within cystic spaces. Bone scan demonstrated increased radiotracer uptake and angiography showed a highly vascularized lesion. The lesion was suspected as aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) and preoperative embolization was performed, which minimize the extent of operation and the surgical complication. The lesion was treated by surgical curettage and lateral decortication with repositioning. No additional treatment such as a surgical reconstruction or bone graft was needed. Early diagnosis of ABC is very important and appropriate treatment should be performed considering several factors such as age, surgical complication, and possibility of recurrence.

Initially described in 1929, Warthin's tumor is a benign neoplasm predominantly found in the parotid gland of the salivary glands. Warthin's tumor is synonymous for cystadenoma lymphomatosum, adenolymphoma, and cystadenolymphoma. This tumor usually causes minimal pain, but the patient may complain of tinnitus, pain in the ear, or deafness. The tumor is treated with surgical excision, which is easily performed due to the superficial location of the tumor. In our case, a 69-year-old man visited our clinic primarily complaining of swelling in the left parotid gland area. Computed tomography revealed well-defined margins of the tumor in the superficial lobe of the left parotid gland and heterogeneous contrast enhancement. We performed superficial parotidectomy, with the pathological examination confirming Warthin's tumor. We report a typical case of Warthin's tumor and a literature review.

The Ms 7.7 earthquake of Gujarat, India occured early in the morning of January 26, 2001. Subsequent of the earthquake, as a Seismologist at Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources(KIGAM), I have been visited epicentral area here reporting the impressions and initial observations collected during the period of Feb. 07 to 13. The trace of surface faulting was not founded. However the mechanism of the earthquake suggests the indenting Indian plate to the Eurasian plate was the tectonic background of this earthquake. Large casualties compare with the magnitude and focal depth of the event, seems due to the poor construction of the typical ordinary Indian housing structure. The wall and roof of the house are very thick to avoid high temperature of the epicentral region.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of consumption experience on customer satisfaction and customer happiness for dessert cafe. The survey was conducted with those who have visited dessert cafes in Seoul and Kyonggi area, using a convenience sampling method. After a total of 200 responses was collected, 172 responses were included for the multiple regression analyses in order to test the hypotheses. The results are as follows. First, it was found that consumption experience did not have an effect on customer satisfaction for dessert cafes. Second, the consumption experience (diversity, symbolism, sociality, and playfulness) of dessert cafe significantly impacted customer happiness. As a conclusion, consumption experience at dessert cafes has increased customer happiness by improving the psychological gratification rather than cognitive satisfaction.

A 45-year-old female visited our clinic due to sudden right leg weakness and sensory loss. Brain and spinal cord magnetic resonance imaging showed widespread cavernous malformations. Cavernous malformation in L1 spine area was accompanied by a subacute stage hematoma with perilesional edema. Sensory loss subsided after corticosteroid therapy. Usually, neurologic deficit by spinal cavernous malformation appears more chronically in the adults compared to children. Treatment options are difficult to establish in a case with multiple cavernous malformations. Identifying hemorrhagic lesions by extensive neuroimaging evaluation could be helpful to select the treatment target for cavernous malformation.

The patient, 19 years old male, visited with complaints of trismus and consults for construction of denture. 4 years ago, he received /sup 60/Coteletherapy of left laryngeal area for treatment of throat tumor. Clinical apperance showed rampant dental caries, multiple root rests, xerostomia, disturbance of mandibular growth and asymmetry of face. Roentgenographic examination disclosed deep cervical caries, destruction of alveolar crest, punched out bone destruction of mandible and maxilla.

Fifty-six species in 36 genera of macrolichens are reported from the Zhongdian area, northwest Yunnan, China during the lichenological expedition for highland macrolichen survey in June, 2004. More than $60\%$ of these species have not been reported in South Korea. All of the 182 collected specimens are deposited in the Korean Lichen Research Institute (KoLRI) at Sunchon National University in Korea, and some of them are duplicated in the lichen herbarium, Cry to gamic Herbarium, Kunming Institute of Botany, Academia Sinica (KUN-L) in China. This is the first report on the macrolichen flora in the visited areas.

This paper is a result of a case study about landslides at Whacheon area in Kangwondo occurred during heavy rainfall in 2006. A-day-accumulative rainfalls from July 12 to July 13 and July 15 to July 16 were 120mm and 110mm respectively. Five sites at which slope failures occurred were visited to figure out main causes of slope failures by investigating characteristics of rainfall, geological formation, topography and ground surface exploration around the boundary of the landslides. Based on the site investigation characteristics of landslide with respect to rainfall pattern, geological and topographical condition and pattern of landslide were evaluated.

Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNSTs) are very rare sarcomas derived from various cells in the peripheral nerve sheath. Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors have a known association with neurofibromatosis type 1. Diagnosis of MPNSTs is difficult in patients with chronic pain, when MPNST occurs at an overlapping area of chronic pain. Therefore, the diagnosis can be missed unless clinicians pay attention to the possibility of this disease. Here in, we report a case of concurrent malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor with complex regional pain syndrome type 1. A 44-year female patient, who was diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) type 1 in her left ankle, visited our clinic because of aggravated pain. The cause of the aggravated pain was revealed as concurrent MPNST in the left common peroneal nerve territory, which overlapped the site of pain from CRPS.

In order to know the prevalence of head louse among the school children in rural area, we visited 3 primary schools and a kindergarten in Sanbuk-myon, Mungyong-gun, Kyongsangbuk-do in July 1985, and examined the children to identify the adult worms of head louse and/or its nits on the hair. The overall infestation rate was 91.9% among 420 children examined, and there was a difference between schools (P<0.05). The school girls' rate, 96.1% was higher than that of boys' 88.9%(P<0.05). By grade, the rate of infant school was 88.5% and 1st to 6th grade were 100, 100, 95.8, 90.4, 89.7, 80.0% respectively. Above result indicates that the head louse is an important health problem in this community. Therefore, the chemotherapy and the effort to improve the hygiene are necessary in this community by physicians, teachers and health administrators.
