현미의 방사선 처리여부 판별을 위한 점도측정법의 검증 (Verification of Viscosity Measurement for Identifying Irradiated Brown Rice)

  • 국산 및 중국산 현미를 대상으로 방사선 조사여부 판별방법의 하나인 점도측정법 검증을 위하여 0-15 kGy 범위의 감마선을 조사하고 점도, 전분함량 및 specific parameter 측정에 의한 미지시료의 조사여부 판별을 시도하였다. 현미의 전분함량은 국산과 중국산 각각 71.52와 64.58%이었고, 국산 현미가 중국산 보다 상대적으로 높은 점도를 나타내었다. 방사선 조사된 국산 및 중국산 현미의 조사선량에 따른 점도 및 specific parameter는 유의적으로 감소하였으며, 전단속도(50, 150, 300 rpm)에 영향을 받아 낮은 속도에서 조사선량의 영향이 크게 나타났다. 점도와 specific parameter의 변화에 대한 조사선량의 상관성을 나타낸 결정계수($R^2$)는 국산 현미는 0.9423-0.9567, 중국산 현미는 0.9119-0.9387을 보였다. 또한 상기 점도측정법에 의한 미지시료(n=30)의 조사여부 판별시험에서는 90%의 정확도를 보였다. 이로써 전분질 식품의 방사선 조사여부 확인에서 점도측정법은 screening 방법의 하나로써 보조적 역할의 가능성을 보여주었다.

혈액점도 측정용 평행판 점도계 (A parallel plate viscometer for blood viscosity measurement)

  • 혈액의 점도가 높아질수록 혈액은 더 끈적하고 흐름이 어려워지므로 혈전의 발생 가능성이 높아져 허혈성 뇌경색의 발생 확률이 증가한다. 혈액 점도 측정은 최근 순환기계 질환의 예방을 위하여 그 중요성이 강조되고 있으며 혈액의 점도를 쉽고 정확하게 측정할 수 있는 점도계의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 평행판 점도계 ARS-Medi에 의한 점도표준액과 인공혈액의 측정값들을 국제적으로 정확성과 신뢰성을 인정받는 TA instrument의 Ares-G2로 측정한 값들과 비교하였다.. 뉴턴성 용액인 N44 표준용액의 점도는 모든 전단율에서 두 기기 간에 거의 완벽하게 일치하였다, 비뉴턴성 용액인 인공혈액의 경우 가장 낮은 전단율인 1 rad/s 에서는 약 10%의 차이를 보였으나, 임상적으로 유의한 전단율인 10 rad/s 이상에서는 두 기기간의 측정값이 오차범위 내에서 모두 일치하였다. 우리는 새로 개발한 혈액 전용 평행판형 점도계 ARS-Medi가 1회용 평행판을 사용하므로 혈액 점도 측정의 편의성과 위생성이 향상되어 임상에 매우 유용할 것으로 기대한다.

글리콜을 용매로 제조한 연고형 불투명 도재의 물성 (Manufacture of paste opaque porcelains using glycols as a solvent and evaluation of their physical properties)

  • In this research, we manufactured the paste opaque porcelains using Propylene Glycol (PG) and Buthylene Glycol (BG) as a solvent, and compared the composition of solvents, the coefficient of thermal expansion, the particle size distribution, the viscosity and bonding strength to metal, and the tone with those of the commercial products(Duceram Plus, Duceram GmbH; VMK 95, Vita Co.; Noritake EX-3, Noritake Co.)used in the clinical field. The results of the research were as follows: 1. The result of solvent analysis indicated that the solvents included in the paste opaque porcelains of the control group were mainly composed of Glycols. 2. From the Coefficient of thermal expansion measurement, we drew out the following results; testing group: $14.0\times10^{-6}/^{\circ}C$, Duceram Plus: $13.9\times10^{-6}/^{\circ}C$, VMK 95: $14.3\times10^{-6}/^{\circ}C$, and Noritake EX-3: $13.3\times10^{-6}/^{\circ}C$. 3. Seen from the result of particle size distribution measurement, the experimental group was similar to the control group in 1$\mu m$ below, but the experimental group marked the highest distribution of 61% in the case of between 1$\mu m$ and 5$\mu m$. Between 5$\mu m$ and 10$\mu m$, they showed relatively similar distribution, and Noritake EX-3 was turned out the highest distribution of 29% in 10$\mu m$ above. 4. From the result of viscosity measurement, Duceram plus showed the highest viscosity throughout all the measurements followed by Noritake Ex-3, experimental group and VMK 95 in decreasing order. 5. The result of bonding strength measurement was EX 35.53 $\beta\acute{A}$, DU 40.88 $\beta\acute{A}$, VM 39.43 $\beta\acute{A}$, and NO 35.39 $\beta\acute{A}$, and no significant difference was found between the experimental group and the control groups(P>0.05). 6. The measurement of the tone indicated that the $L^*$ value of the experimental group was 86.89 0.63 in average, which is higher than the control group in its brightness. In the case of the $a^*$ value, Duceram Plus, VMK 95 and EX-3 showed positive value, whereas the testing group was turned out negative value. In $b^*$ value, Duceram Plus proved the highest. From the results of this research, the paste opaque porcelains using Propylene Glycol (PG) and Buthylene Glycol (BG) as a solvent did not make differences from the commercial products that are actually used in the clinical fields. Therefore, it is possible to utilize Propylene Glycol (PG) and Buthylene Glycol (BG) for the paste opaque porcelains of P.F.M crown. It is also recommended that further researches concerning the compositions and forms of powder, the types of organic solvent components and the ratio of mixture proceeded in order to improve the level of productivity in the future.

유색보리 분말을 첨가한 식빵의 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics of Pan Bread Added with Color Barley Powder)

  • 본 연구에서는 기능성 물질이 함유된 유색보리와 유색보리 분말을 첨가한 식빵 반죽 및 식빵을 제조하여 이화학적, 관능적 특성을 첨가량을 달리하여 측정하였다. 유색보리 분말의 수분함량은 9.35%, 조단백은 9.37%, 조지방은 1.64%, 조회분은 2.96%로 나타났다. 수용성 식이섬유 함량은 3.21 g/100 g, 불용성 식이섬유 함량은 4.91 g/100 g, 총 식이섬유 함량은 8.12 g/100 g으로 나타났고, ${\beta}$-glucan 함량은 49.31 mg/g으로 나타났다. DPPH radical 소거능은 56.76%로 나타났고, 총 페놀 함량은 234.34 mg/100g으로 나타났다. 유색보리 분말을 첨가한 식빵 반죽의 farinograph 측정 결과 consistency, water absorption, development time, time breakdown은 첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하였고, tolerance index는 첨가량이 증가할수록 증가하였다. Alveogram 측정 결과 overpressure P값, extensibility L값, swelling index G값, deformation energy W값은 첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하였다. Amylograph 측정 결과 pasting temp. T값은 첨가량이 증가할수록 증가하였고, peak viscosity P값, hot past viscosity H값, breakdown P-H값은 첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하였다. 유색보리 분말을 첨가한 식빵의 굽기 손실률, 비용적은 첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하였다. 색도 L값, b값은 첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하였고, a값은 첨가량이 증가할수록 증가하였다. 유색보리 분말 첨가한 식빵의 texture 경도, 점착성은 첨가량이 증가할수록 증가하였고, 응집성, 탄력성, 씹힘성은 첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하였다. 기호도는 맛, 부드러움, 씹힘성은 10% 첨가군이 높게 나타났고, 전반적인 기호도도 10% 첨가군이 5.04로 가장 높게 나타났다.

포틀랜드 시멘트 페이스트 및 몰탈의 물성에 미치는 글루콘산 나트륨의 영향 (Influences of Sodium Gluconate on the Physical Properties of Portland Cement Pastes and Mortars)

  • The changes of physical properties of portland cement pastes and mortars were investigated by addition of sodium gluconate. Flow table experiment and viscosity measurement were took in order to find dispersing effect, and time-dependent changesof viscosity and rates of hydration heat evolution were carried out for the sake of finding retardation effect of hydration. And changes of physical properties of cement pastes and mortars were discussed by setting time, compressive strength and porosity.

미립잠열슬러리의 유체역학적 특성연구 (Fluid dynamical characteristics of microencapsulated phase change material slurries)

  • An experimental study was peformed to measure the viscosity of microencapsulated PCM slurries as the functions of its concentration and temperature, and also influence to its fluid dynamics. For the viscosity measurement, a rotary type viscometer, which was equipped with temperature control system, was adopted. The slurry was mixed with water and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate as a surfactant by which its suspended particles were dispersed well without the segregation of particles during the experiment. The viscosity was increased as the concentration of MicroPCM particle added. The surfactant increased 5% of the viscosity over the working fluid without particles. Experiments were proceeded by changing parameters such as PCM particles'concentration as well as the temperature of working fluid. As a result, a model to the functions of temperature for the working fluid and its particle concentration is proposed. The proposed model, for which its standard deviation shows 0.8068, is agreed well with the reference's data. The pressure drop was measured by U-tube manometer, and then the friction factor was obtained. It was noted that the pressure drop was not influenced by the state of PCM phase, that is solid or liquid in its core materials at their same concentration. On the other hand, it was described that the pressure drop of the slurry was much increased over the working fluid without particles. A friction factor was placed on a straight line in all working fluids of the laminar flow regardless of existing particles as we expected.

Seed 중합을 이용한 고고형분 수용성 점착제의 합성과 물성 (Property and Polymerization of Hi-solid PSA's using Seeded Polymerization)

  • 고 고형분 점착제의 점도 개선을 위해 seed 중합을 이용하여 수용성 저점도 점착제를 중합하였다. Seed 바인더 중합 중 최적 중합 조건을 산출하고, 점착제 중합 시 seed 바인더와 acrylic acid의 함량을 변화시켜 점도변화와 피착면에 대한 점착박리강도를 측정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 점착제 중합에서 seed 바인더의 함량이 7 wt%/monomer일 때 60%의 고형분에서 2,100 cps의 낮은 점도를 나타내고 평활한 점착제 필름을 제조할 수 있었다. Acrylic acid함량 변화에 따른 기계적 물성 측정에서는 4 wt%/monomer의 acrylic acid를 사용 했을 때 우수한 점착박리강도와 유지력을 나타내었다.

자색 고구마 분말 첨가 생면의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Wet Noodles Added with Purple Sweet Potato Powder)

  • This research investigated the quality characteristics and anthocyanin content of wet noodles according to the amount of freeze-dried purple sweet potato powder. For viscosity, initial pasting temperature tended to increase compared to the control group, whereas peak viscosity, peak viscosity time and final viscosity steadily decreased. As the amount of purple sweet potato powder increased, breakdown value of viscosity and set back value significantly decreased. For chromaticity, as the amount of purple sweet potato powder increased, L-value decreased gradually, whereas a-value gradually increased and b-value significantly decreased compared to the control group. Anthocyanin content significantly increased in the addidtive group (91.79) compared to the control group (70.20). Measurement of texture characteristics found that hardness was highest in the control group, but it decreased as the amount of purple sweet potato powder increased. Springiness, gumminess and chewiness were highest in the control group. In the sensory evaluation, color, odor, chewiness, and overall acceptance were high in the 6% addictive group. In this study, by investigating the anthocyanin contents, quality characteristics and sensory attributes of wet noodles with freeze-dried purple sweet potato powder, we found that the 6% additive group is the best. Our results provide basic information for the development of noodles with purple sweet potato powder.

  • Most studies of elsatohydrodynamic lubrication are oriented only to the measurement of film thickness itself with optical interferometer. In order to exactly investigate the characteristics of a certain lubricant, it is also important to get the information of traction force as well. In this work, we developed the device for measuring friction force of ehl contact condition together with the film thickness. To verify the validity of the measuring system, the friction force and film thickness under ehl condition are measured with the variation of additive ratios of viscosity index Improvers.

운전조건변화에 따른 피스톤-링 결합체 마찰특성 (Friction Characteristics of the Piston-Ring Assembly Varying Engine Operation Coditions)

  • It is important to understand the friction characteristics between piston-ring assembly and cylinder wall for the friction loss reduction as well as the solution of problem such as scuffing wear and oil consumption. A new system was developed for the piston-ring assembly friction force measurement. This system was applied to the friction force measurement to find its functional relationship with variables such as engine speed, oil viscosity, and engine load. The friction mean effective pressure(fmep) was found to have a linear relationship with$(\vpsilon{U})^{0.42}$ under motering and with$(\vpsilon{U})^{0.45}$ under firing operations, where $\vpsilon$ is the kinematic oil viscosity and U is mean piston speed.
