  • 본 논문에서는 MPEG-2 프로그램 스트림(Program Stream)을 위한 A/V(Audio/Video) 편집기를 제안하고 구현하였다. 이 편집기에서는 사용자가 일반 문서를 편집하듯이 간단한 조작만으로 스트림(Stream)을 복사(Copy), 자름(Cut), 삭제(Delete), 붙이기(Paste)가 가능하며, 또한 스트림 내에서 임의로 조합하여 새로운 스트림을 생성할 수 있는 조합기능도 제공된다. 기존 편집기의 복잡성을 감소시키고 사용자가 접근하기 쉽도록 제작되었으며, 계산량을 현저히 줄임으로써 보다 향상된 성능을 제공할 수 있다.

Effects of Massage and Attachment Promotion Program on Social Maturity, Child Autism and Attachment of Children with Autism and Their Mothers

  • Purpose: The aims of this study were to evaluate effects of massage therapy and the attachment promotion program with autistic children. Method: A quasi-experimental design was conducted with a convenience sample of 44 autistic children. The experimental group (n= 23) attended the massage therapy and the attachment promotion program for 4 months. The control group (n=21) only had the attachment promotion program. Measurements were made twice for both groups using the social maturity scale and child autism rating scale. Recording of mother-child attachment was done for 15 minutes in only the experimental group twice using video equipment. Results: After 4 months of interventions, there was significant difference on social maturity (F=9.01, p=.005) between the groups. However, there was no significant difference on CARS ((F=2.47, p=.124). The total scores of mother-child attachment between pre- and post-interventions showed a significant difference (Z=-3.42, p=.001). Conclusion: The results showed that massage therapy and the attachment promotion program might be an effective way for providing a chance to increase social maturation and to increase attachment between mother and autistic child.

The Effect of School Based Smoking Prevention Program for College Freshmen (대학 새내기를 위한 흡연예방 교육의 효과)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of a school based smoking prevention program for college freshmen. Method: The nonequivalent control group, pretest-post-test design was used. Among 16 departments in a University located in S city, students in 8, randomly selected, departments received 6 sessions of smoking prevention program consisted of small group discussion led by smoking cessation leaders, video watching, and lectures from March 15 to June 9, 2004. Students in remaining 8 departments did not receive any education. Student's attitude, intention, stress, temptation, knowledge and self efficacy was measured. Result: The level of stress and smoking temptation was significantly decreased in the experimental group over that of the control group. Conclusion: It was proven that this school based smoking prevention program was effective for decreasing smoking temptation in college freshmen. In the future, more efforts should be given to college age students to prevent them becoming chronic smokers.

  • Due to the development of information telecommunication technology, e-learning industry is rapidly expanding its scope along with its production technology. The recent trend of e-learning program is likely converted from Wmv(Window Media Video) of Microsoft to Flv(Flash video), which has less capacity but better quality than other image file. It has successfully drawn the users attention since Flv can operate at most OS environments and browsers let alone with window and Lenux without extra players and codec setup. However, there is no accurate data on comparative analysis between Wmv and Flv regarding capacity, quality and production time. Therefore, the study shows the comparative data analysis on Wmv and Flv so as to set out production platform up to its idiosyncrasy.

Effectiveness of Video-Record Method on Fundamental Nursing Skill Education - Focused on Enama - (기본간호 실습교육에 있어서 비디오녹화학습의 효과 -배변술을 중심으로-)

  • Effectiveness of the video-record learning method in teaching bowel elimination nursing skill was investigated using an experimental research methodology. Data was collected from 63 female students attending Fundamental Nursing class from a nursing college in Seoul. The subjects were randomly assigned to two groups, one is the experimental group of 29 and the other the control group of 34. The independent variable was video-record learning method and the dependent variable were the degree of knowledge achivement, nursing skill achivement, competence on practicing elimination skill, and satisfaction about the learning method. The hypotheses of the study were as following. 1) There will be significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in dependent variables. 2) There will be significant positive correlations between nursing skill achievement and other three dependent variables-interest in nursing, adaptation in nursing, and preference of nursing job. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient with SPSS $PC^+$ program. Findings of the study are : 1) There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in knowledge achievement using P<.05. 2) There was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in nursing skill achievement using P<.05. 3) There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in competence on practicing elimination skill using P<.05. 4) There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in satisfaction about learning method using P<.05. 5) There was positive correlation between nursing skill achievement and the other variables but no significant difference was shown. 6) This study suggests that video-record learning method is an effective learning method for achiving basic nursing skills but is not effective in other areas such as knowledge achivement, competence in performing nursing practice, and satis-faction about the learning method. Further study with more developed research design and statistical analysis should be done to investigate the effectivenes of video-record learning method in learning basic nursing skill more accurately.

Efficient H.264/AVC Video Scrambling Methods for Digital Rights Management (디지털 저작권 관리를 위한 효율적인 H.264/AVC 비디오 스크램블링 방법)

  • This paper describes efficient H.264/AVC video scrambling methods for digital rights management. The proposed scrambling methods are to scramble level and suffix in entropy encoding and MVD in motion estimation of the H.264 video compression process. Other scrambling methods have been proposed but they degrade the compression efficiency or make it difficult to achieve real-time processing due to the large amount of computational efforts. Since the proposed scrambling methods resolve the drawbacks of other approaches, they do not cause image distortion and the original compression efficiency is maintained. We verified our scrambling methods and evaluated the performance by conducting several experiments with H.264 reference program. Finally, we implemented video player system using USB dongle in order to apply the proposed scrambling/descrambling methods to H.264 video compression.

Development of a Web-based Sexual Health Program for Women Undergoing Treatment for Gynecologic Cancer and Their Partners (부인암 여성과 배우자를 위한 웹 기반 성 건강 프로그램 개발)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a web-based sexual health program for women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer and their partners, and to evaluate the validity of the developed program. Methods: A web-based sexual health program was developed and evaluated: analysis (needs assessment on 23 patients and content analysis through literature review and web search), design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Results: The web-based sexual health program for women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer and their partners was structured with sexual life, sexual response cycle, change of sexual function, sexual dysfunction related to treatment, and useful method for sexual dysfunction. This program included a video to improve for understanding and a bulletin board to promote bi-directional interactions between program users and providers. Experts and users rated this program in terms of efficacy, convenience, design, relevance, and usefulness. This program contents were found appropriate and satisfactory to both experts and users. Conclusion: This web-based sexual health program for women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancer and their partners would contribute to sexual health promotion for gynecologic cancer women and their partners.

Development and Evaluation of a Web-based Education Program for Nursing Students on Control of Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus Infection (간호학생을 위한 웹기반 VRE 감염관리 교육프로그램의 개발 및 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a web-based education program on control vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE) infections and to identify the effects of the program on knowledge and performance of nursing students. Methods: The web-based VRE infection control education program was developed by using the network-based instructional systems design model. The nursing students in the experimental group could access this web-based education program at any time, and as many times as they wanted, during the clinical training period. Effects were evaluated by assessing knowledge and performance of VRE infection control measures during the clinical training period. Results: The contents of the education program included diagnosis, transmission, and treatment of VRE, contact precautions, hand washing, personal protective equipment, environment management, and quizzes. The lecture portion was filmed in a virtual screen studio using flash animation, video, and sound effects, and it was uploaded on an internet site. The knowledge and performance scores of the experimental group after using the education program were significantly higher than those of the control group. Conclusion: The results suggest that the web-based VRE infection control education program is an effective educational method to enhance knowledge and performance of VRE infection control measures.

A Study on the Operation Plans for Seongnam Public Library Programs in the Post-COVID-19 Era (포스트 코로나 시대 성남시 도서관의 문화프로그램 운영 방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest operation plans for library programs in preparation for the post-COVID-19 by analyzing the current status of library programs before and after the outbreak of COVID-19 based on the data of the Seongnam public libraries on the Public Data Portal. So, based on 1,317 data collected through the data purification process for duplicates and errors in the files uploaded by Seongnam City, ①programs' subject & type, ②program target users, ③program operation types(online or offline), ④program operating time & number of days, ⑤characteristics of programs preferred by users etc. were analyzed. As results of the analysis, online programs were not operated at all before COVID-19, but online programs started to be operated in earnest after August 2020. Also, there were many experiential activity lectures for infants and elementary school students in 2019, but reading activity lectures for adults and elementary school students increased in 2020. There were many types of online lectures, such as real-time lectures using online video conferencing programs, YouTube video viewing & live broadcasting, and the use of Naver Band & Cafe.

Effects of Self Reflective Practice using Cellular Phone Video Recordings on Self-Confidence in Performance, Practice Satisfaction, Learning Self-efficacy and Core Basic Nursing Skills Achievement among Nursing Students (스마트폰 동영상을 활용한 자기성찰 실습이 간호학생의 핵심 간호술 수행자신감, 실습만족도, 학업적 자기효능감 및 성취도에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of self reflective practice using cellular phone video recordings on self-confidence in performance, practice satisfaction, learning self-efficacy and core basic nursing skills achievement. A quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group posttest design was used. Participants were recruited from one nursing colleges. The sample consisted of an experimental group (n=43) that participated in the self reflective practice using cellular phone video recordings program and a control group (n=43). The data of self-confidence in performance, practice satisfaction, and learning self-efficacy were collected using self-administered questionnaires from March 2, 2018 to May 30. The core basic nursing skills achievement was evaluated by two researchers. Data analyzed using ${\chi}^2$-test and independent t-test. After the intervention, self-confidence in performance, learning self-efficacy and core basic nursing skills achievement significantly increased in the experimental group compared with the control group. Findings indicated that, this program can be recommended as an effective educational program for the nursing student to improve their fundamental nursing skills.
