A Study on Environmental Vibration generated from Machines (주요 기계류에서 발생되는 환경진동에 관한 연구)

  • This study was performed to investigate vibration generated from machines that were used at factories and construction works. Vibrations were measured at three points in a straight line based on distance from the vibration sources, and analyzed to assess the vibration bevels. The average vibration level of factory machines was 65.4dBV at 2m, and that of construction machines was 74.0dBV at 5m. Vibration attenuations was 4.0~8.2dBV by double distance. All such data were applied to gain coefficients of attenuation equations for predicting vibration level by distance from the vibration sources. Data recorded on tapes were analyzed to understand the characteristics of frequency because these characteristics are important factors to design a Plan for installing the vibration-Proof devices. Finally, considering results from these analysis, assessment, and prediction, the methods for reducing vibration generated from machines were discussed.

  • The satellite electronic equipment is exposed to high level random vibration environment during the launch of spacecraft. The random vibration can cause damage of electronic equipment. Thus very careful consideration on the launch environment, especially for high level random vibration, is required in the design stage of transponder equipments of communication satellite. For the structural integrity of the communication satellite transponder equipment under qualification level random vibration, Finite Element analysis was carried out using the commercial code, MSC/Nastran and ANSYS and stress levels are presented. In order to validate the femodel, modal test was also performed and compared with numerical results.

  • A solution procedure of vibration and radiated noise of the plate covered with damping material has been studied. To predict the vibration level and the radiated noise level of the plate covered with damping material, FEM and BEM have been utilized, respectively. A property of damping material has been measured by using a composite beam. Two different kinds of measuring procedure for the composite beam have been introduced by comparing its characteristics. The numerical prediction of vibration level of the Plate covered with damping material has been proved with experimental data.

  • This study reviews several of the procedures that have been used to predict ground-born vibration. The vibration responses are measured at three sites that have different soil qualities. The measured vibration levels are compared with the predicted results by previously used vibration level prediction models. In this study a numerical method, which is based on explicit differential method, is used to compensate tot existing prediction models. Although numerically computed results are not quantitatively in good agreement with the measured results, the trends are comparable in the sense that vibration level does not decrease monotonically with distance. Also, The site with the deepest tunnel gives the highest vibration level.

  • Research on vibration of a vehicle with a transversely mounted 4-cylinder engine was performed using a vector synthesis method, Data of the engine vibration for the vector synthesis method was obtained experimentally and the data was ODS-fitted to calculate vibration level on any engine location assuming that the engine is rigid body in the frequency range of interest. In order to derive the excitation force on the vehicle body, the displacements were converted from the acceleration of engine. The transfer functions from engine mounts to toe pan on the floor were obtained experimentally. The vibration level on the toe pan was predicted by multiplying the excitation force by the transfer function. The predicted vibration level was compared with experimental data and the result was reasonable. Using the developed method, analysis was made for the effect of body fixture conditions of the vehicle when testing the engine vibration and for the effect of the transfer functions when the engine is installed or when the engine is removed. Finally the degree of contribution for 12 transfer paths was calculated.

  • In this study, the improvement work to reduce the steering wheel vibration of a forklift truck is performed. The forklift truck newly developed possesses a trans-axle type power train to achieve a compact and low-price design. The forklift truck is directly subjected to a high-level engine vibration through hard mounted trans-axle housing. The engine vibration shakes the whole system of the forklift truck, and then a high level local vibration of steering wheel could not be avoided. As the results, the vibration source and path mechanisms are experimentally identified and then an improvement design is proposed to minimize the steering wheel vibration.

  • Ground vibrations induced from road were investigated to get the basic data that can be used to prepare countermeasures for environmental vibration problems. Vibration levels were measured simultaneously at three points in double distances from road. These data were analyzed with the type of vehicles. roads, media to understand the magnitudes and characteristics of distance attenuation of road vibrations. Vibration levels recorded on tapes were analyzed to understand the characteristics of frequency of road vibration. The range which could be influenced by the road vibration was estimated to take into account the mean of$L_{max}$ and distance attenuation of vibration level 5 m from roadside.

  • In terms of vibration damage and the serviceability for occupants in buildings, the purpose of vibration study lies in the reduction of vibration damage. However, only when vibration level of buildings is available, measures of vibration control and base isolation can be taken. The purpose of this paper is to provide a fundamental analysis method to estimate structural vibration. After analysing by using two methods, infinite model, combination method, a comparison between analysed results and the results of previous studies was performed to prove the validity of the prediction on the vibration of building structure. Thus, if the material property of soil and quantity of load sources are known before construction being started, the vibration level could be predicted by using these methods.

  • FFU are used increasingly by the microeleceronics industry to provide clean recirculating air for the fabrication of integrated circuits and laminar flow air. There may be several hundred ffu in a large cleanroom, covering 100% of the ceiling area. Hence, there is of often knowledge in the inside and outside of the country the flu give rise to noise & vibration trouble to microelectronics industry. Noise & Vibration control for satisfication about noise & vibration criteria in TFT-LCD factory cleanroom be in need of exact noise & vibration data of accurence from utility & equipment that can be exert a bad influence upon cleanroom. In this pater, hence we found out noise and vibration properities of ffu by using experimental method. And, we performed noise & vibration analysis about noise it vibration level in cleanroom using semiempirical method for quantative approach about noise & vibration level in cleanroom.

  • This paper is contents about vibration character that produce floor slab make up of concrete when played striking at each location. An experiment was achieved in apartment house just before occupancy which build newly to 100m$^2$ scale. Vibration level plays striking in whole 9 places and measured vibration character of x, y, z direction. As the result, vibration level of verticality direction showed high than horizontality direction.
