Generally, slope behavior is analyzed by 2-dimensional creep model. Creep behavior shows the deformation variation as time goes by without stress increment. Convention 2-dimensional creep analysis does not have the term of stress variation, it means creep analysis could not figure out the relationship of shear strength variation according to the stress variation and displacement. The slope weight and shear strength is directly related and interlocked to the safety variation and displacement of slope, therefore, this phenomenon could be treated and analyzed as combining the hysteresis and creep, the iteration of this process will result in the slope safety. Furthermore, the combined analysis will be the slope analysis considering shear stress, displacement and shear strength with time variation. In real case, because the variation of shear stress and strength happen at the same time, they should be changed into safety factor which is function of them. This paper shows the 3-dimensional variation of unit weight of soil with hybrid analysis considering creep and hysteresis on the seepage and drainage of rainfall, futhermore variations of shear stress and strength which make the safety factor change.

This paper is aimed to suggest the coefficient of variation of the total load on the segment lining and the coefficient of variation of earth pressure in reliability based design of shield tunnel. For this purpose, the statistical characteristics of weathered soil and weathered rock were calculated by analyzing the site survey data of the domestic urban section. The coefficient of variation could be estimated by applying these values to Terzaghi's theory using MCS technique. As a result, the coefficient of variation of rock load for weathered soil and weathered rock was 0.08~0.14. The coefficient of variation for the total load acting on the tunnel was LC1 = 0.38, LC2 = 0.33, and LC3 = 0.37. The proposed coefficients of variation can be used in the reliability-based design of shield tunnel segments.
An electrical resistivity survey is widely conducted for the safety management of embankment. In this study we investigated how a tidal variation affects the interpretation of electrical resistivity monitoring data of the embankment located in west coast. We monitored the variation of electrical resistivity on the coastal embankment where there was a high tidal variation for 3 days in every 3 hours. Electrical resistivity monitoring data showed a variation of resistivity distribution in specific area according to the time, which demonstrated some correlation with a tidal height variation. Therefore, we highly recommend that a tidal effect be considered when electrical resistivity survey is conducted on the embankment where there is a high tidal variation. For further study, we need a long term electrical resistivity monitoring and analyzing on tidal variation.

Transform variation technique is constituted the vibration status of the flash-gap recognition level (FGRL) on the distribution recognition function. The recognition level condition by the distribution recognition function system is associated with the scattering vibration system. As to search a position of the dot model, we are consisted of the distribution value with character point by the output signal. The concept of recognition level is composed the reference of flash-gap level for variation signal by the distribution vibration function. For displaying a variation of the FGRL of the maximum-average in terms of the vibration function, and distribution position vibration that was the a distribution value of the far variation of the $Dis-rf-FA-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $5.74{\pm}1.12$ units, that was the a distribution value of the convenient variation of the $Dis-rf-CO-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $1.64{\pm}0.16$ units, that was the a distribution value of the flank variation of the $Dis-rf-FL-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $0.74{\pm}0.24$ units, that was the a distribution value of the vicinage variation of the $Dis-rf-VI-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $0.12{\pm}0.01$ units. The scattering vibration will be to evaluate at the ability of the vibration function with character point by the distribution recognition level on the FGRL that is showed the flash-gap function by the recognition level system. Scattering recognition system will be possible to control of a function by the special signal and to use a distribution data of scattering vibration level.
Background: Socioeconomic factors are associated with screening in terms of reducing the risk of cervical cancer. This study aimed to clearly establish the effect of screening on variation in socio-economic factor-specific survival estimates. Materials and Methods: Survival estimates were calculated using the life table method for 165 women from the routine care control arm and 67 from the visual inspection with acetic acid screening arm diagnosed with cervical cancer during 2000-2006 in rural south India. Kaplan-Meier survival curves were plotted to compare the variation in survival by socioeconomic factors. Results: Whereas there was a significant variation in survival estimates of the different categories of age at diagnosis among the screen-detected cancers with women aged<50 years having an improved survival, no significant variation was noted among women diagnosed with cervical cancer from the control arm. Compared to the variation among the cancer cases detected in the unscreened control group, screening widened the variation in survival estimates by age and type of house, and reduced the variation by education. The direction of the magnitude of the survival estimates was reversed within the different categories of occupation, marital status and household income in the screen-detected cancer cases compared to control group cancer cases. Also, women diagnosed with stage 1 disease had a very good survival. Conclusions: Screening changed the pattern of survival by socio-economic factors. We found improved survival rates in screened women aged <50 years, with no formal education, manual workers and married women.

Many previous researches on the premixed flame in a tube have treated the unsteady flame behaviors in which the shape, position and intensity of the flame varied, but more detail and fundamental research has been necessary. The flame stabilization condition in a tube, a unique steady state, and the unsteady behaviors, using the stabilization condition as an initial condition, were carried out in recent years. In this paper, propane-air premixed flame was stabilized in a tube and the flame behavior was observed when the mean velocity variation was imposed into the opposite direction of the initial mean velocity. The velocity variation is larger than the burning velocity and longer than the reaction time scale. During the period of the velocity variation flame is not extinguished. But after the period of the mean velocity variation the flame could be re-stabilized or be extinguished depending on the experimental conditions: equivalence ratio, period of velocity variation and magnitude of velocity variation. The extinction mechanisms were classified into the two cases, one is caused by the flame stretch in the shear layer near the wall, and the other is caused by the vortices and vortexes, which are generted by the acoustic waves.

In a grid connected variable speed wind turbine, the PCC voltage and the wind power fluctuate as the wind velocity changed. And this voltage variation is changed due to location of PCC. This paper calculate the value of PCC voltage variation which is proportional to the product of the line impedance from the ideal generator to the PCC and the wind turbine output current. And to reduce this PCC voltage variation, this paper calculate the required reactive power analytically using the vector diagram method. Output reactive current is changed, if the reactive current is limited by inverter capacity or grid code have the margin of voltage variation. If the grid connected inverter is controlled by proposed algorithm, the PCC voltage variation is minimized though the wind turbine output change at random. To verify calculated voltage variation and required reactive power, this paper utilized Matlab and PSCAD/EMTDC simulation and real small wind turbine and power system in Sapsido, island in the Yellow Sea.

Wideness variation technique is compounded the smooth diffusivity-vibration status of the fulgurate-space realization level (FSRL) on the wideness realization morph. The realization level condition by the wideness realization morph system is associated with the diffusivity-vibration system. As to search a position of the dot situation, we are acquired of the wideness value with constructed-point point by the diffusivity upper structure. The concept of realization level is composed the reference of fulgurate-space level for variation signal by the wideness vibration morph. Further displaying a smooth variation of the FSRL of the maximum-minimum in terms of the diffusivity-vibration morph, and wideness position vibration that was the a wideness value of the far variation of the $Wid-rm-FA-{\alpha}_{MAX-MIN}$ with $23.24{\pm}3.37units$, that was the a wideness value of the convenient variation of the $Wid-rm-CO-{\alpha}_{MAX-MIN}$ with $7.83{\pm}1.32units$, that was the a wideness value of the flank variation of the $Wid-rm-FL-{\alpha}_{MAX-MIN}$ with $2.99{\pm}0.51units$, that was the a wideness value of the vicinage variation of the $Wid-rm-VI-{\alpha}_{MAX-MIN}$ with $0.51{\pm}(-0.01)units$. The diffusivity vibration will be to evaluate at the smooth ability of the diffusivity-vibration morph with constructed-point by the wideness realization level on the FSRL that is displayed the fulgurate-space morph by the realization level system. Diffusivity realization system will be possible to control of a morph by the special signal and to use a wideness data of diffusivity vibration level.
Daily rainfall data from 14 stations during 1941 to 2000 were analyzed in order to examine the characteristics of the variation of summer rainfall and the identify relationship between the variation of summer rainfall and the variation of SOI(Southern Oscillation Index) and NPI(North Pacific Index), global temperature. For further investigation, study period is divided into two 30 year intervals, 1941-1970 and 1971-2000. There are the trend of increase in August and decrease in September in the later period compared with the earlier one. It was Mid-west in August where there is the largest variation. It is related to the increase of the frequency of heavy rainfall. The second period of extreme rainfall by ten days is absent, or it change from early in September to late in August. According to the result, the dry spell in August disappears and Changma is continued to early in September. Gradually, there is change from negative (or positive) to positive (or negative) to the rainfall anomaly of the mid of August and the mid of September (or July). The correlation between the variation of rainfall and oceanic variation and global temperature is statistically significant.

The purpose of this paper is to find out the nature of language variation by exploring the ways of the progress of the language variation that produces all English-lects, i.e., the World Englishes. The study of language variation in linguistics is a hybrid enterprise, so the study of World Englishes has led to the recognition of a highly diverse set of all English-lects, encompassing regional dialects, sociolects, ethnolects and (post-)colonial dialects of World Englishes. In this paper, we propose a hybrid language variation model with three interacting factors of social distancing, on/off-contact, and linguistic diversity to examine the characteristics of language variation. In the context of World Englishes, the social distance is typically low in terms of their local location (country/speech) for local purposes. The social distance also varies based on online/offline communication modes and other social factors like gender, age and ethnic groups, resulting in all English-lects. To clarify the nature of World Englishes, the core Englishes, BrE, AmE and CanE are discussed here.
