Artificial Intelligence Application in City Marketing Strategies: Perspectives from Millennials and Generation Z

  • This study aims to explore driving factors of Artificial Intelligence application for city marketing strategy with perspectives of millennials and generation Z. This study proposed the following research questions: i) how perceived place branding factor, public service factor, affective factor, immersive experience factor, cognitive factor, cost benefit factor, social networking factor, and promotional value factor affect attitude toward AI application for city marketing; and ii) how attitude affect satisfaction and prospect toward AI application for city marketing? This study conducted an online survey with the assistance of a well-known research agency and applied factor and regression analysis to test hypotheses. The results found that effects of place branding, cognitive, social networking, and promotional value affect attitude significantly in the case of millennials, while effects of public service, affective, cost benefit, social networking, and promotional value affect attitude significantly in the case of generation Z. The results found that effects of attitude on satisfaction and prospect of AI showed significance. The results provide implications and different aspects for AI application of city marketing strategy with perspectives by generations, while millennials and generation Z perceived effects of promotional value as the most significant factor for AI application of city marketing strategy.

주말부부의 가족스트레스, 대처전략 및 가족건강성 연구 (A Study on the Family Stress and Coping Strategy, Family Strengths among Commuting Couples)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the family stresses and its managing strategy to cope with the stresses, and family strengths among commuting couples. The participants of this study consisted of a national samples of 134 couples (268 individuals), whose has been commuting for at least six months The major findings obtained from the study are summarized in the following: 1) The degree of family stresses among commuting couples was 2.98, when the maximal stress value was set to 5.0. The most stressful aspect for the commuting couples came from the role of parents who care for their children. 2) The degree of coping strategy among commuting couples was 3.37, when the maximal coping strategy value was set to 5.0. Among the strategies, the 'cognitive restructuring' shows the first. 3) The degree of family strengths among commuting couples was 3.76, when the maximal strengths value was set to 5.0. Also factors affecting the family strengths among commuting couples are dependent on their educational degree, religion, kind of jobs, commuting and conjugal periods, moving person, meeting frequencies, self-esteem and marital satisfaction. 4) The most effective variable of family strengths among commuting couples was marital satisfaction.

  • A center of economy, during last 50 years, has been transferred from production into consumption and a new consumption culture has been made by changing from reasonable trend into subjective and psychological trend. In the past, an interest of consumers was to possess things, however, in present, an interest of them is mental value and satisfaction to experience various cultures, to focus value and meaning human's life, and to realize desires. According to this trend, society's interest on interior design has continuously increased. Social phenomenon to make a serious consideration of design management and value is rushing with various brands on the basis of marketing strategy. In this kind of era, interior designers also should try to make interior design area brand through long, objective and systematic marketing plan. Therefore, this research shows differentiation strategy to make interior design brand on the basis of marketing strategy with theoretical background through literature study, and presents an example of spa and cosmetic beauty salon - current new consumption culture - on the basis of marketing strategy.

The Impacts of Three Sub-Policies and Sub-Strategies of Working Capital Management on Firm's Performance in Thailand

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the impacts of working capital policy and strategy on a firm's performance including profitability and market value. By applying One-Sample T-Test, working capital investment and financing policies were classified into the three sub-policies and strategies: aggressive, moderate, and conservative, unlike previous studies using two sub- policies and strategies. The results showed that the SET-listed companies in all seven industry sectors primarily adopted an aggressive working capital investment policy and a conservative working capital financing policy, so-called as moderate working capital management strategy (MWS), at 49.40%. While the firms adopted and conservative working capital management strategy (CWS), 45.70%, followed by the aggressive working capital management strategy (AWS), at 4.90%. When examining the impacts among three-sub policies and strategies on a firm's performance, it was found that the conservative working capital financing policy led to the highest profitability and market value in all industry sectors. The findings also revealed that the aggressive strategy has no impact on a firm's performance in terms of profitability and market value.

학생들의 과학 학습 동기 및 전략 (Student's Motivation and Strategy in Learning Science)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the intercorrelations among various motivational patterns and learning strategies and to examine the differences in motivation and strategy usage in terms of students' science achievement level, gender, and grade. A questionnaire on achievement goal, self-efficacy, self-concept of ability, expectancy, value, causal attributions, and learning strategies was administered to 360 junior high/high school students (178 males, 182 females). Students who adopted performance-oriented goal tended not to be task oriented. Task-oriented students had high levels of self-efficacy, high self-concept of ability, and expectancies for future performance in science. They also valued science and attributed thier failures to the lack of effort. However, performance-oriented students evaluated their ability negatively, did not value science, and attributed thier failures to uncontrollable causes. With respect to learning strategy, task-oriented students tended to use deep-level strategy, whereas performance-oriented students tended to use surface-level strategy and not to use deep-level strategy. High-achieving students, boys, and junior high school students were more task-oriented, evaluated their ability more positively, and valued science more than low-achieving students, girls, and high school students, respectively. High-achieving students and boys also used deep-level strategy more than each of their counterparts. However, no significant difference in learning strategy was found between junior high school students and high school students. Educational implications of these findings are discussed.

  • In order to meet competitive power, foodservice should aim to satisfy customers through distinguished quality and service as well as speciality and know-how. Especially, in coming 2000 year will be openned ASEM, 2001 will be the "Year to visit Korea", 2002 will be openned Korea-Japan Soccer World Cup, with these event as a momentum the domestic foodservice industry would be continuously increased and improved. Foodservice industry is the tertiary industry with the potentiality, tremendous popularity, premanancy and future-orient, it is gradually taking root as a basic industry after going through the industrialization. Furthermore, foodservice industry aim to satisfy customer based on quality, services, cleanliness, atmosphere, timing and value, besides, it is customer closeby service which to supply value and satisfaction through systemization, being manual, being technological renovation. Strategic management of foodservice industry is as following: Firstly, marketing strategy requires positing strategy to recongnize self-brand to the customer, thus requires to get hold how to take firm in customers′ mind. And then distingushed strategy requires. So somehow it is important to secure competitive in customers′ mind. Secondaryly, it requires strategy of competive advantegy. It is not to improve unique core competence of industry which is developed and studies for a long time but to pursuit diversfication based on core of industry Thirdly, it requires strategy of customer satisfaction. In these modern days it is important how much to satisfy customer, as it could be not expect continuous frowth and development without strategy of customer satisfaction. Therefore strategy of customer satisfaction is a necessary condition for the foodservice industry.

  • In this paper, the optimal decision making strategy for resource management is viewed in terms of a combined strategy of planting and producing time. A model which can be used to determine the optimal management strategy is developed, and focuses on how to design the operation of a Markov chain so as to optimize its performance. This study estimated a dynamic stochastic model to compare alternative production style and used the net present value of returns to evaluate the scenarios. The managers in this study may be able to increase economic returns by delaying produce in order to market larder, more valuable commodities.

다국적기업의 R&D 자회사 전략 : 기술기업 연구개발 특허성과를 중심으로 (MNCs R&D Subsidiary Strategy : Focusing on Technology Firm Patent Performance)

  • This study aims to analyze which subsidiary configuration strategy is more effective under uncertainty especially technology base multinational corporations (henceforth MNCs). In previous studies real option theory scholars argue that high breadth subsidiary configuration is most effective strategy because that provides flexibility to MNCs global network. In this study I want unveil more various types of uncertainty such as technology and learning uncertainty which are more important for technology base firm and further more examine the effect of MNCs subsidiary configuration on firm R&D performance each uncertainty case. Empirical study is performed by negative binominal model based on Japanese 108 multinational corporations. The result shows that under technology uncertainty, high breadth subsidiary configuration is better for firm R&D performance but under learning uncertainty high depth subsidiary configuration is better. Thus, the effects of MNCs subsidiary configuration on firm value can differ by types of uncertainty.

사이버대학교 공학계열 학생들의 숙달접근목표지향성, 과제가치, 자기조절학습전략의 학업만족도와 학업성취도 예측력 규명 (The Prediction of Mastery-Approach Goal Orientation, Task Value, and Self-Regulated Learning Strategy on Academic Satisfaction and Achievement of Cyber Engineering University Students)

  • 본 연구는 사이버대학교 공학계열 학생들의 숙달접근목표지향성, 과제가치, 자기조절학습전략의 학업만족도와 학업성취도에 대한 예측력을 규명하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 H 사이버대학교의 2011년 1학기 정보통신학과의 세 과목을 등록한 219명을 대상으로 웹서베이를 실시하였으며, 수집된 데이터를 바탕으로 숙달접근목표지향성, 과제가치, 자기조절학습전략을 예측변인으로, 학업만족도와 학업성취도를 결과변인으로 설정하여 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 과제가치(${\beta}$=.401)와 자기조절학습전략(${\beta}$=.401)은 학업만족도를 유의하게 예측하였으며, 자기조절학습전략(${\beta}$=.301)과 숙달접근목표지향성(${\beta}$=.196)은 학업성취도를 유의하게 예측하였다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 토대로 사이버대학교 공학계열 학생들의 학업만족도와 성취도를 향상시키기 위해 숙달접근목표지향성, 과제가치, 자기조절학습전략을 높이는 구체적인 증진방안이 고려되어야 할 것이다.

기술가치 평가시스템을 이용한 기술가치 전략 분석 (Analysis of Technology Value Strategy using Technology Valuation System)

  • 기술 투자와 거래의 증가는 기술가치 평가에 대한 관심을 증대시키고 있으나 평가의 전문성과 기술가치의 다양성으로 인해 객관적인 기술 가치 평가가 용이하지 않은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이 연구는 웹 기반의 대화형 기술가치 평가(WITV) 시스템을 개발하고 이 시스템을 이용한 기술가치의 평가 및 기술가치의 전략 분석에 그 목적을 두고 있다. WITV 시스템은 내적 기술가치(IVT)와 외적 기술가치(EVT)로 구성 된 기술가치 매력도(TVA) 모형을 이용하여 기술가치를 평가하고 해당 산업에서 기술의 가치를 제고하기 위한 전략을 분석하는데 이용되고 있다. 이 연구는 코스닥에 등록된 IT산업 의 중소 제조기업을 대상으로 TVA 모형과 WITV 시스템의 타당성과 적용가능성을 실험하였으며, 실험결과에 의해 그 효용성을 검증하였다.
