  • In this paper, Multisource data classification methods based on Bayesian formula are considered. For this decision fusion scheme, the individual data sources are handled separately by statistical classification algorithms and then Bayesian fusion method is applied to integrate from the available data sources. This method includes the combination of each expert decisions where the weights of the individual experts represent the reliability of the sources. The reliability measure used in the statistical approach is common to all pixels in previous work. In this experiment, the weight factors have been assigned to have different value for all pixels in order to improve the integrated classification accuracies. Although most implementations of Bayesian classification approaches assume fixed a priori probabilities, we have used adaptive a priori probabilities by iteratively calculating the local a priori probabilities so as to maximize the posteriori probabilities. The effectiveness of the proposed method is at first demonstrated on simulations with artificial and evaluated in terms of real-world data sets. As a result, we have shown that Bayesian statistical fusion scheme performs well on multispectral data classification.

  • A 3D point cloud map is an essential elements in various fields, including precise autonomous navigation system. However, generating a 3D point cloud map using a single sensor has limitations due to the price of expensive sensor. In order to solve this problem, we propose a precise 3D mapping system using low-cost sensor fusion. Generating a point cloud map requires the process of estimating the current position and attitude, and describing the surrounding environment. In this paper, we utilized a commercial visual-inertial odometry sensor to estimate the current position and attitude states. Based on the state value, the 2D LiDAR measurement values describe the surrounding environment to create a point cloud map. To analyze the performance of the proposed algorithm, we compared the performance of the proposed algorithm and the 3D LiDAR-based SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) algorithm. As a result, it was confirmed that a precise 3D point cloud map can be generated with the low-cost sensor fusion system proposed in this paper.

  • In this study, a method to remove residual powder on a multi-layered graphene and a new approach to transfer multi-layered graphene at once are studied. A graphene one-step transfer (GOST) method is conducted to minimize the residual powder comparison with a layer-by-layer transfer. Furthermore, a residual powder removing process is investigated to remove residual powder at the top of a multi-layered graphene. After residual powder is removed, the sheet resistance of graphene is decreased from 393 to 340 Ohm/sq in a four-layered graphene. In addition, transmittance slightly increases after residual powder is removed from the top of the multi-layered graphene. Optical and atomic-force microscopy images are used to analyze the graphene surface, and the Ra value is reduced from 5.2 to 3.7 nm following residual powder removal. Therefore, GOST and residual powder removal resolve the limited application of graphene electrodes due to residual powder.

Global fashion enterprise which is particularly sensitive to trend and influential to various field of business, has now transformed to total lifestyle enterprise and now started to show off furniture design to improve the value and image of the brand. This thesis has classified methodological types to apply furniture design and background of furniture design in fashion enterprise, analyzed and examined cases, and interpreted the possibility and direction of understanding to furniture design in various aspects.

  • 본 논문에서는 카메라의 화소값과 TOF의 센서의 거리값을 융합하여 객체의 점유 정보와 위치 정보 제공하는 새로운 TOF센서를 개발하고자 한다. 개발된 센서는 스쿨버스, 학원버스, 시내버스, 화물차(승용차 적용가능)에 적용 가능 하다.

대기압 유전체장벽방전 플라즈마에 의한 건고추의 식중독균 살균효과 및 품질변화 (Sterilization and quality variation of dried red pepper by atmospheric pressure dielectric barrier discharge plasma)

  • 건고추에 존재하는 미생물은 세균 3종(S. aureus, B. amyloliquefaciens, L. crispatus), 곰팡이 2종(I. lacteus, T. crustaceus)이 동정되었고, 그 중 인체 유해성이 있는 S. aureus를 대상으로 대기압 유전체장벽방전 플라즈마를 이용한 미생물 사멸효과와 건고추의 품질변화에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. S. aureus의 사멸율은 플라즈마 처리를 위한 전력과 노출시간의 증가에 따라 증가하였고, 노출거리 증가에 따라 사멸율이 감소하였다. 한편, 다양한 전력, 노출시간, 노출거리 범위에서 건고추에 플라즈마를 처리한 결과, 건고추의 ASTA value 및 경도는 영향을 받지 않았고, 관능 특성(향, 맛, 색, 전체적 기호도)에서도 유의적 차이가 관찰되지 않았다. 최종적으로, $25^{\circ}C$에서 12주 동안 플라즈마 처리된 건고추의 저장성을 평가한 결과, 건고추의 ASTA value, capsaicin 농도, 경도가 일정하게 유지됨으로 인해 대기압 유전체장벽방전 플라즈마기술이 농 식품산업에 적용될 수 있는 유용한 살균기술임을 확인하였다.

토지피복지도와 KOMPSAT-3A위성영상을 활용한 환경성평가지도의 구축 (Construction Method of ECVAM using Land Cover Map and KOMPSAT-3A Image)

  • 본 연구에서는 KOMPSAT-3A 위성영상과 세분류 토지피복지도를 이용한 환경가치등급 분류를 수행하여 국토환경성평가지도의 주기적인 갱신 및 제작 가능성을 제시하였다. 환경성평가지도(ECVAM: Environmental Conservation Value Assessment Map)는 62개의 법제적 평가항목과 8개의 환경·생태적 평가항목을 기준으로 국토의 환경적 가치를 5단계의 등급으로 평가한 지도이며, 1:25000과 1:5000의 두 가지 축척으로 제공되고 있다. 하지만 1:5000 축척의 환경성평가지도는 참조자료의 부재 및 상이한 제작년도 등 다양한 제약조건으로 인해 1년 단위의 느린 갱신주기로 제작되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 KOMPSAT-3A 위성영상과 광학지수(SI: Spectral Indices) 그리고 세분류 토지피복지도를 활용하여 딥러닝 기법 중 하나인 CNN (Convolutional Neural Network)을 기반으로 정확하고 최신정보가 반영된 1:5000 환경성평가지도를 구축 가능성을 확인하고자 한다. 실험 결과, 본 연구에서 제시한 방법으로 제작한 환경성평가지도의 정확도는 각각 87.25%, 85.88%로 산출되었다. 연구의 결과를 통하여 위성영상, 광학지수 그리고 토지피복분류를 활용한 환경성평가지도의 구축 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

Serum Carcinoembryonic Antigen Levels before Initial Treatment are Associated with EGFR Mutations and EML4-ALK Fusion Gene in Lung Adenocarcinoma Patients

  • Background: Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations and echinoderm microtubule associated protein like 4-anaplastic lymphoma kinase (EML4-ALK) define specific molecular subsets of lung adenocarcinomas with distinct clinical features. Our purpose was to analyze clinical features and prognostic value of EGFR gene mutations and the EML4-ALK fusion gene in lung adenocarcinoma. Patients and Methods: EGFR gene mutations and the EML4-ALK fusion gene were detected in 92 lung adenocarcinoma patients in China. Tumor marker levels before first treatment were measured by electrochemiluminescence immunoassay. Results: EGFR mutations were found in 40.2% (37/92) of lung adenocarcinoma patients, being identified at high frequencies in never-smokers (48.3% vs. 26.5% in smokers; P=0.040) and in patients with abnormal serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) levels before the initial treatment (58.3% vs. 28.6%, P=0.004). Multivariate analysis revealed that a higher serum CEA level before the initial treatment was independently associated with EGFR gene mutations (95%CI: 1.476~11.343, P=0.007). We also identified 8 patients who harbored the EML4-ALK fusion gene (8.7%, 8/92). In concordance with previous reports, younger age was a clinical feature for these (P=0.008). Seven of the positive cases were never smokers, and no coexistence with EGFR mutation was discovered. In addition, the frequency of the EML4-ALK fusion gene among patients with a serum CEA concentration below 5ng/ml seemed to be higher than patients with a concentration over 5ng/ml (P=0.021). No significant difference was observed for time to progression and overall survival between EML4-ALK-positive group and EML4-ALK-negative group or between patients with and without an EGFR mutation. Conclusions: The serum CEA level before the initial treatment may be helpful in screening population for EGFR mutations or EML4-ALK fusion gene presence in lung adenocarcinoma patients.

Evidence gathering for line based recognition by real plane

  • We present an approach to detect real plane for line base recognition and pose estimation Given 3D line segments, we set up reference plane for each line pair and measure the normal distance from the end point to the reference plane. And then, normal distances are measured between remains of line endpoints and reference plane to decide whether these lines are coplanar with respect to the reference plane. After we conduct this coplanarity test, we initiate visibility test using z-buffer value to prune out ambiguous planes from reference planes. We applied this algorithm to real images, and the results are found useful for evidence fusion and probabilistic verification to assist the line based recognition as well as 3D pose estimation.

  • In this paper, we presents a new disparity map refinement algorithm using statistical characteristics of disparity map and edge information. The proposed algorithm generate a refined disparity map using disparity maps which are obtained from area and feature-based Stereo Matching by selecting a disparity value of edge point based on the statistics of both disparity maps. Experimental results on aerial stereo image show the better results than conventional fusion algorithms in the disparity error. This algorithm can be applied to the reconstruction of building image from the high resolution remote sensing data.
