Clinical photography is an essential component of patient care in plastic surgery. The use of unsecured smartphone cameras, digital cameras, social media, instant messaging, and commercially available cloud-based storage devices threatens patients' data safety. This paper Identifies potential risks of clinical photography and heightens awareness of safe clinical photography. Specifically, we evaluated existing risk-mitigation strategies globally, comparing them to industry standards in similar settings, and formulated a framework for developing a risk-mitigation plan for avoiding data breaches by identifying the safest methods of picture taking, transfer to storage, retrieval, and use, both within and outside the organization. Since threats evolve constantly, the framework must evolve too. Based on a literature search of both PubMed and the web (via Google) with key phrases and child terms (for PubMed), the risks and consequences of data breaches in individual processes in clinical photography are identified. Current clinical-photography practices are described. Lastly, we evaluate current risk mitigation strategies for clinical photography by examining guidelines from professional organizations, governmental agencies, and non-healthcare industries. Combining lessons learned from the steps above into a comprehensive framework that could contribute to national/international guidelines on safe clinical photography, we provide recommendations for best practice guidelines. It is imperative that best practice guidelines for the simple, safe, and secure capture, transfer, storage, and retrieval of clinical photographs be co-developed through cooperative efforts between providers, hospital administrators, clinical informaticians, IT governance structures, and national professional organizations. This would significantly safeguard patient data security and provide the privacy that patients deserve and expect.

The proliferation of advanced technologies has been altering our lifestyle and social interactions-the next frontier is the digital home. Although the future of smart homes is promising, many technical challenges must be addressed to achieve convenience and security. In this paper, we delineate the unique combination of security challenges specifically for access control and consider the challenges of how to simply and securely assign access control policies to visitors for home devices and resources. We present a set of intuitive access control policies and suggest four access control settings based on our in-person interview results. Furthermore, we propose the automated Clairvoyant access right assignment (CARA) mechanism that utilizes home owners' social relationship to automatically deduce to which class a visitor belongs. The combination of CARA and the suggested mapping provides a promising first step for home policy assignment such that nonexpert home owners can let visitors use their home network with confidence. We anticipate that future research can build on our proposed mechanisms to provide confidence to non-expert home owners for letting visitors use their home network.

Several kinds of High Temperature Superconducting(HTS) power cables have already been developed and evaluated for use in the utility power network. HTS power cable is expected to be used as a very powerful energy delivery system supplying electric power for densely populated cities in the near future, because HTS power cable is capable of the high current density delivery with low AC loss and the size effect comparing with the conventional cable whose capacity is same. Before applying the HTS power cable to real utility network system analysis should be carried out by some simulation tools. Hereby the electrical power system analysis is very important for the practical use of HTS power devices. In this paper, authors propose a real-time simulation method which incorporates a real HTS tapes into the simulated 22.9kV utility power network system using Real Time Digital Simulator(RTDS). For the simulation analysis, a test sample of HTS tapes was actually manufactured, and the transient phenomenon of HTS power cable system was analyzed in the simulated utility power network.

유비쿼터스 환경에서의 다양한 서비스 및 단말에 대한 연동 및 융합을 위한 요구사항이 증가함에 따라, 전 세계적으로 이에 따른 관련 표준 및 기술 개발이 시작되고 있다. 또한 전자정부 등의 공공분야는 차기 목표로서 이음새 없는 서비스제공을 추진 중에 있으며, 이를 위하여 다양한 정부 시스템들을 연계, 통합하기 위한 서비스 융 복합 인프라에 대한 수요가 매우 높다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 이음새 없는 서비스 컨버전스가 실현되기 위해서는 현재의 웹 서비스 기반 SOA 기술과 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 다양한 서비스와 디바이스 통합 및 외부 단말을 융 복합하는 기술개발이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단일 웹 서비스를 BPM을 이용하여 융 복합하는 방안을 제시하였다. 이렇게 함으로써 웹 서비스를 재사용이 가능하게 하고 새로운 웹 서비스 생성에 기존 웹 서비스를 사용하여 개발의 시행착오와 오류를 줄임으로써 보다 효율적인 개발이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

Digital transformation represents one of the main obstacles facing several government, private, and non-profit sectors that help stabilize digital transformation in the Arabic region. One of the helpful ways to improve the level of freedom, productivity, and flexibility among employees to accept the BYOD approach is using their own devices to perform their work both in and outside the workplace. This study focuses to present the differences between the main three economic sectors, which represent the most important pillars of the economy in Saudi Arabia within the Kingdom's Vision 2030. BYOD also has great importance to the stakeholders for raising their awareness by expressing the implications, if the concept of BYOD is widely and correctly adopted. The study uses the diffusion of innovation (DOI) framework and quantitative analysis data to determine the main dimensions and important factors that help increase the awareness of the target audience. The number of participants in this study was 830, and the participants are mixing between the government, private, and non-profit sectors. The main findings showed a significant impact of several factors such as the importance of knowledge, ease of use, employee satisfaction, risk awareness, and attention to increase the level of acceptance in three main sectors study for using the BYOD approach widespread and professional use.

최근 들어 스마트 폰 사용의 확대로 우리 생활에 큰 변화가 나타나기 시작했다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 스마트기기의 활용으로 나타나고 있는 스마트워크와 일자리 창출을 위한 메커니즘에 대하여 살펴보고 그 발전방안을 찾고자 하였다. 따라서 스마트워크에 대한 명확한 개념적 정의와 IT를 통한 정보의 융합과 산업의 정보화가 가져온 신 시장 개척, 그리고 ICT를 통한 일자리 창출의 해외사례를 분석하였다. 나아가 스마트워크 플레이스하는데 있어서 국민의 문화적인 인식전환이 필요하다. 또한 민 관 협력을 기반한 클러스터 개발이 일자리 창출을 도모할 수 있을 것이다. 더불어 학계-협력업체-서비스업체 등의 상생을 통해 지역경제 발전의 주도적인 역할 수행을 강조하고 있다. 이를 위해 정부적 차원에서 스마트워크에 대한 정책적 지원과 민관이 협력할 필요가 요구된다.

스마트폰, 태블릿 등의 이동 통신 기기와 PC 이용이 확장됨에 따라 인터넷 상에서 데이터가 기하급수적으로 수집되고 있다. 또한 SNS의 발전으로 인해 이용자 간의 자유로운 의사소통과 여러 분야의 정보를 공유할 수 있어 다양한 다량의 의견들이 빅데이터 형태로 쌓이고 있다. 이에 따라 빅데이터 분석 기법을 사용하여 일반 사람들의 반응과 언론사의 뉴스 기사 반응의 차이를 알아보는 기법이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 아동 수당과 출산 장려금에 대해 SNS에서 나타난 대중들의 반응과 언론사의 반응을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 일정 기간 동안 트위터에 올라온 이용자들의 글을 수집하고 뉴스 기사를 크롤링하여 감성 분석을 진행하였다. 이를 통해 SNS에 나타나는 대중의 의견과 언론사 뉴스의 반응을 비교하여 대중과 언론이 국가 정책에 대한 반응의 차이를 비교 분석하였다.

개인용 디바이스의 발달로 개인들이 손쉽게 인터넷에 접속할 수 있게 되었으며, 소셜미디어를 통한 정보의 공유와 습득이 일반화 되고 있다. 특히 분야별 전문 커뮤니티가 발달하며 사회적 영향력을 행사하고 있어 기업과 정부는 이들의 의견을 반영하여 전략을 수립하는 일에 관심을 기울이고 있다. 온라인상의 다양한 텍스트로부터 대중의 의견을 읽어내는 것을 오피니언마이닝이라고 한다. 그 중 하나인 감성사전은 방대한 비정형데이터를 빠르게 파악하는 도구로 여러 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 주식시장은 사회의 여러 요인을 반영하여 변동한다. 최근에는 버즈량 분석 등 빅데이터를 기반으로 오피니언마이닝을 활용한 주식시장 연구가 시도되고 있다. 대표적인 예로 뉴스와 같은 텍스트 데이터 분석을 활용한 연구들이 발표되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 뉴스의 정제된 형식과 한정된 어휘를 사용한 기존연구를 보완하고자 증권전문 사이트 'Paxnet'의 게시 글을 분석대상으로 삼아 주식시장 맞춤형 감성사전을 구축하여 투자자들의 감성을 분석하는 데 기여했다.

최근 스마트폰의 보급화로 기기 간 근거리 무선통신에 관련된 기술이 주목받고 있다. 하지만 NFC의 저 보급화로 근거리 무선통신에 별도 추가의 H/W 설치 없이, S/W기반으로 무선통신을 이루어 내는 통신 기술이 필요한 실정이다. 이에 모든 기기에 탑재되어있는 마이크와 스피커를 활용하여 소리를 활용한 근거리 무선통신 기술이 주목받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소리의 다중채널 병렬식 전송으로 전송속도를 개선함과, 적응적 임계치를 활용하여 잡음 및 기기 마이크별 특성에 따른 상이한 전송률을 개선하는 방법을 제안한다. 이러한 연구는 기업홍보 목적이나 결제시스템과 같은 특정 제한된 조건이 아닌, 일반 사용자를 대상으로 빠르고 편리한 데이터 전송 시스템을 제공하는데 이용될 수 있다.

한국사회에 아이폰이 소개된 이후 일어난 아이폰 열풍은 이례적인 상황으로 받아들여졌고 이에 따라 모바일 업계나 연구자에게 관심의 대상이 되었다. 아이폰 열풍 이후 한국사회는 스마트폰이 견인하는 소위 스마트사회로 진입하게 되었다. 이러한 배경에서 한국 소비자의 스마트폰 수용과정을 이해하기 위한 설명력 높은 모형을 탐색 구축하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 분석결과 TPB, TAM 및 통합모형 모두 유의한 설명력을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. TPB가 TAM 보다 높은 설명을 보였으며, 통합모형은 근소하지만 TPB보다 높은 설명력을 보였다. 이 연구의 시사점은 새로운 정보통신기기 연구에서 널리 차용되는 TAM 보다 사회적 영향력과 개인적 속성을 고려한 예측력 높은 모형을 구축할 필요가 있다는 것이다.
