로봇파노라마헤드와 스티칭 기법을 활용한 기가픽셀 이미지의 생성과 기가픽셀카메라 기술 (The Study of Gigapixel Camera Technology and the Stunning High-Resolution Gigapixel Image Created by Utilizing a Robotic Panoramic Head and an Image-Stitching Technique)

  • 현재의 이미지 센서기술은 메가픽셀 급에 한정되어 있는데 메가픽셀 급의 이미지 센서로 기가픽셀의 이미지를 생성하기 위해서는 필수적으로 중첩영역의 이미지를 하나로 합성하는 스티칭(stitching) 기법을 쓸 수밖에 없다. 본 논문에서는 로봇파노라마헤드와 스티칭 기법을 사용하여 기가픽셀카메라 기술의 전 과정을 탐구해 보았다. 그리고 이 과정을 통해서 얻어진 경험이나 이해를 바탕으로 듀크대와 BAE의 기가픽셀카메라 기술에 대해서도 설계해석을 시도해 보았다. 또 나아가, 새로운 기가픽셀카메라의 광학구조에 대한 모색도 시도해 보았다. 기가픽셀카메라 기술에서는 스티칭 작업과는 별도로 먼거리의 피사체 혹은 대기오염과 같은 원인으로 발생하는 흐릿한 영상부분을 보정하는 것이 필수적이라는 것도 파악되었다.

핵심기술 소요결정을 위한 해양 무인체계 요구기술 분석 연구 (A Study on the Technology Analysis of Marine Unmanned System for Determination of Core Technology Requirements)

  • 지능화 혁명을 기반으로 한 4차 산업혁명은 사회 전반에 걸쳐 혁신을 이루고 있으며, 이는 국방 분야에도 그 영향을 미치고 있다. 기술의 발전에 따라 전쟁의 양상 또한 변화하고 있으며, 특히 4차 산업혁명 기술을 기반으로 국방 무인체계 분야와 관련된 핵심기술의 연구개발, 인프라 조성 등 다각적인 전략 수립이 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 무기체계 개발에 앞서 확보되어야 할 핵심기술에 대해 미래 해양 무인체계를 중심으로 연구개발 소요제기시 우선적으로 고려될 수 있는 해양 무인체계 분야의 요구기술을 선정하는 연구를 수행하였다. 먼저 해양 무인체계 분야의 핵심기술 우선순위 결정모형을 수립하고, 국방기술 표준분류 등 관련 문헌에서 무인로봇 분야 기술을 재분류 및 통합하여 무인체계 개발시 중점 고려되어야 할 기술분야 9개를 식별하였다. 실증분석을 위해 무기체계 전력업무를 수행하는 전문가 12명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 해양 무인체계 개발시 우선적으로 개발이 요구되는 기술분야의 중요도를 분석하였다. 결과적으로 소요군 및 연구기관, 업체 등에서 제시한 핵심기술을 선정함에 있어 우선적으로 고려되어야 할 핵심기술 분야를 식별할 수 있었으며 이는 미래 관점에서 해양 무인체계를 발전시킬 수 있는 기술로드맵 구축에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • Recently, with the development of the fourth industrial revolution that has been achieved through the fusion of information and communication technology (ICT), the technologies of AI, IOT, BIG-DATA, it is increasing utilization rate by industry and research and development of application technologies are being actively carried out. Especially, in the case of unmanned aerial vehicles, the construction market is expected to be one of the most commercialized areas in the world for the next decade. However, research on utilization of unmanned aerial vehicles in the construction field in Korea is insufficient. In this study, We have developed a quantitative building inspection method using the unmanned aerial vehicle and presented the protocol for it. The proposed protocol was verified by applying it to existing old buildings, and defect information could be quantified by calculating length, width, and area for each defect. Through this technical research, the final goal is to contribute to the development of safety diagnosis technology using unmanned aerial vehicle and risk assessment technology of buildings in case of disaster such as earthquake.

무인수상정 경로점 추종을 위한 강화학습 기반 Dynamic Window Approach (Dynamic Window Approach with path-following for Unmanned Surface Vehicle based on Reinforcement Learning)

  • Recently, autonomous navigation technology is actively being developed due to the increasing demand of an unmanned surface vehicle(USV). Local planning is essential for the USV to safely reach its destination along paths. the dynamic window approach(DWA) algorithm is a well-known navigation scheme as a local path planning. However, the existing DWA algorithm does not consider path line tracking, and the fixed weight coefficient of the evaluation function, which is a core part, cannot provide flexible path planning for all situations. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new DWA algorithm that can follow path lines in all situations. Fixed weight coefficients were trained using reinforcement learning(RL) which has been actively studied recently. We implemented the simulation and compared the existing DWA algorithm with the DWA algorithm proposed in this paper. As a result, we confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

쇼핑가치에 따른 무인패션점포 이용의도 -기술수용모형의 적용- (The Effects of Shopping Value on the Usage Intention of Unmanned Fashion Stores -Application of Technology Acceptance Model-)

  • The objective of this study was to verify the usage intention of unmanned fashion stores through the technology acceptance model and to verify the extended technology acceptance model including the shopping value as consumers' characteristic. An online survey, consisting of 626 consumers as participants, was conducted from March 13 to 19. Results of the study were as follows: This study used exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Furthermore, a covariance structure analysis using the maximum likelihood was conducted for hypothesis testing. According to the results, perceived ease of use affects perceived usefulness, which thereby affects the usage intention of unmanned fashion stores through attitude. Moreover, the analysis of the extended technology acceptance model including the shopping value as the intrinsic motivation of the consumers showed that the hedonic shopping value had a significant effect on the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, and perceived usefulness influenced the usage intention of unmanned fashion stores through attitude.

복합재 주익 무인항공기의 낙뢰보호 설계와 피격영역 해석 (Protection Design and Lightning Zone Analysis for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle with Composite Wings)

  • This paper describes the analysis of lightning strike zoning, the indirect lightning data simulation and the protection design for lightning indirect effects of equipment by lightning strike for unmanned aircraft consisting of composite wings. Through the analysis of lightning strike zoning according to the external shape of unmanned aerial vehicles, the structure areas that should be protected during lightning strike is derived, and the protection requirements of lightning indirect effects for flight critical equipments and equipment that must be operated upon lightning strike was derived. Lightning protection levels according to the location of mounting equipment and surrounding structure materials for each equipment was derived, and the protection design of the unmanned aerial vehicle with composite structures was also proposed from direct effect of lightning. Later, the lightning protection technology will be verified by the ground test of lightning direct and indirect effects.

  • -In recent years, unmanned underwater vehicles (UUV) have been vigorously developed, and with the continuous deepening of marine exploration, traditional energy can no longer meet the energy supply. Nuclear energy can achieve a huge and sustainable energy supply. The heat pipe reactor has no flow system and related auxiliary systems, and the supporting mechanical moving parts are greatly reduced, the noise is relatively small, and the system is simpler and more reliable. It is more favorable for the control of unmanned systems. The use of heat pipe reactors in unmanned underwater vehicles can meet the needs for highly compact, long-life, unmanned, highly reliable, ultra-quiet power supplies. In this paper, a heat pipe reactor scheme named UPR-S that can be applied to unmanned underwater vehicles is designed. The reactor core can provide 1 MW of thermal power, and it can operate at full power for 5 years. UPR-S has negative reactive feedback, it has inherent safety. The temperature and stress of the reactor are within the limits of the material, and the core safety can still be guaranteed when the two heat pipes are failed.

유인회전익기에 의한 다수 무인기 운용통제기술의 통합검증환경 구현 및 검증 (Implementation and Verification of System Integration Laboratory for Multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operation and Control Technology using Manned Rotorcraft )

  • 본 논문에서는 유무인 협업을 위한 유인회전익기에 의한 다수 무인기 운용통제기술의 요구도 검증을 위한 통합검증환경의 요구도 분석, 구현 및 검증에 대해 기술하였다. 통합검증환경은 유인회전익기 비행 모의, 무인항공기 비행 및 임무장비 모의, 무인항공기 제어 및 유인회전익기와의 통제권 변경을 위한 지상통제장비 모의, 유인회전익기 및 무인항공기 임무계획 작성 및 전송을 위한 운용통제장비 모의로 구성된다. 각각 구현된 구성품들은 소프트웨어/하드웨어 통합시험을 통해 요구도를 검증하였다.

무인우체국 장애인 서비스 모델 수립에 관한 연구 (A Study on Unmanned Post Office Service Model for the Disabled Person)

  • Recently, despite the presence of a large number of people with disabilities, facilities and services for the disabled are insufficient in comparison with the advanced countries. Especially, unmanned facilities and devices are not available for disabled people without help. As interest in disabled people increased, the convenient facilities for the disabled person should be legally installed in the public places. Moreover, social consensus formation and technical approaches are being actively pursued. In this paper, we propose a five-step scenario to use an unmanned post office. Based on the proposed scenario, we present the method to improve the accessibility of the user interface of the unmanned facilities. And we present a plan for establishing the short- and medium-term service models. This plan is expected to be highly practicable because it reflects the current situations of Korea Post and analysis result of the domestic and oversea cases.

  • In the recent year, Unmanned helicopters of airline industries are using in various industries such as monitoring system, agriculture and forest fire. A unmanned helicopter is needed a powerful engine for transport weighty payload and have to need a light weight. Therefore it is necessary a light weight transmission of the unmanned helicopter. Initially a rectangular transmission housing has been considered, but an empty space in the housing is not useful for light weight design. In this study, new model has been introduced into the transmission housing by using rapid prototyping. As a result, the weight of new transmission housing can be reduced very much as 67%.
