패션 인턴십 프로그램 모델 연구(I) - 학계용 시스템 구축을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Fashion Internship Program Model (I) - Focused on the System Development for the College Departments -)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a pragmatic fashion internship program as a following study of 'An analysis of the consciousness of the professors and college students for the fashion industry internship'. The methods of the quantitative analysis and some case studies were used for this study. The results of this study were as follows : Internship program has 6 steps ; ready, introduction, selection, operation, reputation, management. It will help professors and college students to execute the program systematically. The contents of the fashion internship program model for professors were as follows: 8 recruiting methods to find internship companies, the contents of the internship agreement, 6 types of internship, the contents of the recommendation letter, advanced education contents for a fashion internship, e-mentoring program model, a curriculum of the cultural study and the major course, evaluation standard elements of the intern students, the methods of evaluation etc.

  • 본 연구는 국내에서 북스타트 운동을 전개하고 있는 모든 주체를 대상으로 현황과 문제점, 추진과정의 어려움과 제도적 보완장치 등에 대한 인식도를 조사하고 활성화 방안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 그 가운데 특히 이동성과 접근성의 제약이 심한 영유아를 위해서는 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 공공도서관이 북스타트 운동의 거점으로 간주되어야 한다는 판단 하에 공공도서관 중심의 활성화 방안을 제시하는 데 치중하였다.

Brief Paper: An Analysis of Curricula for Data Science Undergraduate Programs

  • Today, it is imperative to educate students on how to best prepare themselves for the new data driven era of the future. Undergraduate education plays an important role in providing students with more Data Science opportunities and expanding the supply of Data Science talent. This paper surveys and analyzes the curricula of Data Science-related bachelor's degree programs in the United States. The 'required' and 'elective' courses in a curriculum for obtaining a B.S. degree were evaluated by course weight to indicate its necessity. As a result, it was possible to find out which courses were important in Data Science programs and which areas were emphasized for B.S. degrees in Data Science. We found that courses belong to the Data Science area, such as data management, data visualization, and data modeling, were more required for Data Science B.S. degrees in the United States.

설계기반 연구를 통한 의학교육 Continuous Quality Improvement 운영 경험 (Implementing Medical Education Continuous Quality Improvement Using Design-Based Research)

  • The goal of this study is to present efficient measures to improve the quality of medical education through using a developed and applied continuous quality improvement (CQI) model suitable for medical education. To achieve this purpose, we developed a theoretical CQI model through a review of the literature according to the design-based research method. Through repetitive productive cyclical processes and professional reviews, we finally deduced an appropriate CQI model for medical education. The most important results of this study are as follows: First, the CQI model for medical education is defined as a quality management system with a cyclical course of planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of medical education. Second, the CQI model for medical education is composed of quality management activities of educational design, work, and evaluation. In addition, each activity has the implementation strategies of planning, doing, checking, and improving based on the PDCA model (Plan-Do-Check-Act model). Third, the CQI model for medical school education is composed of committees related to medical education doing improvement activities, as well as planning, implementing and evaluating it with CQI. As a result, we can improve teaching by using the CQI model for medical education. It is more meaningful because this gives us organized and practical measures of quality management and improvement in medical education as well as in the educational process.

Automated Assessment System for Train Simulators

  • Numerous train operating companies provide training by means of driving simulators. A detailed analysis in the course of the rail research project 2TRAIN has shown that the simulation technology, the purposes of training and the overall concept of simulator-based training are rather diverse (Schmitz & Maag, 2008). A joint factor however are weak assessment capabilities and the fact that the simulator training is often not embedded into the overall competence management. This fact hinders an optimal use of the simulators. Therefore, 2TRAIN aims at the development of enhanced training and assessment tools. Taking into account that several simulators are already in use, the focus lays on the extension of existing simulation technology instead of developing entirely new systems. This extension comprises (1) a common data simulation interface (CDSI), (2) a rule-based expert system (ExSys), (3) a virtual instructor (VI), and (4) an _assessment database (AssDB). The foundation of this technical development is an assessment concept (PERMA concept) that is based on performance markers. The first part of the paper presents this assessment concept and a process model for the two major steps of driver performance assessment, i.e. (1) the specification of exercise and assessment and (2) the assessment algorithm and execution of the assessment. The second part describes the rationale and the functionalities of the simulator add-on tools. Finally, recommendations for further technical improvement and appropriate usage are given. based on the results of a pilot study.

LMS를 활용한 온라인 강의 환경에서 예비교사의 학습행태와 성취도의 상관관계 (The Relationship between Learning Behavior and Academic Achievements of Pre-service Teachers in Online Learning Using LMS)

  • 본 연구는 COVID-19 팬데믹 상황에서 LMS로써 MS Teams를 도입하여 온라인 강의를 진행하는 과정에서 나타난 예비교사의 학습행태와 학업성취도 간의 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. MS Teams와 연동된 MS Insights가 제공하는 MS Teams 방문일수, 과제 제출 기한 엄수, 소통에 대한 변인을 중심으로 수강성적과의 상관관계 및 매개효과를 알아보았다. 학습행태 변인과 학업성취도 간 피어슨 상관관계 분석의 결과, 예비교사의 학업성취도는 MS Teams 방문 일수 및 온라인 과제 제출 기한의 엄수와 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. MS Teams내 질문, 게시글, 답변 작성 빈도와 학업성취도 간의 관련성은 유의한 상관이 없었다. MS Teams의 학습행태 변인들이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향에 대한 다중회귀분석 결과, 과제 제출 기한의 관리 변인에 있어서 학업성취도를 설명할 수 있었다.

화공플랜트 견적 소프트웨어 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of the Estimation Software for a Petrochemical Plant)

  • The current dual-watchdog estimation system has individually calculated the construction, the engineering and the procurement cost. The dual-watchdog estimation system is inefficient and prolonged estimation period because of the lack of the interoperability and the difference of material unit cost and construction unit cost. In order to resolve this problem, new estimation software was developed. The estimation software is developed by making up for the weak points in existing estimation method. The cost data with the same standard is the key point. And this software enhanced accuracy and speed of the data search in stylized estimation standard. A summary of the construction, the engineering and the procurement cost was generated in this estimation software. The unit rate about the labor cost, equipment and expense through a sheet was handled. The developed estimation software has five categories on engineering cost, procurement cost, construction cost and subcontractor management sheet. In this study, the estimation software to supplement the faults of the existing estimation method was developed. And estimation software on petrochemical projects increases an efficiency of the estimation work.

경영정보 관련 학과의 교육과정 설계와 운영 방안: K대학 e-비즈니스학과 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on Design and Operation of MIS Oriented Curriculum)

  • Purpose To meet changing social demands and fulfill the needs of the information and communications technology industry, the curriculum of MIS related department should develop and implement new conceptual frameworks. In response, the purpose of this study was to develop curriculum for students in the Department of e-Business at Kyungnam University. Design/methodology/approach We conducted a demands analysis of educational demanders, NCS(National Competency Standards) based curricular analysis, and benchmarking from other management information systems related departments. The expert panel committee consisting of e-Business department faculty members was held to examine and discuss the student-oriented curriculum developed during this study. Findings Results show that the contents and types of curriculum should be organized so that students can maximize their professional job competency to apply to their core professional tasks. Given these findings, we reconstructed the curriculum with both basic and advanced courses, all systematically organized according to the job requirements they offer toward meeting the industry's needs. We also implemented the web-based JSSS(Job Searching Support System) with which educational demanders can search among 13 job types, estimate their performances, and obtain the information about course registration. In all this study presents specific, practical evidence of the job-related curriculum for students in the Department of e-Business at Kyungnam University.

부산 북항에서 VTS 시스템에 의한 출입항 선박의 접이안 작업과정의 실시간 모니터링 (Real-time monitoring of berthing/deberthing operations process for entering/leaving vessels using VTS system in Busan northern harbor, Korea)

  • The process of berthing/deberthing operations for entering/leaving vessels in Busan northern harbor was analyzed and evaluated by using an integrated VTS(vessel traffic service) system installed in the ship training center of Pukyong National University, Busan, Korea. The integrated VTS system used in this study was consisted of ARPA radar, ECDIS(electronic chart display and information system), backup(recording) system, CCTV(closed-circuit television) camera system, gyro-compass, differential GPS receiver, anemometer, AIS(automatic identification system), VHF(very high frequency) communication system, etc. The network of these systems was designed to communicate with each other automatically and to exchange the critical information about the course, speed, position and intended routes of other traffic vessels in the navigational channel and Busan northern harbor. To evaluate quantitatively the overall dynamic situation such as maneuvering motions for target vessel and its tugboats while in transit to and from the berth structure inside a harbor, all traffic information in Busan northern harbor was automatically acquired, displayed, evaluated and recorded. The results obtained in this study suggest that the real-time tracking information of traffic vessels acquired by using an integrated VTS system can be used as a useful reference data in evaluating and analyzing exactly the dynamic situation such as the collision between ship and berth structure, in the process of berthing/deberthing operations for entering/leaving vessels in the confined waters and harbor.

  • 해양시설의 다양화, 해양환경관리업의 활성화, 해양환경관리법의 시행 둥으로 인하여 해양오염방지관리인 교육 제도에도 변화가 예상된다. 2011년부터는 해양오염방지관리인 교육과정을 해양환경관리공단에서 운영하기 때문에 교육 수요에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하여 교육계획을 수립하여야 한다. 해양시설 해양오염방지관리인의 교육수요에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 주요요인을 살펴본 결과, 해양시설의 증가 및 해양환경관리업의 성장이 해양시설 해양오염방지관리인 교육생수에 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
