Pre-eruptive intracoronal resorption (PEIR) is a rare radiolucent lesion often located within the dentin and adjacent to the dentin-enamel junction, underneath the occlusal aspect of the crowns of unerupted teeth. The treatment approaches for these lesions involved with unerupted teeth have been known as to be relatively simple; depending on the extent of resorption, follow-up or restoration can be performed after surgical exposure. However, once the tooth is exposed to the oral cavity after eruption, it becomes highly vulnerable to the development of carious lesions. Thus, immediate intervention is required in such cases; failure to address it may result in the need for more complex treatments including endodontic therapy. The aim of this case report was to describe the characteristics of PEIR and the clinical management of the impacted immature permanent teeth diagnosed with PEIR.

Marsupialization is widely used as a primary treatment modality for reducing size of large cysts. However, there is no recommendation for specific duration of marsupialization. In addition, Carnoy's solution usually is applied at the time of enucleation as a fixative agent. In this report, we present an appropriate marsupialization duration of ameloblastoma involving two unerupted teeth. In this present study, marsupialization using a Foley catheter was performed in two cases of ameloblastoma of the mandible involving two adjacent impacted teeth. Carnoy's solution was applied for 3-5 minutes after enucleation in both patients. Periodically during marsupialization, the size of the radiolucency was measured in panoramic view, and clinical examination was performed. No remarkable paresthesia or soft tissue injury was observed after application of Carnoy's solution or during follow-up. We recommend 12 to 16 weeks as an adequate marsupialization duration for a large ameloblastoma involving two impacted teeth based on increased radiopacity along the margins of the lesions. Poor oral hygiene was an issue after 12 weeks of marsupialization in one case. There were no remarkable complications with Carnoy's solution in either case. The Foley tube has a two-way system that is more effective for irrigating the cavity than is the conventional one-way system.

Impacted or unerupted permanent teeth have many problems in making a diagnosis and treatment plan in dental clinic. There are several methods to treat impacted teeth. The combination of surgical exposure and orthodontic traction is usually the treatment of choice in cases with impacted teeth. Two cases are reported, which were treated with surgical intervention and orthodontic movement. and one case is treated with orthodontic movement alone. To improve esthetic problem and maintain periodontal health, We should avoid loss of attached gingiva in surgical exposure, and excessive orthodontic force during the traction of the impacted tooth.

The term 'impaction' is used to designate a tooth which remains unerupted in the jaw beyond the time at which it should normally be erupted. The main causal factors are local (lack of space, ectopic positions of teeth, supernumerary teeth, cyst, the occurrence of infectious process in the eruption path, traumatic facial injury etc.). Systemic and genetic disorders, however, may have primary failure of eruption and retarded eruption as additional symptoms (cleidocranial dysplasia, osteopetrosis etc.). Most cases of impacted teeth reported in the literature are of permanent teeth. The absence of primary teeth occur rarely whereas impaction of second primary molars is more numerous than all other impactions. Impaction due to primary failure of eruption must be distinguished from the secondary infraocclusion. The etiology of impaction of primary teeth is probably related to early ankylosis of primary teeth, but it is not clear. Failure of eruption of primary teeth may cause a number of complications, such as interference with development and eruption of succedaneous teeth, formation of cyst, and damage to adjacent teeth. This study is to report cases of primary failure of eruption in the primary dentition.
Dentigerous cysts are closed epithelium-lined sacs formed about the crowns of unerupted teeth. Most of them probably are the result of degenerative changes in the reduced enamel epithelium. The authors observed 1 3 year old girl with a swelling and buccal bony expansion of the left mandible. Roentgen examination showed a cystic area in the left side of mandible. Under general anesthesia by means of nasotracheal intubation, intraorally, the operation by enucleation consisted in surgical removal of dentigerous cyst and the left unerupted Ist molar of mandible. The cavity was partially sutured and packed with iodoform gauze. Healing was uneventful.

A dentigerous cyst is an epithelium-lined sac that surrounds the crown of an impacted, embedded, or unerupted tooth. Many surgical procedures have been described for the elimination of dentigerous cyst, but they can be devided into two basic group: enucleation and marsupialization. Marsupialization is a conservative technique which allows the reduction or elimination of a cystic lesion by making it an accessory compartment to the oral cavity and it is the best way to conserve a tooth affected by dentigerous cyst and to permit its eruption, especially in young patient. After using marsupialization to treat dentigerous cyst associated with the crown of unerupted premolar in young patient, the results were as follows: 1. Reduction of bony expansion and rapid bone regeneration without infection and recurrence were observed. 2. Normally spontaneous eruption of involved teeth were permitted, as well as loss of affected tooth was avoided. 3. Follow-up examinations revealed no complication and recurrence.

The term "Oligodontia" or "Hypodontia" have been used to describe variable degrees of reduction in number of teeth. Oligodontia may occur alone or as a result of some syndrome. Although the teeth are derived in part from ectoderm, the current opinion of reason of oligodontia should be reserved for those disorders in which there is abnormal development of one or more ectodermal tissues. 7 year 5 months old female was refered to the department of pedodontics, college of dentistry Yonsei university for evaluation and replacement of absent teeth. She had no special inf.ectious disease in her childhood, and her parents were healthy. She had no special syndrome of ectodermal disorders except the saddle nose, yellow and fine hair, and notched upper anterior central incisor. Panex radiogram was showing 6 anterior primary teeth, 2 permanent first molars and 2 unerupted first bicuspid in mandible. Another permanent teeth were absent. and normal number of primary and permanent teeth in maxilla. Lateral cephalogram showed no special abnormality in growth pattern. We had evaluated lower anterior decayed teeth with jacket resin and chrome steel crown and removable partial denture at missing area. We had got good results for rehabilitation of function and aesthetic.

Autotransplantation is the surgical repositioning of an autogenous erupted or unerupted tooth from one site to another in the same individual. This treatment is indicated in traumatic tooth loss, teeth with severe caries, congenitally missing teeth, teeth with bad prognosis and in case of developmental anomalies of teeth. The following 2 cases describe the potential to utilize autotransplantation to replace hopeless teeth with sound wisdom teeth.

The prevalence of supernumerary teeth is between $1{\sim}3%$. Of these, $90{\sim}98%$ occur in the maxilla with particular predilection for the premaxilla, preceded by mandibular third premolars, mandibular forth molars and maxillary paramolars. The most common ones occur in the maxillary anterior region, they may occur singly between the central incisors(mesiodens), or they may be double(mesiodentes). Maxillary anterior supernumeraries may erupt into the oral cavity or remain unerupted. It is found that approximately 25% are erupted, while the rest are unerupted. They are usually a small tooth with a cone-shaped crown and a short root. They may cause delayed eruption, median diastema, bodily displacement or rotation of the adjacent permanent teeth. Occasionally they may lead to the developement of dentigerous cyst or primordial cyst, or eruption into nasal cavity. In this study, 109 supernumeraries surgically extracted from premaxilla in 84 patients are analysed. The results are as follows : 1. Sex distribution of male and female is 2.2 : 1. 2. Almost cases are in pediatric age from 5 to 12 years old (87%). 3. Problems with supernumeraries are tooth malpositon, diastema, delayed eruption, eruption to nasal cavity and cyst formation. 4. Of 109 supernumeraries, 16(15%) are erupted into oral cavity, 92(84%) are impacted, and 1(1%) is erupted into nasal cavity. 5. Of 84 patients, 59(70%) have one supernumeray while 25(30%) have two supernumeraries. 6. Of 109 supernumeraries, 96(88%) are found within the region of the central incisors. 7. Of 109 supernumeraries, 94(86%) are vertically impacted, 11(10%) are horizontally impacted, 3(3%) are labiopalatally impacted and 1(1%) is impacted in nasal cavity. 8. Of 84 patients, we used palatal flap in 67(80%), labial flap in 6(7%), both flaps in 4(5%) and no flap in 7(8%). And incisive nerve was cut in 33(49%) of 67 palatal flaps. 9. Extration with ostectomy was done in 72 supernumeraries(66%), without ostectomy in 37 teeth(34%). 10. Extraction with tooth sectioning was done in 21 supernumeraries(19%), without tooth sectioning was done in 88 teeth(81%). 11. We used local anesthesia in 70 patients(83%) and general anesthesia in 14 ones(17%).
