The purpose of this study was to investigate whether there are any differences among kindergarten teachers', primary school teachers', and children's mothers's perceptions-belief, knowledge, practice-about the educational articulation between kindergarten and primary school. The results of this study were as follows; First, there were differences among kindergarten teachers, primary school teachers, and mothers about the belief of articulation content. Second, in the knowledge of educational articulation, kindergarten teachers's understandings of the counterpart's curriculum were higher than that of primary school teachers's. Third, in the practice of educational articulation, kindergarten teachers and mothers were focused language and mathematics learning for educational articulation. But primary school teachers were focused school adjustment.

This study is to investigate empirically the turnover awareness of key member working in Research & Development Division in high technology electronic R&D institute. Through the analysis of 106 questionnaires and individual depth interview with key member who is evaluated as core researcher and developer in their working project or has good results in the last 2-3 years, this study obtains the practical informations on the understandings of their professional consciousness and extend of turnover awareness etc. The findings are as follows. Two-thirds of the researcher has the mind of turnover to improve job stability and develop their career. They have an self-awareness that they are key member as a core competent person in working project and their organization, but are dissatisfied with the underestimation of their performances that are not recognized by the organization as they expected level. And the result indicates that many of them haven't find their visions in their organization.

Recent significant development of organic electronics is worthy of notice for its practical application as well as fundamental understandings. Complementary-like logic circuit is a key factor to realize actual operating organic electronic devices since its advantages of low power dissipation, good noise margin and stable operations. In this reason, studies on ambipolar properties of organic materials which can act as either n-type or p-type are getting more attentions. Performances of ambipolar transistors vary a lot along its molecular structures and film properties. When properly fabricated, balanced hole and electron mobilities over 1 cm2/Vs were observed recently. Study of charge transport in ambipolar organic transistors to understand this high performance was carried out through charge modulation spectroscopy.

Objectives : To research origin of the shape of vital gate(命門) in Yixuerunmen makes us understand more exactly what the author, Li Chan(李梴) thought vital gate shaped. Methods : It's shape described in his book was compared with pictures portraying it in Hua Tuo Xuan Men Nei Zhao Tu(華陀玄門內照圖), one of references of his book. Results : He reasonably modified its passing track, while explaining it according to the paintings in Hua Tuo Xuan Men Nei Zhao Tu. Vital gate, as he thought, was not an real organ like the other five viscera, but a cord or a tube similar to blood vessels. He believed its cord had long connections from pericardium to terminal of urethra, which went through pericardium upward, right kidney downward, right around terminal rectum down-frontward, and urethra in parallel outward. Conclusions : He had consistent understandings for vital gate to penetrate several different viewpoints, as based on pictures in Hua Tuo Xuan Men Nei Zhao Tu.

In this paper, we describe an educational tool for presentation which shows teacher's whole handwriting process to learners named HPT(Handwriting Presentation Tool). We assume that presenting writing processes has rich educational information. We believe this information influences learners' understandings of the provided learning contents. Animation functions of popular presentation tools are not enough to represent this information. Our presentation tool enables the lessons with a new type of presentation slides which combine advantages of traditional blackboards and popular presentation tools.

This experiment was performed to examine the immuno-reactive characteristics of fish metal-binding protein, metallothionein (MT), and gain the practical understandings for the proposed use of fish MT as a biomarker. Liver MT induced by Cd in the silver carp was seperated and purified by gel filtration chromatography and ion exchange chromatography. The immuno-reactivity of fish MT was examined with 3 rabbit antisera. Fish MT showed little reactivity with rabbit anti-rat MT antiserum and a weak reactivity with anti-MT peptide antiserum while showed a strong reactivity with rabbit anti-fish MT antiserum. The time-course change of liver MT in the silver carp, after waterborne exposure to 1 ppm of Cd, was checked by Cd-hem method and established competitive ELISA. In both cases, the induction of liver MT showed a good increasing relationship with the exposure days. The results indicate that the fish MT can be developed as a useful biomonitoring means in the toxicological study and for the evaluation of water pollution.

Channels for getting customer information and understandings become to be various. In this study, we collect the customer information using various channel and we analyze out a primary factor. Using this results, we present the method that cluster target customers. It is the object of this paper that analyze out the effects when we execute the One-to-One-Marketing using clustered target customer based customer pattern.

This case study aimed to explore proficient EFL readers' perceptions and experiences about reading tasks and how those perceptions and experiences influence their reading processing behaviors, and to examine how the cultural background of a text affects their reading strategies and comprehension. Three college students who were non-English majors participated in this study. Three data sources were employed: questionnaires, interviews, and think-alouds. The results showed that: (1) the participants emphasized comprehension as the goal of reading and considered themselves good EFL readers; (2) their reading purposes were closely associated with personal pursuits; (3) they preferred to read materials that deal with areas of interest but did not try to take a risk in terms of level of difficulty and/or length; (4) they implemented a multistrategic approach to reading in that the majority of their strategy use was in conjunction with their concern about meaning construction; (5) they were able to develop useful understandings of unknown vocabulary; and (6) their clear awareness of the cultural background presupposed in the text helped them invoke prior knowledge and reduce unknown vocabulary hindrances which contributed to comprehension. Pedagogical implications for EFL reading instruction are provided.

Though, the disasters of shipboard crew have many types and aspects, most of them are caused by human elements, and the management and the regulations for the crew safety are other elements for the crew disaster. Accordingly, the analysis of the consciousness and understandings on crew's safety management system is one of the important parts to reduce the accident. Therefore, this study made up the questionnaire and assorted the respond of shipping companies, ship's officers and engineers including captains to our questionaries, and analyzed the results to pick out and find their consciousness on the crew disaster. And also, this study is to make proposals to prevent and reduce the accident.

The earthquake resistant design for roadway bridges introduced in 1992 is conducted according to the "Standard Specification for Roadway Bridges", Division V, Seismic Design and the first revision of the Standard was done in 1996. However, dur to different concepts of the earthquake resistant design from those of the other designs, the provisions given in the Standard are still not applied appropriately. In this paper the verification of the earthquake resistant capacity of a bridge with typical configurations, 5-span steel box girder bridge, is carried out based on the application rules of the present Standard in order to provide clear understandings about the earthquake resistant verification and the earthquake resistant design as well.n as well.
