Ubiquitous healthcare is a recent technology and a new methodology of medical diagnosis and medical care. However, in order for u-Healthcare service to become a general technology, there are some technological barriers(mobility, minimization, battery consumption etc) to overcome. In this paper, we developed a spectrum analysis system for smart phones. The results showed that compared to other solutions, our's were not only small in size but also almost the same in performance(reproducibility comparison experiments, Spectrum, Calibration Curve and Prediction). Therefore, the proposed solution is expected to be widely used in u-Health area.
Recently, with the advances in sensor techniques and net work computing, Ubiquitous Sensor Network (USN) has been received a lot of attentions from various communities. The sensor nodes distributed in the sensor network tend to continuously generate a large amount of data, which is called stream data. Sensor stream data arrives in an online manner so that it is characterized as high-speed, real-time and unbounded and it requires fast data processing to get the up-to-date results. The data stream has many application domains such as traffic analysis, physical distribution, U-healthcare and so on. Therefore, there is an overwhelming need of a USN middleware for processing such online stream data to provide corresponding services to diverse applications. In this paper, we propose a novel USN middleware which can provide users both context-aware service and meaningful sequential patterns. Our proposed USN middleware is mainly focused on location based applications which use stream location data. We also show the implementation of our proposed USN middleware. By using the proposed USN middleware, we can save the developing cost of providing context aware services and stream sequential patterns mainly in location based applications.

In these days, the use of context in application running on mobile devices such as PDAs and smart Phone has become a crucial requirement for several research areas, including ubiquitous computing. mobile computing. Previous middlewares which support context provisioning uses single strategy. But, this paper proposed middleware integrated multiple strategies for context provisioning, namely internal sensors-based, external infrastructure-based, and distributed provisioning in ad hoc networks. Applications can query needed context items using SQL like context query language and require context information to use different provisioning mechanisms depending on resource availability and presence of external infrastructures.

Real-time(RT) object-oriented(OO) distributed computing is a form of RT distributed computing realized with a distributed computer system structured in the form of an object network. Several approached proposed in recent years for extending the conventional object structuring scheme to suit RT applications, are briefly reviewed. Then the approach named the TMO (Time-triggered Message-triggered Object) structuring scheme was formulated with the goal of instigating a quantum productivity jump in the design of distributed time triggered simulation. The TMO scheme is intended to facilitate the pursuit of a new paradigm in designing distributed time triggered simulation which is to realize real-time computing with a common and general design style that does not alienate the main-stream computing industry and yet to allow system engineers to confidently produce certifiable distributed time triggered simulation for safety-critical applications. The TMO structuring scheme is a syntactically simple but semantically powerful extension of the conventional object structuring approached and as such, its support tools can be based on various well-established OO programming languages such as C++ and on ubiquitous commercial RT operating system kernels. The Scheme enables a great reduction of the designers efforts in guaranteeing timely service capabilities of application systems
The basic research of context aware in ubiquitous environment is an internet technique and XML. The XML data of continuous stream type are popular in network application through the internet. And also there are researches related to query processing for streaming XML data. As a basic research to efficiently query, we propose not only a labeled ordered tree model representing the XML but also a mining method to extract frequent structures from streaming XML data. That is, XML data to continuously be input are modeled by a stream tree which is called by XFP_tree and we exactly extract the frequent structures from the XFP_tree of current window to mine recent data. The proposed method can be applied to the basis of the query processing and index method for XML stream data.

RFID technology of Ubiquitous core technology was used the local parts of Traceability System in past, but the various parts of u-Healthcare, Home networks, Telematics, and etc. in today on the one hand, according to be interested in the home networks technology and develope it, we are searching about how to apply RFID technology in home networks. This paper is designed and implemented the system delivered tag information to the application of home networks and controled RFID reader remotely by the bundle implemented RFID reader process methods based OSGi framework platforms.

Techniques for processing continuous queries are required to developing the various types of application services in ubiquitous environment where the real-time data acquisition from a lot of sensors, analysis, and processing are required. In the previous works of the continuous queries, they have represented all of the continuous queries as the interval queries or region queries, and proposed some methods for processing theses queries. The types of continuous queries, however, are very various, and could be presented by combining the attribute conditions, spatial conditions, and temporal conditions. In this paper, I have classify the types of continuous queries, and have proposed the continuous query model which could be presented by combining those conditions. The contributions of this paper include that it proposes the query model representing the continuous queries and suggests future research directions.

The supply of context information is increasing with the propagation of ubiquitous computing environment. Recently, as context information is being collected through electronic tags and sensors attached to the environment, we need methods to efficiently store and search large volumes of data. This paper describes the application of the RLE (Run Length Encoding) compression method for sensors that continuously collect data in USN/RFID terminals.Time information is marked on the data and one data block is generated and saved. This paper proposes a storage method that allows us to quickly search data of the desired time and place by recording time information in continuous data.

Mobile Health (M-Health) system is a recent term for medical and public health practice supported by mobile devices, such as mobile phones, PDAs, and other wireless devices. Mobile Health system has been successfully establishing at few general hospital in Korea. However, to use diverse devices manufactured by various company cause inoperability, and lack of security disappoints customers often. Although the outstanding health environment, most of hospitals are unavailable to share electronic patient records due to lack of standard protocol to handle the interoperability each other. Health Level 7 (HL7) is the best solution for the problem. In this paper, we will analyse a current M-Health service in terms of security and mobile device, and suggest iPhone for the best device against hospital environment. Also, for keep confidentiality of health information and patient privacy, enhanced security mechanism is introduced. As a consequence, interoperable standard, and most appropriate device for supporting staffs and M-Health performance, and enhanced securirty mechanism will be integrated in order to propose improved M-health model.

Increasing of number of people who suffered from long term chronic diseases which required frequent daily health monitoring and body check up in conjunction with the trendy uses of mobile phones and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) in various ubiquitous computing had make portable healthcare system a well known application today. A mobile phone based portable healthcare monitoring system with multiple vital signals monitoring ability at real time in WSN and CDMA network is developed. This system carries out real time monitoring and local data analysis process in the mobile phone. Any detection of abnormal health condition and diagnosis at earlier stage will reduce the risk of patient's life. As an extension to the existing model, a pre-diagnosis management system (PDMS) is designed to minimize the time consuming in pre-diagnosis process in the hospital or healthcare center. An alert is sent to the web server at the healthcare center when the patient detects his health is at critical state where the immediate diagnosis is needed. Preparation of diagnosis equipments and arrangement of doctor and nurses at the hospital side can be done earlier before the arrival of patient at the hospital with the help of PDMS. An efficient pre-diagnosis management increases the chances of diseases recovery rate as well.
