  • Ubiquitous computing(UC) is an emerging paradigm. Its arrival as a mainstream is expected to trigger innovative UC-driven business models (UCBMs). Currently, there is no Parsimonious methodology to analyze and provide diagnostics for UCBMs. With this research, we propose a analytical architecture that enables the assessment of an UCBM in its structural strengths and weaknesses. With value logic as the cornerstone, the architecture is composed of value actors, value assets, value context, business value Propositions, customer value propositions, value creation logics, and value assumptions. Dimensional variables are initially Identified based on the review of business model literature. Then, their significance is empirically examined through 14 UCBM scenarios, and variables that are expected to Play an important role in the UCBM assessment are decided. Finally, by analyzing the scenarios in terms of the dimensional variables, we attempted to summarize general characteristics of emerging UCBMs.

  • The most profound technologies are those that disappear. Silicon-based information technology, in contrast, is far from having become part of the environment. The idea of integrating computers seamlessly into the world at large runs counter to a number of present-day trends. Ubiquitous computing is not just aiming nomad multimedia. Rather, this computing environment lets us free to use computers without thinking and so to focus beyond them on new goals. In that context, Mom is such a fundamental membrane through which humans can interact with the environment. An embodied interaction paradigm, based on Mom, is investigated. Mom, space. sensing/perception, ubiquitous computing, and interactive technology are some of the key ideas to explore.

  • In this paper, we propose a level of contexts such as low level and high level contexts, and its criteria of categorization are the existence of interaction and composite process done by the inference mechanism. When there is no matching high level service for the associated high level context, this context is described as meaningless. If the services cannot be provided with the entities by the system, this situational information is of little consequence. To provide services with the entities, we propose "community computing" architectural concept which provide the high level service to a group of agents in a community, and can be managed by the service scenario

  • The limited battery power in the mobile environment, lack of sufficient wireless bandwidth, limited resources of mobile terminals, and frequent breakdowns of the wireless network have become major hurdles in the development of mobile cloud computing (MCC). In order to solve the abovementioned problems, This paper propose a proxy-based MCC framework by adding a proxy server between mobile devices and cloud services to optimize the access to cloud services by mobile devices on the network transmission, application support, and service mode levels. Finally, we verify the effectiveness of the developed framework through an experimental analysis. This framework can ensure that mobile users have efficient access to cloud services.

  • Privacy is one of the most important and difficult research issues in ubiquitous computing. It is qualitative rather than quantitative. Privacy preserving mainly relies on policy based rules of the system, and users cannot adjust their privacy disclosure rules dynamically based on their wishes. To make users understand and control their privacy measurement, we present a scheme to quantize the personal privacy. We aim to configure the person's privacy based on the numerical privacy level which can be dynamically adjusted. Instead of using the traditional simple rule engine, we implement this scheme in a complex way. In addition, we design the scenario to explain the implementation of our scheme. To the best of our knowledge, we are the first to assess personal privacy numerically to achieve precision privacy computing. The privacy measurement and disclosure model will be refined in the future work.

  • Ubiquitous computing which is called, the innovation of the 21st Century is a core technology of next generation. RFID technology is noticed, and physical distribution, home network, telematics, like industry automatization are developed by using various technique. Particulary, They use RFID technology for fashion and beauty industry, So, supplying network management, physical distribution management and warehouse management are investigated for the automatization. What we have investigated so far, a traceability system is made of ubiquitous sensor network for monitoring fashion and beauty industry environment. The proposed system using EPC network can provide information of industrial products traceability quickly and efficiently. Moreover, this system with RFID Technology gives intelligence of distribution and record. In this paper, We recommend the vision of Ubiquitous convergence of fashion and beauty industry.

  • This paper aims to describe how the decision making capability and context-aware computing are jointly used to establish ubiquitous applications. An amended DSS paradigm: CKDDM is proposed in this paper. Under the CKDDM paradigm, a framework of ubiquitous decision support systems (ubiDSS) is addressed with the description of the subsystems within.

  • As pervasive computing technology, which aims to get linked to useful knowledge, information or services anytime, anywhere, using any devices and/or artifacts, is proliferating, desirable impacts on knowledge management systems are now available. The pervasive computing technology will potentially enable the knowledge management systems to realize individualization and socialization and ultimately increase the knowledge processing productivity. However, researchers who apply the pervasive computing methodologies to novel way of knowledge management have been very few. These result in unsatisfactory consideration of establishing pervasive knowledge management systems. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to cast the vision of pervasive knowledge management and search for a couple of possible research issues and possibilities. This paper suggests a framework of ubiDSS, an amended knowledge management system for the next generation deploying pervasive and autonomous knowledge acquisition capabilities of ubiquitous computing technologies. Also the CKAM, context-based knowledge acquisition module, is illustrated as a prototype of future knowledge management systems.
