Although the fast advancing information infrastructure makes the connectivity possible to reach almost anywhere, it does not ensure a successful development of e-commerce for every country. The challenge will not come only from the technology, but also from the people. To examine the effect of cultural differences on the perception for Internet shopping, shoppers from two different countries - the U.S. and Korea - were chosen, and the perception for Internet shopping from each is contrasted.

서울그리드센터는 서울시립대학교에 사무국을 두고 있다. 현재, KISTI에서 주관한 GRID Forum Korea(GFK)에 참여하여 국가 그리드 사업을 서울지역을 중심으로 전개하고 있다. 서울그리드센터워킹그룹(의장: 이용우교수), 전산물리 워킹그룹(의장: 민현수교수), 그리드 서비스워킹그룹(의장 : 김진석교수)의 3개 Working Group과, 고려대학교의 정창성교수가 의장으로 있는 객체지형 미들웨어 워킹그룹이 현재 참여하고 있다. 또한. 한국기초과학연구원이 의장으로 있는 원격연구그리드워킹그룹과 동반관계에 있다. 서울그리드센터는 다른 기관과 워킹그룹들과 협력하기 위하여 문호를 활짝 개방하고 있다.

본 고에서는 고신뢰 사물지능 생태계 창출을 위한 TII S/W 프레임워크를 소개한다. TII 기술은 사람, 사물, 서비스에 대한 신뢰 정보를 용이하게 수집하고, 신뢰 모델링을 통해 물리적, 사이버, 소셜 영역의 사람/사물에 대한 신뢰 데이터 구조화와 복합 신뢰 분석을 수행하며, TSB(Trust Service Broker)의 중재를 통해 상세 개인/사물 정보 제공없이 신뢰 기반 서비스를 이용/제공하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 전체론적 신뢰 관리를 위해 TII 시스템에 신뢰 네트워크를 고려한 구조를 제시한다.

컴퓨터를 쓰면 연속절단면 영상을 쌓아서 3차원 영상으로 재구성한 다음에 3차원 영상을 잘라 볼 수 있고 3차원 영상의 일부를 골라서 돌려 볼 수 있다[1,2]. 이처럼 사람 몸의 연속절단면 영상과 3차원 영상이 있으면 의과대학 학생과 일반인이 의학을 공부하는 데 도움이 된다(그림 1,2)[1-8,9].

End-User Computing (EUC) is one of the most significant developments in corporate computing in the 1980's. An information center (IC) supports EUC by providing end-users with technical assistance and consulting services. This study investigates the effective management and implementation of an IC in an organization with respect to the three sociotechnical factors : characteristics of end-users, social relationships with the DP/MIS department, and 3) technological infrastructure of EUC. An exploratory framework for managing IC is developed based on extensive literature review and results from interviews with IC directors of 17 large companies in the midwestern region in U.S.A.

IT,BT,NT,ST 등 슈퍼컴퓨팅 자원을 요구하는 첨단 응용 연구가 전 세계적으로 활성화되면서 이 기종간의 슈퍼컴퓨팅 자원들의 공동 활용 등 첨단 응용 연구를 위한 그리드(Grid)가 출현하게 되었다. 그리드 환경에서 메타 슈퍼컴퓨팅을 구현하기 위해서는 슈퍼컴퓨팅 서비스 관련 기능들의 표준화가 매우 중요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 그리드와 슈퍼컴퓨팅의 관계, 그리드 기반 슈퍼컴퓨팅 표준 요구 기능들, GCF에서의 과련 표준화 동향을 조사.소개한 후 그리드 환경에서의 메타 슈퍼컴퓨팅 표준화 연구 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

과학기술 중시의 정책기조는 앞으로도 계속될 것이고, 과학기술을 통한 남북의 협력은 비정치적, 비사상적인 이유로 인해 어느 분야보다도 북한이 적극 나설 수 있으므로 그 가능성은 대단히 높다고 할 수 있다. 현재 남북경협은 단순 교역 방식의 위탁가공이 주류를 이루고 있으나 기술이전 등 기술협력 방식으로 발전이 요구되고 있다. IT를 중심으로 활발히 진행되어온 남북 교류는 과학기술 전반으로 기술 이전 및 협력 등 교류의 폭을 넓혀 나갈 것으로 기대된다.

In order to implement e-trade infrastructure through the radical innovation of trade process, e-trade platform which is called 'uTradehub' has been developed for three years. After pilot operation of this platform in 2007, the formal service of e-trade such as logistics, customs and foreign exchanges had been provided in 2008. However, the usage of e-Trade platform is not the level of users' satisfaction because trade-related communities have not actively participated into e-trade platform and several functions with users requirements are necessary to develop additionally. In this regard, there are strong demands to suggest some strategies for application and usage proliferation of e-trade platform. Therefore, this paper would like to evaluate the current status of e-trade platform service and usage by the theoretical consideration of preceding researches and practical analysis of statistical data. Then, it will explore several service improvement ideas in terms of system supplementation and integration, electronic documents standardization, radical change of using fee, global connection, user oriented education and advertisement.

A safe and secure civil aviation system is a critical component of the nation's overall security, physical infrastructure, and economic foundation. Although it is not fully known at this time what actually occurred or which of the weaknesses in the nation's aviation security apparatus contributed to the terrible events of 11 September in the U.S.A., it is clear that serious weaknesses exist in our aviation security system including regulation system. Actually, defectiveness of regulations structure and contents concerned in aviation security were discussed in various studies. On this study, we have identified defectiveness in aviation security regulation system by the comparative study between 14 CFR and Korean regulations. Finally, we are to provide some suggestions and alternatives to improve aviation security regulation system in this country.

This article describes a development CDMA LBS in order to apply to "Control System of Underground Infrastructure Fire Accident" which one of U-City Projects of Seoul City. Our goal guides taking shelter of the sufferer it will not be able to use a GPS when the fire occurs from subway station. There are Location measurement methods which measures the AOA(Angle of Arrival) of the signal which it sends with the MS(Mobile station) from the BS(Base station), an electronic delivery time (TOA:Time of Arrival) and the relative difference of electronic arrival time from Base stations (TDOA:Time Difference of Arrival). This time the error due to a multiplex course error and near-far problem and NLOS(Non Line of Sight). We are planning to construct the Test Bed which is an error below 1 meter.
