The U-health service provides medical services with patients anytime or anywhere and is defined as the service that combines information and communication technology with health and medical service. However, it causes some troubles, such as the disclosure of patients' medical information or data spills (personal information extrusion). Moreover, it has the weak point of the security threats associated with data based on existing wire-wireless systems because it conducts data transmission and reception through the network. Therefore, this paper suggests a safe personal information management system by designing integrated certification schema that will help compensate for the weaknesses of the U-health service. In the proposal, the protocols for user information, certification between medical institution and users, data communication encryption & decryption, and user information disuse were designed by applying the ID-Based Encryption, and analyzed such existing systems and PKI Based-based communication process, securely and safely.

For digital TV, the recommendation of u-health personalized service of semantic environment should be done after evaluating individual physical condition, illness and health condition. The existing recommendation method of u-health personalized service of semantic environment had low user satisfaction because its recommendation was dependent on ontology for analyzing significance. We propose the personalized service recommendation method based on Naive Bayesian Classifier for u-health service of semantic environment in digital TV. In accordance with the proposed method, the condition data is inferred by using ontology, and the transaction is saved. By applying naive bayesian classifier that uses preference information, the service is provided after inferring based on user preference information and transaction formed from ontology. The service inferred based on naive bayesian classifier shows higher precision and recall ratio of the contents recommendation rather than the existing method.

This study was to analyze the influences of various factors on the u-health service. Data was surveyed from experienced of u-Health service sectors. We measured legal support, IT-infra, user education, the user education, and the u-Health solution, are the critical success factors for the u-Health service. Also we evaluated u-Health services by survey data from the users. We did also the research to evaluate the validity and reliability of these factors. After that the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was applied to measure the weights among these factors. Factor analysis resulted in 6 major factors (Eigenvalue > 1.0). The AHP analysis showed the list of Critical Success Factors weighted by its significance priorities. The results of this paper could be the valuable references for the policy making process of the u-Health system in Korea.

The purpose of this study is to provide policy implications for vitalizing u-health services. We carried out survey of 500 consumers and indepth interview with various experts. Both experts and consumers believe that u-health services will become prevalent in the longrun, although there exist obstacles against vitalization of u-health services. To vitalize u-health service, the Korean government should raise reliability and recognition of u-health service for consumers. Furthermore, law and institution regarding u-health services should be improved to give enough incentives for u-health suppliers and consumers.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to propose the utilization plan of Ryodoraku in the U-health care systems. Methods : Computerized literature searches were performed for Ryodoraku related articles using the following databases: KISS, RISS, DBPIA, NDSL from 1990 to Oct 2010. Search terms were '양도락' or 'Ryodoraku' or 'U-health'. Due to Ryodoraku coming from Japan, additional literature review(articles published by 2008) on Japanese journal of Ryodoraku medicine was done for compensation. Results : 1. Introduction of U-health : As rapid progress of population aging and strong interest in health, the demand for the traditional Korean medical service is increasing. Until now healthcare service has provided post treatment by face-to-face manner. But according to related researches, proactive treatment is resulted to be more effective for preventing diseases. Particularly, the existing healthcare services have limitations in preventing and managing chronic geriatric degenrative diseases such as metabolic syndrome, CVA, coronary heart diseases, parkinson's diseases, degenerative joint disease, spondylosis, etc., because the cause of the above is complex and even related to life habit. As the advent of ubiquitous technology, patients with the chronic geriatric degenrative diseases can improve life habit such as poor eating habits and physical inactivity without the constraints of time and space through u-healthcare service. Therefor, lots of researches for u-healthcare service focus on providing the personalized healthcare service for preventing and managing that. To cope with this situations, The concept of u-healthcare service should be adopted in the traditional korean medicine and diagnostic devices suitable for it should be also devised and developed based on traditonal korean medine. 2. Review of existing Ryodoraku related articles for applying to U-health : articles investigating feasibility applying Ryodoraku to meridian diagnosis and raising problems of it, articles providing recent research trends of Ryodoraku, Ryodoraku related articles considering usefulness for U-health, and articles confirming the repeatability and reproducity of Ryodoraku were included. Based on the review of the above Ryodoraku related articles, several application of Ryodoraku in the U-health care system. Conclusions : To make preparations for the increasing need of traditional Korean medicine due to rising morbidity rate of chronic geriatric degenerative diseases, it is necessary to appropriately apply Ryodoraku to the U-health care system. The application of Ryodoraku is as follows. 1. To use Ryodoraku additionally to the established diagnostic device of metabolic syndrome, CVA, coronary heart diseases, parkinson's diseases, degenerative joint disease, spondylosis. 2. To apply Ryodoraku to the symptoms or diseases having a tendency to be diagnosed by correlation between the affected meridian and the lesion such as headache, nuchal pain, shoulder pain, low back pain, sciatica, HNP, etc. 3. To secure the repeatability and reproducity of Ryodoraku. 4. To devise and develop Ryodoraku appliance in order to overcome the known drawbacks and to improve error of measurement.

Korea is experiencing a rapid increase in the number of elderly living alone accompanying the aging society problem, a nd is making efforts to solve the problem through the policy of 'living alone u-care service'. The purpose of this study is to propose a better u-Care service improvement method by applying new technology to improve the user experience of ucare service for the health and safety of the elderly living alone. First, the improvement of u-Care service for elderly livin g alone by applying IoT technology. It provides remote monitoring service using health information data measured through wearable device, and transmits personal health status to medical institution by using personal device such as smart phone, so that remote medical consultation or telemedicine can be connected in the future. Second, improvement of u-Care service through consideration of emotional stability of elderly living alone as well as simple safety and health care through applica tion of emotional service robot technology.It is expected that it will be able to help independent living of one person's elde rly person in the future by providing caring function service to existing u-care service providing service.

U-health care services have been attracted to effectively solve some problems in promoting health and preparing aging society. Although the recent U-health care services have been developed to treat diseases, it requires environment information related to health for preventing fundamental diseases and for promoting health. In this study, a U-health environment service that reflects context recognition information is proposed. The proposed service draws environment information using local weather and healthcare information in users' residential areas. In the context recognition based U-health environment services, various services are provided to users not only health, living weather based menu, and exercise services but user location based warning messages for dangerous regions and remote emergency services. That is, based on such context recognition, some events that are to be occurred to users are detected and then it will provide proper services. Thus, it improves the satisfaction of U-health services and its service qualities.

Along with the social interests and needs for health, the U-Healthcare Service as a new model to control individual dietary life and to prevent chronic diseases is now drawing the public attention. In this study, the characteristics of the requirement of U-Healthcare Service were investigated from subjects aged over 50 years old. As parts of the expectation to the U-Healthcare service, the customized clinical care & control (37.7%) and the systematic understanding of individual health state (21.4%) appeared significantly. And for the application of the U-Healthcare Service to the field of healthcare, the control of dietotherapy (43.9%) appeared higher than anything else and thus the customized service for individual dietotherapy seemed to be needed. Regarding the field of searching for health information, the disease control (35.6%), food materials (28.6%), and recipe for health foods (22.7%) appeared in sequence and revealed that the majority over 50% of subjects were interested in foods. The requirements for the information of dietary formula were also investigated through 5 points scaled questionnaires on respective topics of nutritive components, menus customized for corresponding health states (diseases), and the results obtained from surveys on respective topics all showed the needs for all information by representing each point value exceeded 3.9. Through the results obtained from this study, the provision of customized information enabling the nutritional control in accordance with individual states of health or disease was estimated to be needed for the popularization of U-Healthcare Service providing contents for dietary life of clients especially those of aged over 50 years.

Ubiquitous healthcare is a recent technology and a new methodology of medical diagnosis and medical care. However, in order for u-Healthcare service to become a general technology, there are some technological barriers(mobility, minimization, battery consumption etc) to overcome. In this paper, we developed a spectrum analysis system for smart phones. The results showed that compared to other solutions, our's were not only small in size but also almost the same in performance(reproducibility comparison experiments, Spectrum, Calibration Curve and Prediction). Therefore, the proposed solution is expected to be widely used in u-Health area.
