  • In this Paper, we discuss an active TCP link of unsynchronized transmission mode network in two-way traffic and the Improvement of its traffic patron thorough the network pathway of protocol is shown. This is because the traffic pattern is performed on the basis of existing windows which are distributing information in several periods of time in the way of interfacing LTS control module, which is controlling by an information of exceeding the time limit of feedback loop determined by RTP, with TCP. The simulation to utilize this efficiently is performed with the circumstance of bench mark based on physical modeling of the self-similarity traffic in the performance of TCP. In this paper, we use a methodology to understand and evaluate the effect of change of transmitting protocol in sticks under the condition of the self-similar traffic in two-way network and it is shown that an improvement of congestion control by self-similarity under a heavy condition.

Performance analysis of STTC using time-space ciphering method appropriate for MIMO channel (MIMO 채널에 적합한 시공간 부호 기법으로 STTC의 성능 분석)

  • This paper presents a way to maximize transmission efficiency and reception ability through transmission diversity technology, which can be adapted to wireless multimedia OFDM system. The presented method is a comparative analysis between a case where parameter $\alpha$for time average is 0.3, 1 with consideration of channel presumption with two types of rms delayed proliferation, which is 50nsec, 150nsec, for the performance analysis of STTC(Space-Time Trellis Code) using time-space ciphering method appropriate for MIMO channel, and performance in the case where presumed channel value from long training column section is applied to according frame in a single frame. The result showed that BER brought SNR improvement of 1.0dB in 10-3 when $\alpha$ was 0.3 than using only the long training column, and showed increase of general performance improvement for the sake of time average rather than the case without.

  • The Controller Area Network (CAN) is being widely used for real-time control application and small-scale distributed computer controller systems. However, CAN may exhibit unfair behavior under heavy traffic conditions. When there are both high and low priority messages ready for transmission, the proposed precedence priority filtering method allows one low priority message to be exchanged between any two adjacent higher priority messages. In this way, the length of each transmission delays is upper bounded. These procedures are implemented as local controllers for the ISHURO (Inha Semyung Humanoid RObot).

  • When two adjacent AC systems operate at different frequency such as 50Hz and 60Hz, as in the case of ROK and Russia, the only way to practically obtain the advantages of power system interconnection is to use HVDC connection. In this paper, application of the VSC-HVDC transmission for power system interconnection between Russia and ROK is evaluated through the PSCAD/EMTDC modeling and analysis. The simulation results show the feasibility of proposed system for cross border power system interconnection.

  • In this paper, a design method of multiple n-way low loss power divider for x-band is propossed. To decrease loss, only two-stages of transmission lines are used with isolation resistors for match. Ex- perimental results for 3-way and 4-way power dividers have the divided power of 5.54~6.17dB and 6.76~7.37 dB, the return loss of more than 17dB and 12dB, and the isolation of more than 18dB and 10dB at center frequency, respectively, The measured results show good agreement with the theoretical analysis.

  • In this paper, we suggest a way of implementing ISDN S-Interface through two-wire premises telephone networks instead of using four wires as in the existing ISDN systems. This will help many developing or underdeveloped countries in the world to introduce ISDN services, where they have only two or low wires as in-building telephone networks. We suggest new physical-layer specifications for two-wire S-interface similar to that in ITU-T recommendations I.430 for four-wire systems, design a tranceiver according to the suggested specifications, and implement it using an FPGA We build a test board with the chip on it and succeed in connecting to Internet.

  • This paper proposes a compact dual-band 3-way power divider that helps lowering the weight of a transceiver for the L-band or multi-purpose satellite communication. Instead of the multi stages or tapering which ends up with loss accumulation and size-growth, the non-linear dispersive phases from the metamaterial CRLH(composite right and left-handed) properties are obtained by the accurate formulation and implemented by the short transmission line segments. Firstly, the CRLH dual-band two-way unequal power divider and equal power divider are separately designed. And then, the input of the two-way equal power divider is plugged in the output port of the unequal one, and the entire geometry is slightly adjusted for the desirable performance. The circuit analysis and full-wave simulation are used to predict the frequency responses and validated by the measurement of the prototype. Besides, the size-reduction effect is addressed.

  • Recently, the bidding between generating company and transmission company have been accomplished according to restructure of power system industry. And the bidding will develop to TWBP (Two-Way Bidding Pool)type. In this way, it will be important issue on optimum reliability maintenance of the power supply. Thus, in this paper illustrate to customer survey result for the interruption cost analysis. Actually the domestic customer survey is performed on 300 samples. Then the points at customer survey and direction are presented in this paper. Customer is divided into 5 types, total response of customer survey was 22 percent. Furthermore domestic customer survey result characteristics will be use for the basis data of the large scale customer survey.

  • In this study, a shifting algorithm of CVT was suggested for the two(2) driving modes : (1) power mode and (2) economy mode. Shifting algorithm must be obtained to make the engine run on the optimum operating line for the desired performance of the vehicle. Optimum operating lines of the engine were obtained by connecting the shortest way of the iso-power lines for the power mode and by connecting the shortest way of the BSFC curves for the economy mode. Also dynamic model of CVT vehicle was derived considering the throttle and the brake operation. By using the shifting algorithm and the CVT vehicle model, numerical simulations were performed to estimate the performance of CVT. Simulation results showed that comparing the performance of the conventional 4-speed automatic transmission, acceleration performance of the CVT vehicle was almost same with the AT vehicle for the power mode and the fuel economy of CVT was 14% superior than that of AT for the economy mode.
