2단 튜브인발 공정시 인발변형률 배분모델 재발 (Drawing Strain Distribution Model for the Two-Pass Drawing Process)

  • For the large reduction in tube cross section, the tube drawing process is usually performed by two successive passes, so called first drawing and second drawing. In multi-pass drawing process, the reduction balance is important to prevent drawing cracks. Therefore in this study, the model for uniform reduction distribution in two-pass drawing process has been developed on the basis of cross sectional variation of drawn tube. For the given product geometry the model provides optimal diameter and thickness that can evenly distribute drawing reductions. The capability of model is well confirmed by finite element analysis of tube drawing process. Criteria curves at various limit strains to determine whether the drawn tube would fail during drawing process are also proposed by using newly developed model.

용접 잔류응력 해석을 위한 Heat Input Model 개발 (Modeling of Welding Heat Input for Residual Stress Analysis)

  • 용접에서 발생하는 열응력 및 잔류응력을 해석하기 위한 유한요소용 모델을 개발하였다. 여러 가 지 변수의 연구를 통하여 Ramp heat input function과 Lumped모델을 제시하였다. 용접부에 열입 력을 점차적으로 주기 위하여 Ramp heat input을 이용하였으며 Ramp input을 통하여 이차원 모 델에서의 이동열원의 영향을 고려하였고 실험치와 비교에서 최적 ramp시간을 결정하였다. 다층용 접에서는 용접 pass 에 비례하여 계산시간이 증가한다. 따라서 후판용접의 잔류응력계산에는 막 대한 계산시간이 필요하며 이를 줄이기 위하여 Lumped 모델을 개발하였다. 이 Lumped모델에서 는 각 용접층에 들어있는 용접 pass들을 하나의 lumped pass으로 이용하였으며 각 pass를 따로 계산한 모델 및 시험치와의 비교를 통하여 최적 lumped technique을 제시하였다. *****Finite element models were developed for thermal and residual stress analysis for the specific welding problems. They were used to evaluate the effectiveness of the various welding heat input models, such as ramp heat input function and lumped pass models. Through the parametric studies, thermal-mechanical modeling sensitivity to the ramp function and lumping techniques was determined by comparing the predicted results with experimental data. The kinetics for residual stress formation during welding can be developed by iteration of various proposed mechanisms in the parametric study. A ramp heat input function was developed to gradually apply the heat flux with variable amplitude to the model. This model was used to avoid numerical convergence problems due to an instantaneous increase in temperature near the fusion zone. Additionally, it enables the model to include the effect of a moving arc in a two-dimensional plane. The ramp function takes into account the variation in the out of plane energy flow in a 2-D model as the arc approaches, travels across, and departs from each plane under investigation. A lumped pass model was developed to reduce the computation cost in the analysis of multipass welds. Several weld passes were assumed as one lumped pass in this model. Recommendations were provided about ramp lumping techniques and the optimum number of weld passes that can be combined into a single thermal input.

An eCK-secure Authenticated Key Exchange Protocol without Random Oracles

  • Two-party key exchange protocol is a mechanism in which two parties communicate with each other over an insecure channel and output the same session key. A key exchange protocol that is secure against an active adversary who can control and modify the exchanged messages is called authenticated key exchange (AKE) protocol. LaMacchia, Lauter and Mityagin presented a strong security definition for public key infrastructure (PKI) based two-pass protocol, which we call the extended Canetti-Krawczyk (eCK) security model, and some researchers have provided eCK-secure AKE protocols in recent years. However, almost all protocols are provably secure in the random oracle model or rely on a special implementation technique so-called the NAXOS trick. In this paper, we present a PKI-based two-pass AKE protocol that is secure in the eCK security model. The security of the proposed protocol is proven without random oracles (under three assumptions), and does not rely on implementation techniques such as the NAXOS trick.

Recursive 디지털 필터 모델에 대한 역 필터링 기법 (An inverse filtering technique for the recursive digital filter model)

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털 필터 모델에 대한 역 필터링 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 안정한 non-causal IIR 역 필터를 안정한 causal 역 필터로 변환(근사)시키는 것이다. 실제로 이 역 필터에 대한 FIR 근사 방법을 제안한다. 전역통과 시스템에 대한 역 필터의 임펄스 응답은 그 시스템에 대한 임펄스 응답의 거울 영상(mirror image) 임을 알 수 있다. 특히 전역통과 시스템에 대한 임펄스 응답이 이러한 대칭성을 갖기 때문에, 제안한 기법은 다른 시스템 보다 전역통과 시스템에 더욱 유용하다. 제안한 역 필터링 기법을 설명하기 위하여, 네 개의 예제를 제시한다. 그들 중 둘은 전역통과 필터에 대한 것이며, 다른 두 개의 예제는 IIR과 FIR 필터에 대한 것이다. 또한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안한 기법이 잘 동작함을 보인다.

  • The DEM (Digital Elevation Model) can be obtained from stereo image pair acquired by LEO satellite. Stereo images may consist of at least two images with different viewing angles to the imaging target for one pass or multiple passes. While each image is generally acquired from each pass in cross-track direction for multiple passes, stereo image pair in along-track direction can be acquired during one pass with attitude control capability for the pitch axis of the satellite. Single pass stereo imaging provides stereo pair image more efficiently on the fact that stereo pair image is generated with less orbit resources and less imaging time consumption. In this paper, the feasibility study result on the stereo pair image collection planning algorithm during single pass is addressed.

Recursive 디지털 필터에 의한 전리층 채널 모델링 (A modeling for an ionospheric channel using recursive digital filter)

  • In this paper, a recursive digital filter realization for an ionospheric channel model is proposed. This realization is in the form of a cascade of identical second-order all-pass filters, and is determined by only three parameters; two coefficients of an all-pass section, and the number of sections. The values of these parameters are optimized by a nonlinear optimization algorithm called the "downhill simplex method", so that the resulting time delay function closely approximates that of the ionospheric channel model. Comparing with the nonrecursive digital filter realization, it can be shown that the proposed recursive-digital-filter-realization is advantageous in points of view for the numbers of filter coefficients and the realization.

Prediction of Longline Fishing Activity from V-Pass Data Using Hidden Markov Model

  • Marine fisheries resources face major anthropogenic threat from unregulated fishing activities; thus require precise detection for protection through marine surveillance. Korea developed an efficient land-based small fishing vessel monitoring system using real-time V-Pass data. However, those data directly do not provide information on fishing activities, thus further efforts are necessary to differentiate their activity status. In Korea, especially in Busan, longlining is practiced by many small fishing vessels to catch several types of fishes that need to be identified for proper monitoring. Therefore, in this study we have improved the existing fishing status classification method by applying Hidden Markov Model (HMM) on V-Pass data in order to further classify their fishing status into three groups, viz. non-fishing, longlining and other types of fishing. Data from 206 fishing vessels at Busan on 05 February, 2021 were used for this purpose. Two tiered HMM was applied that first differentiates non-fishing status from the fishing status, and finally classifies that fishing status into longlining and other types of fishing. Data from 193 and 13 ships were used as training and test datasets, respectively. Using this model 90.45% accuracy in classifying into fishing and non-fishing status and 88.23% overall accuracy in classifying all into three types of fishing statuses were achieved. Thus, this method is recommended for monitoring the activities of small fishing vessels equipped with V-Pass, especially for detecting longlining.

회전하는 냉각유로의 곡관부에 부착된 가이드 베인의 형상 최적설계 (Shape Optimization of a Rotating Two-Pass Duct with a Guide Vane in the Turning Region)

  • The heat transfer and pressure loss characteristics of a rotating two-pass channel with a guide vane in the turning region have been studied using three-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) analysis, and the shape of the guide vane has been optimized using surrogate modeling optimization technique. For the optimization, thickness, location and angle of the guide vanes have been selected as design variables. The objective function has been defined as a linear combination of the heat transfer and the friction loss related terms with a weighting factor. Latin hypercube sampling has been applied to determine the design points as design of experiments. A weighted-average surrogate model, PBA has been used as the surrogate model. The guide vane in the turning region does not influence the heat transfer in the first passage upstream of the turning region, but enhances largely the heat transfer in the turning region and the second passage. In an example of the optimization, the objective function has been increased by 13.6%.

컴퓨터 수치제어 선반에서의 진원통도 보상제어 (Compensatory cylindricity control of the C.N.C. turing process)

  • 본 연구에서는 현장에서 흔히 수행되는 가공 후(post-process) 측정만을 이용 한 단일절삭(single-pass)으로써 공작물이 원하는 일정한 직경을 유지할 수 있다는 것 을 실험을 통해 검증해 보이고자 한다. 이와 같은 방식은 이미 보오링 작업 중 보오 링바의 노출 길이 변화에 따른 가공면의 내경 오차를 없애주기 위한 방법으로써 제시 된 바 있다. 즉 반복 최소 자승법(recursive least squares)으로 미리 가정된 절삭 조건과 공작물 처짐 사이의 관계식과 관련된 계수를 가공 후에 가공 공작물의 표면 측 정으로 매 번보정(update)시켜 줌으로써 일정 직경을 얻기위한 절삭조건을 결정하고자 한다.

양방향 모델을 적용한 Full-image Guided Filter의 효율적인 VLSI 구조 (Efficient VLSI Architecture of Full-Image Guided Filter Based on Two-Pass Model)

  • Full-image guided filter는 커널 윈도우 영역만 필터링에 반영되는 기존의 커널 윈도우 기반 가이드 필터와 달리 가중치 전파 도식과 양방향 모델이 적용되어 영상의 모든 픽셀이 필터링에 반영된다. 이로써 가이드 필터의 경계 보존과 평활화 등의 가이드 이미지 필터의 특성을 유지하면서도 계산 복잡도를 개선할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 full-image guided filter의 더 빠른 처리가 필요한 스테레오 비전 및 각종 실시간 시스템 분야에 적용될 수 있도록 효율적인 하드웨어 구조를 제안하였다. 필터링 프로세스에서 발생하는 각종 데이터의 종속성 분석과 영상의 PSNR 분석, 데이터 빈도 분석 등을 통하여 적합한 하드웨어 구조를 제안하였다. 또한 양방향 모델이 적용된 가중치 연산 모듈의 휴식 구간이 최소화되도록 효율적인 스케줄링을 하였고 실시간 처리가 가능하게 하였다. 제안한 하드웨어 구조는 동부하이텍 0.11um 표준셀 라이브러리로 합성하였을 경우 최대 동작주파수 214MHz(384*288 영상: 965 fps)와 76K(내부 메모리 제외) 게이트의 하드웨어 복잡도를 나타냈다.
