A $JB^{*}-triple$ is a Banach space A on which the group Aut(B) of biholomorphic automorphisms acts transitively on the open unit ball B of A. In this case, a triple product {$\cdots$} from $A\;\times\;A\;\times\;A\;to\;A$ can be defined in a canonical way. If A is also the dual of some Banach space $A_{*}$, then A is said to be a JBW triple. A projection R on A is said to be structural if the identity {Ra, b, Rc} = R{a, Rb, c, }holds. On $JBW^{*}-triples$, structural projections being algebraic objects by definition have also some interesting metric properties, and it is possible to give a full characterization of structural projections in terms of the norm of the predual $A_{*}$ of A. It is shown, that the class of structural projections on A coincides with the class of the adjoints of neutral GL-projections on $A_{*}$. Furthermore, the class of GL-projections on $A_{*}$ is naturally ordered and is completely ortho-additive with respect to L-orthogonality.

Let ${\mathcal{A}}$ and ${\mathcal{B}}$ be two operator ${\ast}$-rings such that ${\mathcal{A}}$ is prime. In this paper, we show that if the map ${\Phi}:{\mathcal{A}}{\rightarrow}{\mathcal{B}}$ is bijective and preserves Jordan or ${\ast}$-Jordan triple product, then it is additive. Moreover, if ${\Phi}$ preserves Jordan triple product, we prove the multiplicativity or anti-multiplicativity of ${\Phi}$. Finally, we show that if ${\mathcal{A}}$ and ${\mathcal{B}}$ are two prime operator ${\ast}$-algebras, ${\Psi}:{\mathcal{A}}{\rightarrow}{\mathcal{B}}$ is bijective and preserves ${\ast}$-Jordan triple product, then ${\Psi}$ is a ${\mathbb{C}}$-linear or conjugate ${\mathbb{C}}$-linear ${\ast}$-isomorphism.

An efficient adaptive scheme based on a triple mixed quadrature rule of precision nine for approximate evaluation of line integral of analytic functions has been constructed. At first, a mixed quadrature rule SM₁(f) has been formed using Gauss-Legendre three point transformed rule and five point Booles transformed rule. A suitable linear combination of the resulting rule and Clenshaw-Curtis seven point rule gives a new mixed quadrature rule SM₁₀(f). This mixed rule is termed as triple mixed quadrature rule. An adaptive quadrature scheme is designed. Some test integrals having analytic function integrands have been evaluated using the triple mixed rule and its constituent rules in non-adaptive mode. The same set of test integrals have been evaluated using those rules as base rules in the adaptive scheme. The triple mixed rule based adaptive scheme is found to be the most effective.

Semivolatile components in mainstream smoke of cigarette attached the different type filter were analysed. Based on the main peak of GC profile, benzene, toluene, acetic acid, limonene, acetamide, pyridine, nicotine, phenol, pyrrole, and furfuryl alcohol were identified. The amount delivered of semivolatile components by each filter was evaluated with the ratio of areas of sample vs area% of ISTD. By comparing dual and triple filter to mono filter, the delivery amounts were 52% benzene, 62% toluene and 74% benzene, 84% toluene, respectively. The delivery amount of limonene which was known of tobacco taste component, were 52%, and 93% by dual and triple filter, respectively. Also, delivery amounts of acetic acid which was one of acidic compounds in smoke, were 86% and 83% by dual and triple filter, respectively. When adding the same amount of active carbon, the amounts delivered of vapour phase such as benzene and toluene by dual filter were lower than that of triple filter. But the delivery amounts of acetic acid and phenol by dual filter were higher than that of triple filter. This results assume that the pH of active carbon in filter affect to the adsorption or absorption of triacetin during filter making process.

An optical parallel modified signed-digit(MSD) number adder system is proposed by using triple rail-coding input patterns and serial arrangement method of symbolic substitution. By combing overlapped arithmetic results. which are produced by encoding MSD input as triple rail-coding patterns. into the same patterns, symbolic substitution rules are reduced and also by using serialized and space-shifted input patterns in optical experiments, the optical adder without space-shifting operation, NOR operation and threshold operation is implemented.

As expansion of balconies at apartments has been legalized, the major function of the balconies as a thermal buffer zone is disappearing. This weakens the ability of window to insulate heat and multiplies surface condensation. Thus more and more residents require solutions to increasing surface condensation and aggravation in thermal comfort. This study intends to provide basic data by evaluating performance of triple layered Low-E windows, triple layered clear windows, double layered Low-E windows and double layered clear window used for expanded balconies and marketed within the country in terms of surface condensation and thermal environment through simulation. Results revealed that no surface condensation occurred at double layered Low-E windows and triple layered Low-E windows. Surface condensation took place at double layered clear windows and triple layered clear windows at a relative humidity of 60%. Thermal environment analysis suggested that double layered clear windows showed the most time falling into the range of comfort at $23^{\circ}C$. The figure were $22^{\circ}C$ for triple layered clear windows, $22^{\circ}C$ for double layered Low-E windows and $21^{\circ}C$ for triple layered Low-E windows.

Background: Helicobacter pylori plays an important role in gastric cancer and typical eradication regimens are no longer effective in many countries, including Thailand. The aim of our study was to compare the effect of Lactobacillus delbrueckii and Streptococcus thermophillus on tailored triple therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication. Materials and Methods: This prospective single-center study was conducted in Thailand. Helicobacter pylori associated gastritis patients were randomized to 2 groups: group 1 (n=100) was tailored triple therapy with placebo (esomeprazole 20 mg bid, clarithromycin 500 mg bid or metronidazole 400 mg tid if clarithromycin resistance and amoxicillin 1000 mg bid), and group 2 was tailored triple therapy plus pretreatment with probiotic containing yogurt. Successful eradication was defined as both negative histology and negative rapid urease test at four weeks after treatment. Results: A total of 200 infected patients were enrolled. PP analysis involved 194 patients: 96 in the tailored triple therapy with placebo group (group 1) and 98 the in tailored triple therapy plus pretreatment with probiotic containing yogurt group (group 2). Successful eradication was observed in 170 (87.6%) patients; by PP analysis, the eradication rate was significantly higher in group 2 (P = 0.04, 95%CI; 0.02-0.13) than in group 1. ITT analysis also showed that the value was significantly higher in the tailored triple threapy plus pretreatment with probiotic containing yogurt group (group 2) (89/100; 89%) than in the tailored triple therapy with placebo group (group 1) (P= 0.01, 95%CI; 0.04-0.15). In terms of adverse events, there was no significant difference between the two groups. Conclusions: Pretreatment with probiotic containing yogurt can improve Helicobacter pylori eradication rates with tailored triple therapy. Adding probiotics does not reduce adverse effects of the medication.

The purpose of this study is to find the effects of triple helix model on the firm innovation, especially focused on the moderating effects of trust in Daegu Gyeongbuk. There are two ways of triple helix interactions in Korea. One is a traditional triple helix interaction in which entrepreneurial universities have a central role. As the other way, such 3rd-sector type organizations as technoparks have a important role in facilitating the triple helix interactions. We collected data from 231 firms located in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region. According to the findings, firstly, 3rd-sector type organizations such as technoparks have a positive(+) effect on the firm innovation. But a traditional triple helix interaction has not. Secondly, a 3rd-sector type support has much more positive(+) effects on the firm innovation than a traditional triple helix interaction. Thirdly, the trust has a positive(+) moderating effect on the firm innovation in the two-type of the triple helix interactions. In the conclusion, research implication, limitation of this study, and future directions are suggested.

Triple points of high purity materials have been used to calibrate primarily the capsule-type platinum resistance thermometer (PRT) in the temperature range of the triple point of equilibrium hydrogen (13.8033 K) and water (273.16 K). In this work, triple points of Ne, $O_2$, Ar, Hg and $H_2O$ except for the triple point of equilibrium hydrogen were realized to establish the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90). At each fixed point, two capsule-type PRTs, which were selected for the international comparison, were tested two times. The combined uncertainties of the realization of each triple point were calculated considering the type A and type B evaluation. In Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science, the combined standard uncertainties of the defining triple Points by the ITS-90 were estimated to about 0.18 mK for Ne, 0.14 mK for $O_2$, 0.14 mK for Ar, 0.24 mK for Hg and 0.11 mK for $H_2O$, respectively.

The Resource Description Framework(RDF), which emerged with the semantic web, is settling down as a standard for representing information about the resources in the World Wide Web Hence, a lot of research on storing and query processing RDF documents has been done and several RDF storage systems, such as Sesame and Jena, have been developed. But the research on updating RDF documents is still insufficient. When a RDF document is changed, data in the RDF triple store also needs to be updated. However, current RDF triple stores don't support incremental update. So updating can be peformed only by deleting the old version and then storing the new document. This updating method is very inefficient because RDF documents are steadily updated. Furthermore, it makes worse when several RDF documents are stored in the same database. In this paper, we propose an incremental update algorithm on RDF, documents in triple stores. We use a text matching technique for two versions of a RDF document and compensate for the text matching result to find the right target triples to be updated. We show that our approach efficiently update RDF documents through experiments with real-life RDF datasets.
