  • We prove the Hyers-Ulam stability for trigonometric type functional inequalities in restricted domains with time variables. As consequences of the result we obtain asymptotic behaviors of the inequalities and stability of related functional inequalities in almost everywhere sense.

  • In this article we continue the study of smooth Picard singular integral operators that started in [2], see there chapters 10-14. This time the foundation of our research is a trigonometric Taylor's formula. We establish the convergence of our operators to the unit operator with rates via Jackson type inequalities engaging the first modulus of continuity. Of interest here is a residual appearing term. Note that our operators are not positive. Our results are pointwise and uniform.

  • We disprove a conjecture of Bombieri regarding univalent functions in the unit disk in some previously unknown cases. The key step in the argument is showing that the global minimum of the real function (n sin x - sin(nx))/(m sin x - sin(mx)) is attained at x = 0 for integers m > $n{\geq}2$ when m is odd and n is even, m is sufficiently big and $0.5{\leq}n/m{\leq}0.8194$.
