현재 우리나라는 서울, 부산 등 광역도시와 19개 신도시, 9개의 혁신도시 등 전국 총 53개 지역 지구에서 u-City를 계획 추진 중에 있고, 국토해양부의 VC-10과제 중 일부에서 u-GIS기술 개발이 한창이다. 실시간 데이터를 다루는 u-GIS기술은 앞으로 u-City구축의 핵심기술이 될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 u-City의 본질적인 의미를 다시 생각해 보고, u-GIS기술의 발전방향을 u-City의 관점에서 고찰하였다.

Papers about Tang Zonghai are mostly appeared in journals, published in his home town, Sichuan. Studies are focused on his medical conception of Blood syndrome. They try to explain Tang's medical conception and local experiences by quoting the text from "Hyuljeungron", Blood syndrome essay. This trend is very different from study methods carried out in Korea.

최근 들어 급속한 전파 이용 기술의 발전과 인터넷, PC 보급률의 증가 등의 요인으로 인하여 전파이용량이 증가되는 등 전파의 수요가 급증하고 있으며 이로인한 인접국가간의 전파간섭사례가 증가하고 있다. 이에 대하여 이 연구에서는 우리나라의 국제전파감시체제를 분석하여 3가지의 개선방안을 제시하였다.

This paper introduces a computer program ARAP, explaining how it automatically analyzes and evaluates academic research articles and books. It also shows how ARAP can help trace the trend of a certain theory by reviewing existing publications. As an illustration, ARAP is used to review Korean linguistic publications in order to show how Western semantic theories have influenced semantic studies in Korea.

This paper is to study dynamics of populations of religions. As human population is a crucial source of social dynamics, the religious population is a driving force that changes political and cultural landscape of society. Although many christian scholars have reported important causal factors in changing population of christian world, there are few studies on the dynamics of religious population in system dynamics. This paper interprets these dynamic mechanisms in terms of feedback loops and constructs a basic system dynamic model to forecast future trend of religious population in Korean society.

In Korea, the number of railroad accidents is decreasing, but the scale of railroad accidents tend to be growing large. On considering the opening of the high speed railway in 2004, the problem of railroad safety is very important. The purpose of this study is to make plans for improving railroad safety of Korea. To make this plan, we generally analyzed the future railway traffic, and reviewed annual statistics of railroad accidents trend and case studies of foreign railway accidents.

Due to its increased importance, outdoor lighting has been installed even for residental area. For the most part, more outdoor lightings are being installed for those houses designed to accommodate people since 2000. On this respect, quantitative analysis is conducted after finding the cases of outdoor lighting installed for residental area until nu. The cases of 24 residental areas we investigated to find the specific feature of outdoor lightings. This type of design analysis will serve as an attempt to set the stage for future studies.
