  • This research considered that the significance of the NT(Nano Technology) which gradually increased the importance of it and investigated the technology development current situation of the Korea, U.S.A, Japanese, Europe. Therefore, in domestic and foreign, this research was widely used.   • The design functionality put forward by mapping the interactiveness of information. The presentation of such information with the user interface model indicates that the guidelines, concepts, and workflows form the deliverables and milestones for achieving a visualized design, therefore forming the right trend is significant to ensure compliance in terms of changing consideration and applying evaluation in the early stages. It is evidenced that prototype design is guided by improvement specifications, includes modes, and variables that increase improvements. The study presents five user interface testing methods. The testing methods are heuristic evaluation, perspective-based user interface testing, cognitive walkthrough, pluralistic walkthrough, and formal usability inspection. It appears that the five testing methods can be combined and matched to produce reasonable results. At last, the study presents different mobile application designs for student projects besides the evaluation of mobile application designs to consider the user needs and usability.

  • Recent trend of increasing automated factories needs supply of high quality power from the utilities. Among the items of the power quality, voltage sag can be compensated by Dynamic Voltage Restorer(DVR). The key feature of the DVR is high response with less transient period to recover from the voltage sag due to the lightning or line-to-ground faults. In this paper we report that H controller is very premising for the practical application to the controller of DVR. Experiment al results shown in this paper was obtained by applying the control algorithm to 20 kVA DVR system.   • Covid-19 is rapidly changing the global society. In particular, as the online connected world has become more important in recent years, new communication methods such as VR, AR, and metaverse have emerged as global trends. As social interest in technologies such as metaverse, blockchain, and NFT continues to grow, this study aims to understand the concept of NFT, which is being illuminated as a global trend keyword, and to examine the current status of the global fashion industry. As a result of examining NFT application cases of fashion brands that have grown rapidly since Covid-19, the use of NFT in the global fashion industry can be largely classified into three categories - Collection and Investment Type, Game Type NFT, Marketing and Event Type NFT. Based on this, We expect that this study will be used as basic data to actively utilize NFT, which is still in its infancy, to prepare a plan to revitalize the domestic fashion industry.

  • The trend in construction industry, now, lies in improving efficiency and competitive power in construction management and on-the-spot instruction by combining with new IT technology. Above all, it is safe to say that the application of RFID technology can play a pivotal role at this point, but it is not that easy to apply RFID due to the physical, chemical and environmental peculiarities of construction materials. Thus, a study on the standardization of the usable frequency, specifications, protocol, and package administration is required. This study, as part of the study on the standardization, figured out the restrictions by attaching the existing RFID Tag to the construction materials, turned out the prototype of RFID Tag to perform a field test. In result the effective recognition range varies according to the physical and environmental peculiarities of construction materials; and the management efficiency varies as the attaching method and/or applying method. To analyze the management method (media, process etc.) systematically for the existing construction materials; to prepare more various restrictions and its solutions for practical construction spots will be the key for successful RFID implementation.

  • Along with the increase of the quantity of data in various industries, the construction industry has also developed various systems focusing on collecting data related to the construction performance such as productivity and costs achieved in construction job sites. Numerous researchers worldwide have been focusing on developing efficient methodologies to analyze such data. However, applications of such methodologies have shown serious limitations on practical applications due to lack of data and difficulty in finding appropriate analytic methodologies which were capable of implementing significant insights. With development of information technology, the new trend in analytic methodologies has been introduced and steeply developed with the new name of "big data analysis" in various fields in academia and industry. The new concept of big data can be applied for significant analysis on various formats of construction data such as structured, semi-structured, or non-structured formats. This study investigates preliminary application methods based on data collected from actual construction site. This preliminary investigation in this study expects to assess fundamental feasibility of big data analytic applications in construction.

Research on the Application of Gamification in Fitness App Based on Kano Model

  • In recent years, public attention to health and wellness issues has increased. The integration of smart fitness hardware and innovative technologies have made the development of smart fitness a trend. The number of fitness applications in the market has surged, and demand for an optimal experience is increasingly high. This study selects Sweatcoin, Home Workout, Six Pack in 30 Days, and Fitness Coach & Diet as research subjects from the top ten global mobile health and fitness apps in 2022 based on download rankings. The research is based on eight gamification elements: motivation, challenge, achievement, relationships, sharing, reward, level, and competition, identified through preliminary studies. We distributed a total of 166 questionnaires to users and collected 163 valid responses for data analysis. The Kano Model was used to study the desires of fitness enthusiasts using fitness apps. To reduce the limitations of the research results, the Better-Worse Method was employed for satisfaction index analysis. Based on the final analysis, we propose suggestions for improvement for the four fitness apps to better meet user needs and create a more attractive and efficient application experience.

  • The Japanese government has announced that it would invest 30 billion yen in iPS cell research for the next 10 year, and the Japan National Assembly has made an act that supports the iPS cell research. This study analyzes 1) the current trend and application field of stem cell research under Japan; 2) recent policy and regulation change in stem cell research and its application under Japan. This treatise reviews about "Act for Promoting Regenerative Medicine", "Act for Assuring Safety of Regenerative Medicine", and "the Revision of Pharmaceutical Act under Japan. This study may serve as the fundamental reference for the improvements of legal and institutional systems with regard to regulations on the stem cell research under Korea.

  • This research analyzed the expression trend about the slit which composes the open space by the visual concept and then introduced the imbedded aesthetic value in it. Based on it, this work aims at showing the evidence on the slit as a utilizing tool for various design applications and providing the basic materials in order to develop the creative design production in the fashion area in the future. Specifically, for the theoretical background in this research, the concept of slit and its chronological changes were reviewed through literature. For the empirical analysis on the slit, a total of 226 designs with its application were analyzed from collection pieces in the four major collections including Paris, Milan, New York, and London from 2006S/S to 2012S/S. As a result of analysis, types of slit appeared as a slash, opening, slit, or a mix of them. These were applied to many different items of clothing, and among which, one-piece or dress was adopted most for application. In regard to space form, perpendicularity was used most frequently. But other various forms like cross and geometrical pattern were also used as well as curve, oblique line and horizontality. As to the arrangement of slit, single type was most frequently used. However, in addition to it, other types were also applied, producing both the functionality and the decorative detail such as bilateral symmetry, free irregularity, and a combination of regular and repeated layout which makes an effect of single pattern. Aesthetic values imbedded in slit were revealed as functionality, sensuality, spatiality, and decorativeness.
