Analysis of the Travel Distance in the Multiple-load Carrying Automated Guided Vehicle Systems (다부하를 운반하는 무인운반차시스템에서 운반거리의 분석)

  • This paper is to analyze the travel distance and the transport size of the vehicle when the AGV carries multiple-load in the tandem automated guided vehicle systems. The size of multiple-load represents the number of load that the AGV can carry simultaneously. The AGV can carry simultaneously multiple-load that load types are different. The transport system of the manufacturing system is a tandem configuration automated guided vehicle system, which is based on the partitioning of all the stations into several non-overlapping single closed loops. Each loop divided has only one vehicle traveling unidirectionally around it. The AGV of each loop has to have sufficient transport capacity that can carry all loads for given unit time. In this paper, the average loaded travel distance and the size of feasible multiple-load of the vehicle are analyzed. A numerical example is shown.

  • In this paper a study on the reduction method of ground vibration by a french is carried out. The transmitted load into the ground which induces the ground vibration is computed through a study on the interaction between tilting car and the line. This load is applied into the numerical model which is one for a study on the reduction method of ground vibration by a trench. Then the numerical results is compared with the experimental results conducted in the previous study.

  • To show a retina shape and thickness on the computer monitor, a laser has been used in Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope(SLO) equipment using the traveling difference. This method requires exact synchronous control of laser traveling in optic system to show a clear 3-dimensional image of retina To obtain this image, this exact synchronism is very important for making the perfect plane scanning. In this study, a high speed and synchronous control of the galvanometer to make 3-dimensional retina image is presented. For the more, deadbeat load torque observer is added to the PI controller for compensation of the position error arisen in the high speed control. As a result, the proposed control system has a robust and precise response against the load torque variation appeared in high speed control. A stability and usefulness are verified by the computer simulation and the experiment.

  • A new technique is proposed for suppressing sidelobes due to the wave reflected from the waveguide end in the traveling-wave slot array. In this approach we use multiple waveguide steps intend of the conventional matched load, To show the validity of the proposed method, a Ku-band slotted waveguide is fabricated and tested. Measurements confirm the excellent sidelobe suppressing capability of the proposed method.

  • We present a simple design method of velocity-matched traveling-wave (TW) electrode with periodic capacitive loads. Once matching impedance and optical phase velocity are defined, the width and separation of coplanarstrip (CPS) and the magnitude and period of capacitive load are determined analytically. Calculation results of velocity-matched TW electrodes on GaAs substrates show bandwidths of more than 100 GHz.

  • In this paper a study on the characteristics and the reduction method for the ground vibration due to traveling tilting car is carried out. The transmitted load which induces the ground vibration is computed through a study oil the interaction between tilting car and the line. Then, this lead is applied into the numerical model, which is not only designed considering the diverse ground conditions hut also verified by the ultrasonic experiment. Through the numerical analysis according to the conditions, the characteristics and the reduction method for the ground vibration by tilting car are studied.

  • The object of this study is to ensure the stability of flat freight cars using vibration performance test and static load test of body structures. We examined the flat car though static load test and dynamic characteristics analysis related traveling stability and vibration performance. In the results of static load test of body structures for flat car, all structures satisfied allowable stress of materials. The vibration performance test was satisfied with allowable standards. Although flat car exceed speed a little at some speed interval, it was estimated that the cause was not cars but rail.

  • Due to the fact that the design of a reinforced concrete structure changes in accordance with its shape and assigned load, total automation of the design system has not been achieved. For instance, since there is no general rule about setting up reinforcing steel quantity and arrangement location, it is simply not feasible to automatically decide the reinforcing arrangement location. In this study, the ESO(evolutionary structural optimization) technique and its related issues will be discussed. The ESO techniques is determined the reasonable load path which is traveling of load between in-flow and out-flow at a concrete structure using numerical analysis. And the results applied to the steel arrangement in reinforced concrete structures. The optimal algorithm, which determines the terminal criteria during ESO process, has been updated by using the obtained results. And the load path within the member has been determined automatically.

  • In the braking process of rolling stocks, the equivalent braking force is applied to the all bogies. However, the load applied to the front and rear bogie are different in the actual commercial traveling. In the case, since the different slip situation is occurred in each bogie, it is essential to use the independent anti-slip control per bogie unit in order to reduce the loss of braking force. In this paper, the algorithm about bogie unit braking is proposed and verified.
