  • A significant amount of labor hour is being spent for clean up spent abrasives after blasting. So, for improving the efficiency of abrasive(grit) recovery process which acts as the neck of a battle in preceding coating stage, it was established the theoretical background for pneumatic transport technology in the abrasive recovery system as well as experimentally evaluated the effect of design parameters such as flow pattern, saltation velocity and pressure drop on the efficiency of the abrasive recovery system. And, by optimizing the operating parameter such as the length and diameter of suction hose, specification of recovery device, recovery mouth and hose connection method, a method which can dramatical1y increase the efficiency of abrasive recovery system, is derived.

  • One of the major objectives of a transportation study is to provide the transportation networks for future years in order to accommodate the projected transport demand for the movement of passengers and goods utilizing the optimum "mix" of modes. To achieve this goal, the planning process starts with collection and analysis of data to determine the existing traffic demand and travel pattern, and to assign the future trip interchanges on th existing and planned networks to determine areas of improvements so that it can cope with increasing future traval demand. The purpose of this paper attempts to explain the public transport network formulation techniques which can be easily applied to the large urban area multi modal public transport system.

Polyvinylalcohol에 고정화한 시금치 엽록체의 광합성특성에 대한 연구 (Photosynthetic Characteristics of Polyvinylalcohol-Immobilized Spinach Chloroplasts)

  • Photoxynthetic properties of polyvinylalcohol (PVA)-immobilized chloroplast especially regarded to stability of photosynthetic electron transport and the fluorescence induction pattern were studied. When isolated spinach chloroplasts were immobilized with PVA, it showed good preservation of photosynthetic electron transport activity, especially PS II activity, during storage at -15$^{\circ}C$, 4$^{\circ}C$ and 2$0^{\circ}C$. And immobilized chloroplasts revealed similar thermostability of whole chain electron transport to free chloroplsts. And the absorption peak of red band of chloroplasts showed the blue-shift of 2-4 nm after immobilization. Fv/Fm ratio of chlorophyll fluorescence slightly decreased after immobilization. White light pulse after continuous light do not induced the additional fluorescence rise. This means chlorophyll fluorescence at room temperature reached to Fmax under continuous light in the immobilized chloroplasts. It seems that PVA may be a good candidate for immobilization matrix for the preservation of photosynthetic function of thylakoids and for the continuous use of chloroplast membranes of higher plants for solar energy storage and conversion.

산업내 무역과 해외직접투자의 관계 : 한.중간 기계 및 운수장비 산업을 중심으로 (The Relationship between Intra-Industry Trade and FDI: A Case of Machinery and Transport Equipment Trade between Korea and China)

  • This study presents the pattern and determinants of intra-industry trade in Korea's machinery and transport equipment industry focusing the influence of foreign direct investment on intra-industry trade. Using an OLS regression model the determinants of intra-industry trade are investigated. Results indicate that a statistically significant negative relationship is found between intra-industry trade and foreign direct investment, and show that intra-industry trade is positively affected by the degree of product differentiation and export structure similarity. Intra-industry trade is also positively associated with the economies of scale, the level of trade barrier, and transportation costs, although this is not statistically significant. The study found strong evidence that the propensity of foreign direct investment toward export specialized industry makes the negative relationship between intra-industry trade and foreign direct investment.

기생 패치 면을 갖는 이중 대 역 원형 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나 (Dual-Band Circle Microstrip Patch Antenna with Parasitic Patch)

  • 본 논문에서는 기생 패치를 이용하여 위성 DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) 와 ITS (Intelligent Transport System) 서비스를 동시에 수신할 수 있는 이중 대역 안테나의 구조를 제안하고, 실제 제작을 통하여 성능을 확인하였다. 제작한 이중 모드 안테나는 위성 DMB 수신안테나와 ITS 수신안테나가 각각 약 380 MHz 와 600 MHz 의 -10 dB 대역폭을 갖고, 최소 반사 손실은 약 -27 dB 와 -17 dB 로 측정되었으며, 이는 시뮬레이션 결과와 잘 일치하였다. 위성 DMB 수신안테나의 경우, 중심 주파수 2.6 GHz 에서 수평면에서는 무지향성을 갖고 수직면에서는 ${\theta}$$45^{\circ}$일 때 최대 이득 약 4.2 dBi 를 갖는 원추형 방사 패턴을 가졌다. ITS 수신안테나의 경우에는 중심 주파수 5.8 GHz 에서 ${\theta}$$0^{\circ}$일 때 최대 이득 약 6.4 dBi를 갖는 지향성 방사 패턴을 가졌다.

의사결정나무 기법을 적용한 DSRC 통행속도패턴 분류방안 (Study on the Classification Methodology for DSRC Travel Speed Patterns Using Decision Trees)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 DSRC 기반 통행속도 이력데이터를 활용하여 IC-IC 구간 단위의 통행패턴을 도출하는 것이며, 이를 통해 방대한 이력정보 데이터의 활용도를 높이고, 단순하지만 정확성 높은 방법으로 도로의 통행패턴을 용이하게 파악할 수 있게 하는 것이다. 통행패턴 분류는 의사결정나무 기법을 적용하였고, 월 시간대 구간 단위로 분리된 통행패턴을 생성하여 시 공간이 변화되어도 이에 대응 가능하도록 하였다. 경부고속도로 서울TG~안성IC 구간을 대상으로 의사결정나무 기법을 적용한 결과, 요일 기준으로 (월)(화 수 목)(금)(토)(일) 5개 그룹으로 고정 통행패턴이 분류되었다. 분류 결과를 영동, 중부, 중부내륙 고속도로의 9개 구간에 적용하여 통계적 검증을 수행한 결과 약 93%의 적합도를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 의사결정나무를 통한 통행패턴 오차를 개선하기 위하여 4개의 추가변수를 도입한 결과, "직전월의 소통상황"을 설명변수로 추가할 경우 통행속도 분산이 약 50% 감소함을 확인하였고, 실제 상황에 적용할 경우 소통 원활 시의 오차가 약 4% 감소되었다.

  • 자동차 보급과 교통 시설 발달로 인한 문제에 대응하여, ADAS와 같은 운전 보조 기술이 주목받고 있다. 최근에는 스마트폰 내장 센서를 사용한 운전패턴 분석 방법론이 개발되었다. 이 연구에서는 레이블 없이 대조학습을 통해 운전패턴의 특징을 학습하고 변화점을 감지하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 운전패턴 분류에도 확장 가능하여, 매우 적은 레이블링 데이터만으로 높은 분류 성능을 달성할 수 있음은 물론 적용 차량이 달라지는 도메인 변화 문제에 민감하게 반응하지 않아 일반화된 성능을 달성할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한 본 연구에서는 추후 스마트폰 적용성을 고려하여 6가지 대표적인 경량화 딥러닝 모델에 대해 제안하는 방법을 적용하고 비교분석하여 추후 스마트폰 기반의 시스템 개발에 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

Effects of Sodium Fluoride on the Water Transport in Leaves of Barley and Rice under Salt Stress in the Light

  • The kinetics of the loss of leaf fresh weight during incubation of barley and rice leaves in 9% or 15% NaCl solutions were biphasic, indicating the existence of a controlling mechanism for water transport. The first rapid phases reached their plateaus within 1 and 2 h in the case of rice and barley leaves, respectively. When barley leaves were fed with sodium fluoride, an inhibitor of phosphatase inhibitor, through their epicotyls for 3 h in darkness, prior to the treatment of NaCl, the biphasic pattern shown during NaCl treatment was disappeared resulting in linear decreases in the relative fresh weights. The results suggest that NaF accelerates salt-induced water efflux from plant cells, possibly by inhibiting the protection mechanism that may act in NaF-untreated leaves. The linear water loss can be explained in terms of phosphorylation of aquaporin by blocking its dephosphorylation in the presence of the phosphatase inhibitor to keep aquaporin in a phosphorylated form. However, the effect of NaF shown in barley leaves were not observed in rice. These results suggest that the regulation of water transport depends on plant species, and the mechanism for the controlling water transport in rice is different from that of barley.

Seasonal Variation of Volume Transport through the Straits of the East/Japan Sea Viewed from the Island Rule

  • Among others, a question that has long been unanswered is why the seasonal variation of volume transport is larger in the Soya and Korea/Tsushima Straits than in the Tsugaru Strait. An attempt is made to answer this question in terms of the island rule with friction being taken into account. The problem is idealized as a simple model. The model results indicate that volume transport through a channel is determined not only by the circulation created around the adjacent island but also by those created around the neighboring islands farther away. The latter is due to the presence of bottom friction in the channels. The volume transports through the Korea/Tsushima, Tsugaru and Soya Straits estimated from the model using observed wind data show the general pattern of observed seasonality, although they contain large errors associated with the uncertain frictional parameter employed in the model. The model indicates that the observed seasonality arises essentially from the fact that wind stress curl changes its sign, from negative in the summer to positive in winter, following a large fluctuation of zero-stress curl latitude east of Hokkaido.

동북아시아 대기오염물질의 장거리 이동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Long-Range Transport of Air Pollutans in the North East Asia)

  • Due to the global-convection currents, transboundary transport of air pollutants is widely observed in many regions of the world. This study was carried out to investigate the pattern of long-range transport of air pollutants in North East Asia, especially the impact of air pollutants originated in China and Japan on the air quality in Korea. From the meteorological data at the 850 mb surface from May 1986 through April 1987 at 54 obsevation stations in the North East Asia region, the backward and forward trajectories were calculated using interpolation method. And the contributions of pollution sources in neighbor countries to the air quality in Korea were analyzed. It was concluded that air pollution in China had a great influence on the air quality in Korea throughout the year : it could be transported to Korea just within 2 or 3 days most of the time. The trajectory analysis showed that pollution sources in Beijing. Liaoning Province, and Shandong Province, the most heavily industrialized areas in China., were the most influential for the air quality in Korea except for summer season. Durnig summer season, the air pollution in Shanhai and Japan could have moer influence on Korea. Such transboundary transport of air pollutants necessitate international cowork and cooperation in the region of North East Asia.
