수중용 TAS윈치 전개/회수 성능 안정화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Stabilization of Underwater TAS Winch System Deploy/Recover Operation Performance)

  • 본 논문은 수중용 TAS윈치 전개/회수 성능 안정화 방안에 대한 내용을 서술하고 있다. TAS윈치는 함미에 장착되어 자함과 이격되어 운용되는 센서, 예인케이블 및 꼬리로프의 전개/회수 기능을 수행하고, TAS에 대한 전원공급 경로, 수중환경 정보 및 수신된 음향신호 송/수신을 위한 데이터 전송 경로 제공 역할을 수행한다. TAS윈치 시험평가 과정에서 간헐적으로 TAS 전개 중 멈춤현상 및 회전속도 변동현상이 식별되었다. TAS 전개/회수에 필요한 토크를 제공하는 구성요소인 윈치모터에 대한 고장분석 결과, 구성품 중 회전자의 정렬 틀어짐으로 인한 편심현상에 따른 자기장 왜곡이 발생한 것을 확인하였다. 자기장 왜곡 발생 방지를 위해 윈치모터 회전자 및 슬립링 등 윈치모터 구성품의 고정성 향상 방안을 제안하였다. 제안된 방안에 대한 신뢰성 확보를 위해 LBTS 환경에서 TAS윈치 운용환경을 모사하여 TAS윈치 전개/회수 성능을 검증하였다. 최종적으로 TAS윈치 전개/회수 성능 뿐만 아니라 해상에서 TAS윈치를 운용할 경우 요구되는 함 속력 및 타각별 TAS 지속 운용능력과 같은 여러 가지 항목에 대한 해상 시험평가를 수행함으로써 설계 요구조건 만족 및 제안 방안에 대한 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • 가열 속도, 몰 공간속도, 질화반응온도 등 다양한 실험 조건을 변화하며 바나디움 산화물과 암모니아와의 승온 질화반응을 통하여 바나디움 산화질화물을 제조하여 특성분석을 수행하였으며 제조된 바나디움 산화질화물 상에서 암모니아 분해반응의 촉매 활성을 검토하였다. 제조된 촉매의 물리·화학적 특성을 알아보기 위하여 N2 흡착분석, X-선 회절분석(XRD), 수소 승온환원(H2-TPR), 산소 존재 하 승온산화 (TPO), 암모니아 탈착 (NH3-TPD), 투과전자현미경(TEM) 분석을 수행하였다. 340 ℃에서 5 m2 g-1의 낮은 비표면적을 갖는 V2O5의 환원에 의하여 V2O3 으로의 변환은 미세 기공 형성에 의해 115 m2 g-1 높은 비표면적 값을 보여주었으며 그 이상의 질화반응 온도가 증가함에 따라 소결현상에 의해 지속적인 비표면적의 감소를 초래하였다. 비표면적에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 질화반응 변수는 반응온도였으며, 단일 상의 VNxOy의 x + y 값은 질화반응온도가 증가함에 따라 1.5에서 1.0으로 근접하였으며 680 ℃의 높은 반응온도에서 입방 격자상수 a는 VN 값에 근접하였다. 본 실험 조건 중에 질화반응온도가 가장 높았던 680 ℃에서 암모니아 전환율은 93%로 나타났으며 비활성화는 관찰되지 않았다.

선형열처리를 이용한 Si(100)/Si$_3$N$_4$∥Si (100) 기판쌍의 직접접합 (Direct bonding of Si(100)/Si$_3$N$_4$∥Si (100) wafers using fast linear annealing method)

  • 절연 특성이 기존의 SiO$_2$ 보다 우수한 500 두께의 SiN$_4$층을 두 단결정 실리콘사이의 절연막질로 채택하고 직접접합시켜 직경 10cm의 Si(100) /500 -Si$_3$N$_4$/Si (100) 기판쌍을 제조하였다. p-type (100) 실리콘기판을 친수성, 소수성을 갖도록 습식방법으로 세척한 두 그룹의 시편들을 준비하였다. 기판전면에 LPCVD로 500 $\AA$ 두께의 Si$_3$N$_4$∥Si(100) 기판을 성장시키고 실리론 기판과 고청정상태에서 가접시킨 후, 선형열원의 이동속도를 0.1mm/s로 고정시키고 선형 입열량을 400~1125w 범위에서 변화시키면서 직접접합을 실시하였다. 접합된 기판은 적외선 카메라로 계면 접합면적을 확인하고 razor blade creek opening 측정법으로 세정 방법에 따른 각 기판쌍 그들의 접합강도를 확인하였다. 접합강도가 측정된 기판쌍은 high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM )을 사용하여 수직단면 미세구조를 조사하였다. 입열량의 증가에 따라 두 그를 모두 접합율은 큰 유의차 없이 765% 정도로, 소수성 처리가 된 기판쌍의 접합강도는 1577mJ/$m^2$가지 선형적으로 증가하였으나, 친수성 처리가 된 기판쌍은 주어진 실험 범위에서 입열량의 증가에 따라 큰 변화 없이 2000mj/$m^2$이상의 접합 강도를 보였다 친수성 처리가 된 기판쌍의 수직단면 미세구조를 고분해능 투과전자현미경으로 각인한 결과 모든 시편의 실리콘과 Si$_3$N$_4$사이에 25 $\AA$ 정도의 SiO$_2$ 자연산화막이 존재하여 중간충 역할을 함으로서 기판접합강도를 향상시키는 것으로 판단되었다.

CDMA2000 1X-EVDO망을 이용한 이동형 응급 의료영상 전송시스템의 설계 (The Design of Mobile Medical Image Communication System based on CDMA 1X-EVDO for Emergency Care)

  • 본 연구에서는 병원에서 멀리 떨어진 교통사고, 낙상에 의한 두개골이나 경추, 척추등의 골절을 동반한 심각한 외상이 있거나 기흉등의 육안으로 진단하기 힘든 응급환자에 있어서는, 구급차를 이용하여 후송중이라 하더라도 방사선검사를 하여 전문의로부터 적절한 진단을 받고 응급조치를 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 응급상황에 사용할 수 있도록 CDMA 1X EVDO 방식의 통신망을 기반으로 하는 이동형 의료영상 전송장치의 프로토타입을 구현하고 성능을 평가하는 것이다. 설계된 시스템은 영상을 전송하기 위한 DICOM 영상전송 클라이언트로 노트북 컴퓨터에 CDMA 1X EVDO 방식을 지원하는 셀룰러폰을 연결하였으며, 병원에는 영상을 받기 위한 DICOM 영상수신 서버를 설치하였다. DR영상을 영상전송 클라이언트의 저장소에 저장한 후, JPEG2000형식으로 압축하여 수신서버로 전송하였다. 모든 영상은 progressive하게 전송되어지고 디스플레이에 표시되었다. 영상의 질을 평가하기 위하여 PSNR을 계산하였으며, 전송품질을 측정하기 위하여 차량의 속도에 따른 CDMA2000 1X-EVDO의 전송률 및 영상의 전송속도를 측정하였다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. The frame and leaflet of the polymer valve were made from polyurethane, To evaluate the hemodynamic performance of the polymer valve a comparative study of flow dynamics past a polymer valve and a St. Jude Medical prosthetic valve under physiological pulsatile flow conditions in vitro was made. Comparisons between the valves were made on the transvalvular pressure drop, regurgitation volume and maximum valve opening area. The polymer valve showed smaller regurgitation volume and transvalvular pressure drop compared to the mechanical valve at higher heart rate. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made. We propose a new image reconstruction method using internal current density data measured by NMR. We obtained a two-dimensional current density distribution within a phantom by processing the real and imaginary MR images from a 4.77 NMR machine. We implemented a resistivity mage reconstruction algorithm using the finite element method and sensitivity matrix. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury.
