In this paper, the possibility and necessity of the digital broadcasting propulsion in AM and FM is presented based on DRM and DRM+ transmission modes, They are the members of series technological family in digital radio development. As the frequency utilization, the application of DRM+ is flexible in any mode such as IN-BAND or OUT-OF-BAND. When the digital audio broadcasting is planned at LOW-VHF bandwidth such as TV channel No.5 and NO.6 being adjacent to FM band and OUT-Of-BAND DRM+ technology is applied, there is no collision and jamming. Particularly, in the IN-BAND Hybrid mode, it is mentioned that there was the difficulty problem for multiple SFN transmitters uses. Not like the IN-BAND mode the OUT-OF-BAND mode lets multiple transmitters, because neighbor transmitters do not interfere each other. Digital transmitter can be combined with the existing FM transmitter. The intensity of power and size of area can be easily determined according to local broadcasters' condition. And the OUT-OF-BAND mode is advantageous for AM/FM integration in digital radio receiver manufacturing, which makes the conversion schedule much shorter.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to introduce the Chuna Manual Therapy (CMT) using Bong (a type of stick which is called 'bong') as a part of Oriental Medicine. Methods : We searched several traditional methods of CMT using Bong, either individual contact to specialist of CMT using Bong or referred to publications, and summarized briefly for introduction. Authors also made a comparative study between existing CMT and CMT using the bong. Results & Conclusions : The indications of Bong CMT are regarded as acute or chronic pain syndrome, whiplash associated disorders, facet syndrome, vertebral misalignment, chronic fatigue syndrome, obesity and also lower extremity length difference caused by malalignment of vertebrae and pelvic bone. The Meridian Muscle Therapy by pressing down using the Bong can be carried out on the imbalances of the muscle by shortening and lengthening contraction. CMT with Bong is considered more effective than other existing CMT in terms of effectiveness. In the case of pelvic correction which needs a tremendous amount of force, it can reduce the force required effectively. This fact can be inferred by the theory of composition and decomposition of force during the transmission of power. We can perform Bong CMT feeling less fatigued subsequently than general CMT. Pressing down with flexed fingers to grip bong acts on the contraction of flexor digiti and extensor digiti muscle, this protects the $doctor^{\circ}{\emptyset}s$ wrist joints from injury. The bong which acts as a tool between the doctor and the patient, while being given treatment, absorbs and spreads out the direct impact from the patient to the doctor. CMT with Bong is able to apply to both existing massage therapies with the hand. The bong appliance can be used in all applications, particularly, but not limited to; Orthopedic and Manual Correction Therapy, Meridian Muscle Pressing, Exercise Therapy, and Meridian Point Manual Pressing Therapy. CMT with Bong belongs to the category of oriental rehabilitation and Chuna manual medicine.

The vehicle interior noise caused by exterior fluid flow field is one of critical issues for product developers in a design stage. Especially, turbulence and vortex flow around A-pillar and side mirror affect vehicle interior noise through a side window. The reliable numerical prediction of the noise in a vehicle cabin due to exterior flow requires distinguishing between the aerodynamic (incompressible) and the acoustic (compressible) surface pressures as well as accurate computation of surface pressure due to this flow, since the transmission characteristics of incompressible and compressible pressure waves are quite different from each other. In this paper, effective signal processing technique is proposed to separate them. First, the exterior flow field is computed by applying computational aeroacoustics techniques based on the Lattice Boltzmann method. Then, the wavenumber-frequency analysis is performed for the time-space pressure signals in order to characterize pressure fluctuations on the surface of a vehicle side window. The wavenumber-frequency diagrams of the power spectral density shows clearly two distinct regions corresponding to the hydrodynamic and the acoustic components of the surface pressure fluctuations. Lastly, decomposition of surface pressure fluctuation into incompressible and compressible ones is successfully accomplished by taking the inverse Fourier transform on the wavenumber-frequency diagrams.

Because a hydraulic actuator has high power and force densities, this allows the weight of the robot's limbs to be reduced. This allows for good dynamic characteristics and high energy efficiency. Thus, hydraulic actuators are used in some exoskeleton robots and quadrupedal robots that require high torque. Force control is useful for robot compliance with a user or environment. However, force control of a hydraulic robot is difficult because a hydraulic servo system is highly nonlinear from a control perspective. In this study, a nonlinear model was used to develop a simulation program for a hydraulic servo system consisting of a servo valve, transmission lines, and a cylinder. The problems and considerations with regard to the force control performance for a hydraulic servo system were investigated. A force control method using the nonlinear model was proposed, and its effect was evaluated with the simulation program.

In the field application of the conventional acoustic nonlinear technique using through transmission of bulk waves to evaluate the contact acoustic nonlinearity(CAN) in solid-solid contact interfaces like as in the closed crack, it has difficulty to access inner position for attaching the pulsing or receiving transducer. In the present study, a new reflection technique has been suggested to measure the acoustic nonlinearity in solid-solid contact interfaces, which uses both of pulsing and receiving transducers on the same side of target and so that it will be very useful for the field application. For this, based on the linear and the nonlinear contact stiffness estimated by the power-model of the contacting pressure, the nonlinear parameter of the reflected ultrasonic wave at the interfaces has been theoretically calculated. Experimental results in contact interfaces of A1606l-T6 alloy specimens with loading pressure showed good agreement with the theoretical predictions, which proves the validity of the suggested reflection mode technique.

In railway tunnel environment, the reliability of a high-data-rate and real-time train-to-wayside communication should be maintained especially when high-speed train moves along the track. In China and Europe, the communication frequency around 900 MHz is widely used for railway applications. At this carrier frequency band, both of the solutions based on continuously laid leaky coaxial cable (LCX) and discretely installed base-station antennas (BSAs), are applied in tunnel radio coverage. Many available works have concentrated on the radio-wave propagation in tunnels by different kinds of prediction models. Most of them solve this problem as natural propagation in a relatively large hollow waveguide, by neglecting the transmitting/receiving (Tx/Rx) components. However, within such confined areas like railway tunnels especially loaded with train, the complex communication environment becomes an important factor that would affect the quality of the signal transmission. This paper will apply a full-wave numerical method to this case, for considering the BSA or LCX, train antennas and their interacted environments, such as the locomotive body, overhead line for power supply, locomotive pantograph, steel rails, ballastless track, tunnel walls, etc.. Involving finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method and uni-axial anisotropic perfectly matched layer (UPML) technique, the entire wireless RF downlinks of BSA and LCX to tunnel space to train antenna are precisely modeled (so-called integrative modeling technique, IMT). When exciting the BSA and LCX separately, the field distributions of some cross-sections in a rectangular tunnel are presented. It can be found that the influence of the locomotive body and other tunnel environments is very significant. The field coverage on the locomotive roof plane where the train antennas mounted, seems more homogenous when the side-laying position of the BSA or LCX is much higher. Also, much smoother field coverage solution is achieved by choosing LCX for its characteristic of more homogenous electromagnetic wave radiation.

This study on the methode is easied to distinguish with emotional visual lighting on AtoN facility using 3colors LED, and which is controlled to on-off switching of approach light in shore or harbor. The identification have easied to provide a differentiation between the AtoN facility of red and white light and surrounding light in harbor both sides. And the integrated controller have designed to left-right and serial sequential lighting system for harbor guidance using the GPS synchronous or timer. There is expectation effect that is prevent a confusion about distinguish of facility by ship's operator and to beautify a night scene of harbor, which is expressed to emotional identification lighting and variable color lighting on AtoN body by vertical layer color lighting using LED. In addition, the performance of AtoN is implemented to display with guidance light the harbor safety message by morse code lighting. Effectiveness of system is enhanced that age and power consumption reduce by candle alternated high light LED.
Application fields of ultrasonic transducers can be divided into two categories, a high ultrasonic resolution required field and a high ultrasonic power required field. This paper is aimed to determine the optimal properties of the matching layers of the transducer for each of the applications. Further, it is aimed to optimize the properties of the matching layers that show satisfactory performances for both of the application fields. Through the direct time domain analysis of the transmission and reflection behavior of the ultrasonic wave, apart from the conventional equivalent circuit analysis, and Fourier transformation of its results, we found the optimum acoustic impedances of the matching layers. The newly determined layers provide much better transducer performance-57% at most-than those obtained with conventional design methods. Based on the results, we also found the optimal acoustic impedances of the layers good for both of the application fields. For te optimization, we developed a new transducer performance evaluation parameter that can be applied to any type of ultrasonic transducers.
CRC function has been built into the high-speed semiconductor memory device in order to increase the reliability of data for high-speed operation. Also, DBI function is adopted to improve of data transmission speed. Conventional CRC(ATM-8 HEC code) method has a significant amounts of area-overhead(~XOR 700 gates), and processing time(6 stage XOR) is large. Therefore it leads to a considerable burden on the timing margin at the time of reading and writing of the low power memory devices for CRC calculations. In this paper, we propose a CRC method for low cost and high speed memory, which was improved 92% for area-overhead. For low-cost implementation of the CRC scheme by the DBI function it was supplemented by data bit error detection rate. And analyzing the error detection rate were compared with conventional CRC method.

In this paper, we present a new routing protocol, multipath and multi-priority based routing protocol, (MMRP) for wireless multimedia sensor networks. The proposed MMRP chooses the multiple routing paths from source to the sink, then the selected paths are assigned with different priority levels depending upon the residual energy and transmission delay in the routing paths. That is, the highly prioritized I frames of the MPEG video are transmitted over the high priority routing paths, and other P and B frames are transmitted over the lower priority routing paths. The proposed MMRP protocol can be applied to time critical applications which require both lower latency and low power consumption over wireless multimedia sensor network. Simulations results of MMRP protocol show respectively an improvement of 23.48% and 23.11% in energy conservation and 81.6% and 32.01% improvement in latency as compared to protocols without and with multipath routing.
