  • 본 연구에서는 동력전달용 치차설계 전문가 시스템을 구축하기 위한 일단의 연구로서 먼저, 치차의 시험중 또는 사용중에 일어나는 파손에 대하여 파손의 원인탐 색과 대책수립을 위한 전문가 시스템을 개발한다.

  • To know the possibility of fuel substitution for Diesel engine with the seed oil of Evodia daniellii, which is one of the native oil seed trees in Korea. the refined seed oil mixed with light oil in the various rates was tested in the 8 PS Diesel engine: the output, the fuel consumption rate, the governor performance, the rpm stability in the total loading condition. the content of graphite in the burned gas, and the traction coefficients at the different gear stages were maintained The following results were discussed. 1. The output at the normal revolution (2200rpm)was increased as the percent seed oil increased. At the lower rpm (2000-1500rpm )there were no consistent difference in the outputs among fuels of the different percent seed oil 2. The rate of fuel consumption was inclosed as the percent seed oil increased in each loading condition. 3. The more percent sud oil was mixed in the fuel. the better governor performance appeared at both the instantaneous and stable speed. 4. The more percent seed oil was mixed In the fuel, the more stable rpm ratio was maintained 5. The graphite content In the burned gas was increased as the load increased, but there was no apparent difference in the content at each load among the 100$\%$ seed oil, the 100$\%$ light oil, and the mixtures in various rates. 6. In all fuel mixtures the maximam traction coefficent appeared at the third transmission gear stage. Generally in over all transmission gear stages the fuel mixtures of the seed oil:light oil ratio from 7:3 to 5:5 resulted greater traction force than the other fuels.

유연핀을 적용한 2.5MW급 풍력발전기용 기어박스의 동응답 해석 (Dynamic Response Analysis of 2.5MW Wind Turbine Gearbox with Flexible Pins)

  • 본 연구는 2.5MW급 풍력발전기용 기어박스의 동특성 분석에 관한 것으로서, 유연핀(flexible pin) 채용에 따른 유성기어축의 미스얼라인먼트(misalignment) 개선여부와 충격하중에 따른 기어박스의 동응답 특성을 유한요소해석을 통해 고찰하였다. 내부의 복잡한 기어시스템의 하중전달을 정확하게 그리고 효과적으로 반영하기 위해 치접촉을 등가 치강성계수를 갖는 스프링요소와 물림률을 이용하여 모델링하였다. 기어의 등가 치강성계수는 기어치에 대한 변형해석을 통해 계산하였으며, 동특성 분석을 위해 기어박스 입력단에 충격 토오크를 부과하였다. 수치실험을 통해 등가 치강성모델의 타당성을 검증하였으며, 양단 그리고 일단 고정축과의 상대 비교를 통해 유연핀 적용에 따른 유성기어축의 미스얼라인먼트 개선여부를 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 풍속이 급변할 경우 전력계통 시스템과 기계시스템의 안전을 위해 풍력발전기를 제동시킨다. 이 때, 풍력발전기 내부의 기어박스에서 기어 이의 접촉하중으로 인한 기어의 손상 및 파손이 발생하며, 브레이크를 이용한 제동 시 블레이드의 동력을 그대로 전달받아 마찰열 상승, 브레이크의 성능 저하 등의 문제가 있다. 본 논문은 풍력 발전 시스템의 동력전달장치인 기계식 기어의 접촉에 의한 문제를 해결하기 위해 동력 차단 시스템을 결합시킨 하이브리드 마그네틱 기어의 형상을 제안한다. 이차원 유한해석법을 활용하여 하이브리드 마그네틱 기어의 형상에 따른 토크와 손실 분석을 통해 풍력발전 시스템에 적합한 하이브리드 마그네틱 기어의 형상을 도출하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 동력전달용 치차설계 전문가 시스템을 구축하기 위한 일단의 연구로서 먼저 동력전달용 치차의 치차파손의 원인과 대책의 진단을 위한 전문가 시스 템을 개발하였으며, 본 논문에서는 치차의 강도를 기준으로 삼아 원통치차를 설계할 수 있는 강도 기준 치차설계 전문가 시스템을 개발한다. 즉, 전문가 시스템은 치차 설계에 필요한 지식을 체계적으로 지식 베이스에 구축하며, 이를 이용하여 새로운 설 계안을 도출해 낼수 있는 추론엔진을 구성하고, 설계광정중에 변화하는 설계의 중간결 과 등을 저장하기 위한 임시작업영역을 기본요소로 구축한다. 또한 과거의 설계예를 데이터 베이스로 구축하여 설계시에 참조 할 수 있도록 하며, 새로운 치차의 설계뿐아 니라 설계되어 있는 치차의 강도평가도 할 수 있도록 한다. 전문가 시스템에 사용자 인터페이스, 설명기능, 지식획득기능 등을 추가함으로써 치차분야에 초심자라 할지라 도 개발된 전문가 시스템과의 문답식 대화를 통하여 손쉽게 치차를 설계할 수 있도록 한다.전문가 시스템을 기술하는 프로그램 언어는 PROLOG를 사용하여 퍼스널컴퓨 상 에서 구동될 수 있도록 하며, 강도평가시 많은 수치계산이 필요한 부분은 FORTRAN언어 를 사용하여 기술한 후 PROLOG와 연결(interface)함으로써 전체 전문가 시스템을 구축 한다.

  • Degree-Of-Freedom(DOF) for most power transmission system varies according to the operation status which consists of friction elements to change the power flow or to adjust the speed ratio such as clutches, brakes or one-way clutches. To simulate the dynamic characteristics of automatic power transmission system which is a typical example of such a variable DOF systems, many sets of governing equations and complicated phase decision routines are necessary. In this paper dynamic constraint theorem is derived explaining the torque transmission characteristics during the clutch engagement process and a robust stable algorithm is developed describing this phase transition phenomenon effectively by introducing the concept of direct torque and virtual damping. Finally, applying this algorithm to a passenger car automatic transmission gear consisting of several friction elements, an efficient simulation methods for such a complex system will be suggested that is very simple and systematic.

  • Fuel efficiency in tractor operations dep6nds on the selection of transmission gears and upon the engine being operated at or near maximum torque much of time. The objective of this study was to develop automatic control systems for tractor transmission ratio and governor setting so that the engine is operated at or near maximum torque as much of time as possible. An indoor test unit, which can be used to simulate tractor operation, was built in order to investigate the system design parameters and test the performance of the control system designed. The test-unit consists of engine, gear-type transmission, dynamometer, and control systems for transmission ratio and engine speed. Governor setting lever was controlled by a step motor, and the clutch and transmission levers were controlled by hydraulic cylinders and solenoid valves. The control systems showed good time responses which are assumed to be suitable for optimal tractor operation. The time required for shifting gears from clutch disengagement to engagement was about 1 second, which is almost the same as that for manual shift. And the settling time for engine speed control system was about 5 to 6 seconds.

고속 무한궤도 차량용 변속기 시뮬레이터 개발 (Development of Transmission Simulator for High-Speed Tracked Vehicles)

  • Electronic control technologies that have long been developed for passenger cars spread to construction equipment and agricultural vehicles because of its outstanding performance achieved by embedded software. Especially, system program of transmission control unit (TCU) plays a crucial role for the superb shift quality, driving performance and fuel efficiency, etc. Since the control algorithm is embedded in software that is rarely analyzed, development of such a TCU cannot be conducted by conventional reverse engineering. Transmission simulator is a kind of electronic device that simulates the electric signals including driver operation command and output of various sensors installed in transmission. Standalone TCU can be run in normal operation mode with the signals provided by transmission simulator. In this research, transmission simulator for the tracked vehicle TCU is developed for the analysis of shift control algorithm from the experiments with standalone TCU. It was confirmed that shift experimental data for the simulator setup conditions can be used for the analysis of control algorithms on proportional solenoid valves and shift map.

플라스틱스퍼기어의 내구성향상에 관한 실험연구 (Experimental Study for the Durability Enhancement of Plastic Spur Gear)

  • Operating test of power-transmission plastic spur gears were performed inspecting both characteristics of friction-wear and endurance, and suggesting endurance improvement method that either drills internal holes of tooth or inserts metallic pin in the internal hole of tooth and verifying this newly-provided method. In case of acetal gears, amount of friction-wear is observed to increase by development of plastic deformation and increase of tooth stiffness due to brittle material property of acetal. To the contrary, in case of nylon gears, suggested method is shown to drop down the tooth temperature for about 3∼10$^{\circ}C$ than original gear, thus amount of wear is reduced by over 30% and operating lift prolonged by more than 200%. Hence, suggested method is proved to be practically applicable to the plastic gears made by soft polymers such as Nylon.

열처리 공정에서 가열 영역에 따른 평기어의 열변형 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Thermal Deformation Simulation of Spur Gear According to the Heat Zones in Heat Treatment Process)

  • In order to improve fatigue life of transmission gear carburizing is normally used. Carburizing is a very good process to achieve low cost and high performance. The machined gears are heated up to carburizing temperature and then cooled rapidly in an oil bath to produce high surface hardness. The gears may undergo excessive thermal distortion during heating and rapid cooling. In order to predict the distortion during heating and rapid cooling, a coupled thermo-mechanical simulation is needed. In the current research, the simulation of heating and cooling was performed. The results show that the thermal distortion and the residual stresses are well predicted by the coupled simulation. In addition, induction heating and rapid cooling simulation is carried out to predict the thermal distortion. The amount of distortion is compared. It is shown that induction heating is very effective to reduce thermal distortion.
