This paper describes the control system of the toroidal traction driver continuously variable-speed transmission(CVT) fur a tractor. The instrumentation system, the hydraulic power control system and the principle control scheme were introduced. Experimental tests in the bench and the tractor were conducted to validate the performance of the CVT utilizing the proposed controller. The speed of the vehicle was continuously changed to follow the speed set by driver under various operating conditions. Given the reduction ratio of the variator from 2.0 to 1.0, the settling time was about just 0.52 seconds which was satisfactory value for working with the tractor. It was also proved that the tractor could work with continuously variable speed under heavy load disturbances.
Wind energy has been more and more important and contributive in the energy utilization of the world. This paper proposed a novel method for Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS), in which a secondary control hydrostatic transmission (SC-HST) with two hydraulic accumulators, were employed for wind energy conversion system. This approach can absorb the excessive power of turbine, keep the generator from over-speed and maintain the speed of generator in low speed of turbine. A PID controller was designed for speed control to track a predefined speed. The simulation results indicated that the speed of the generator was ensured with the relative error less than 2%; and the efficiency of the proposed system was 70.4%.
When the teleoperated system has a signal transmission time delay between slave and control system , the system stability as well as the position tracking and the force reflecting performances are likely to be deteriorated. This paper proposed a bilateral control scheme and a controller design method for the teleoperated control systems with a signal transmission time delay. The proposed controller is a modified type of smith predictor for the time delay in each input and output stage of an open loop unstable plant. The proposed controller not only satisfies the system internal stability but also improves the position tracking performance with disturbance rejection capability. The simulation...

As network adaptive streaming technology becomes increasingly common, transport protocol also becomes important in guaranteeing the quality of multimedia streaming. At the same time, because of the appearance of high-quality video such as Ultra High Definition (UHD), preventing buffering as well as preserving high quality while deploying a streaming service becomes important. The Internet Engineering Task Force recently published Multipath TCP (MPTCP). MPTCP improves the maximum transmission rate by simultaneously transmitting data over different paths with multiple TCP subflows. However, MPTCP cannot preserve high quality, because the MPTCP subflows slowly increase the transmission rate, and upon detecting a packet loss, drastically halve the transmission rate. In this paper, we propose a new multipath congestion control scheme for high-quality multimedia streaming. The proposed scheme preserves high quality of video by adaptively adjusting the increasing parameter of subflows according to the network status. The proposed scheme also increases network efficiency by providing load balancing and stability, and by supporting fairness with single-flow congestion control schemes.
A few years ago, The trains had little control equipment so the trains had little data transmission between control equipment. Recently, there is a lot of control equipment in a train as traction control, air conditioners and even internet access. for this reason, vehicle network must allow for the big amount of transmission data and must ensure the high reliability. In this paper we present monitering system for verify high reliability of data transmission of MVB of TCN which is an international standard of IEC 61375.

Enclosures are widely used to alleviate the contribution of machinery noise. It has been long concerned with the noise transmission through the access openings of the enclosures. In this study, we investigate active noise control technology for reduction of the transmission. A numerical model based on the acoustic boundary element method is first established. Using the numerical model, the acoustic transfer functions of the field points over the opening to the primary source at arbitrary locations are estimated. The feedforward control to minimize the acoustic power through the opening is then numerically implemented. The controller drives the secondary source to destructively interfere the noise transmission through the opening. Finally, a parametric study is conducted to evaluate the effects of the location and the number of the microphones on the control performance. Furthermore, the effects of the location of the secondary source on the performance of active noise control are investigated. It is followed that the control system implemented in this study leads to a significant reduction of about 31.5 dB in the sound power through the opening using only one secondary source located at the optimized position.

This paper present as experimental demonstratio of DSP and a sensory actuator that is used to actively control sound transmission/radiation through a vibrating plate. A plane acoustic wave incident on a clamped, thin circular plate was used as a noise source, and a sensory actuator bounded to the plate was used to control and sense vibration of the plate. The sound transmission reduction problem was tranformed as a structural vibration control problem that actively control the structural vibration modes coupled to acoustic modes. The results show that the first structural vibration mode is controlled with a reduction of 78 percent in the displacement and velocity of the plate. This corresponds to a 13dB reduction in the acoustic response. These experimental results indicate that a sensory actuator bounded to the plate can be employed to attenuate the sound transmitted to radiated from the plate.

A loader used for uploading materials into truck is a kind of construction equipment. Mainly, a wheel loader is applied to construction work. Recently, an automatic transmission for the wheel loader is used to help drivers get the repetitive works done comfortably. It is composed of geartrain, clutch pack, hydraulic control system and TCU. Especially, a high-performance proportional control valve and its control algorithm is demanded to achieve the shift quality during a change of speed. In this paper, the commercial package program was used in order to justify model of the proportional control valve and simulate it. Steady-state and dynamic characteristics of PCV were analyzed to classify attractive forces and hydraulic control characteristics. This model also was verified the validity compared to the experimental result. Using the developed model, performances of PCV were predicted as studying design parameters.

In-band full-duplex (IBFD) wireless communication supports symmetric dual transmission between two nodes and asymmetric dual transmission among three nodes, which allows improved throughput for distributed IBFD wireless networks. However, inter-node interference (INI) can affect desired packet reception in the downlink of three-node topology. The current Half-duplex (HD) medium access control (MAC) mechanism RTS/CTS is unable to establish an asymmetric dual link and consequently to suppress INI. In this paper, we propose a medium access control mechanism for use in distributed IBFD wireless networks, FD-DMAC (Full-Duplex Distributed MAC). In this approach, communication nodes only require single channel access to establish symmetric or asymmetric dual link, and we fully consider the two transmission modes of asymmetric dual link. Through FD-DMAC medium access, the neighbors of communication nodes can clearly know network transmission status, which will provide other opportunities of asymmetric IBFD dual communication and solve hidden node problem. Additionally, we leverage FD-DMAC to transmit received power information. This approach can assist communication nodes to adjust transmit powers and suppress INI. Finally, we give a theoretical analysis of network performance using a discrete-time Markov model. The numerical results show that FD-DMAC achieves a significant improvement over RTS/CTS in terms of throughput and delay.

In order to control moving facilities on a remote place effectively, it are required to acquire a environment informations such as images where the moving facilities are placed. However, since there is no tools to acquire such informations to the central control system based on the non-networked sensor environments, it is difficult to control the moving facilities remotely. Therefore, we design and implement the Zigbee based image transmission system and communication protocol to control the moving target remotely. The wireless control utilizing the Zigbee protocol is that electrically consumption is more small than the Bluetooth and reliability of data transmission is better. The implemented Zigbee based control systems and communication protocol have the normal and replay function for a realtime control of the moving target under the server PC and the mobile FDA with the WiFi protocol. The functional operability and performance are analyzed by a designed prototype under the wireless home network environment.
