  • The Korean high speed railway system is scheduled to open sometime in 2004. To fulfill its duties, it is essential to view intermodalism in easy access to high speed railway station. To study travelers' choice of mode and to make improvements the transfer, a SP survey of 3628 was conducted in national level in the fall of 2001. An understanding of KTX passenger mode choice is crucial for station-related facility capacity planning. Development of main and regional high speed stations, as well as changes in the roadway and railroad transportation system for station access, will influence the relative demand for traveling by train from compel ing other transportation mode. The research described here was designed to derive a general overview of the basic travel patterns with an emphasis on intermodal transportation system.

And, the study considers implemental method of communication network for long-distance image transmission from dozens to hundreds kilometers.

  • 본 연구는 지하철 노선망에 따른 각 역들의 접근도를 산출하는데 있어 그래프 이론을 수정한 모델을 적용하여 접근도의 변화가 공간구조에 미치는 영향력을 분석한 것이다. 사례지역은 지하철 제 1기와 2기 노선의 증설에 따라 접근도가 상당히 향상된 건대역 주변으로, 접근도의 변화에 따른 역세권의 지가와 토지이용의 변화를 고찰하였다. 지하철 개통 전${\cdot}$후를 중심으로 지가의 상승이 두드러졌으며, 간선도로변에서의 상승율이 더 크게 나타나고 있다. 제 2기 노선의 건설로 인해 간선돌변 뿐만 아니라 지선도로변에서도 지가의 상승과 고밀도화된 토지이용이 이루어지고 있다. 환승역인 건대역의 역세권역은 상세계획지구로 설정되어있어 앞으로 고밀도화된 상업지구로 개발될 예정이다. 본 연구에서는 앞으로 새로운 강북 동부의 중심지로서의 기능을 수행해 나갈 수 있도록 보다 종합적인 개발방향을 모색하였다.

  • 2018년 발사를 목표로 한국항공우주연구원이 개발중인 정지궤도복합위성(GEO-KOMPSAT-2)은 사용되는 발사체에 따라 GTO(Geostationary Transfer Orbit) 혹은 SSTO(Supersynchronous Transfer Orbit)를 거쳐 정지궤도에 진입하게 된다. GTO는 오늘날 대부분의 정지궤도위성이 사용하는 방식인 반면 SSTO의 경우는 사례가 많지 않고 GTO와는 완전히 다른 기술적인 접근이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 정지궤도복합위성에의 적용을 목표로 SSTO 운용의 제약 사항을 정리하고 SSTO로부터 정지궤도로 진입하기 위한 액체원지점엔진 점화계획을 예비적인 수준에서 구성하였다. 또한 지상추적소의 가시성을 포함한 궤도 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 구성된 계획을 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에선 수소 경제의 핵심 인프라 시설이며, 차세대 동력원인 수소에너지 관리 시설의 관리자들의 안전교육 및 훈련을 위한 가상체험 모들을 제안한다. 우리의 시스템은 이벤트 기반의 웹 3D기술을 사용하여, 일반적인 사용자가 손쉽게 사이트에 접속하여 실제 모델별 수소충전소를 가상으로 경험하며, 내부적으로 위치한 안전장치에 대한 가상 경험을 제공한다. 사용자는, 가상현실 환경 내에서 다양한 이벤트를 통해 안전사고시 대처상황을 습득할 수 있으며, 추가적으로 동영상과 음성 등의 멀티 미디어 객체의 제공으로 보다 나은 교육환경을 제시한다. 본 시스템을 사용하며, 실제 수소충전소의 관리자들의 교육기능을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 향후 수소충전소의 홍보수단으로도 사용이 가능하다.

Identification of unbalanced complex chromosomal rearrangements in IVF-derived embryos during NGS analysis of preimplantation genetic testing: A case report

  • Complex chromosome rearrangements (CCRs) are structural chromosomal rearrangements involving at least three chromosomes and more than two breakpoints. CCR carriers are generally phenotypically normal but related to higher risk of recurrent miscarriage and having abnormal offspring with congenital anomalies. However, most of CCR carriers are not aware of their condition until genetic analysis of either abortus or affected baby or parental karyotyping is performed. Herein, we present the case that CCR carrier patients can be identified by preimplantation genetic testing of preimplantation embryos. An infertile male patient with severe oligoasthenoteratozoospermia was diagnosed balanced reciprocal translocation, 46,XY,t(3;11) (p26;p14) at first. After attempting the first preimplantation genetic testing for structural rearrangement (PGT-SR) cycle, we found the recurrent segmental gain or loss on 21q21.3-q22.3 of five out of nine embryos. As a result of karyotype re-analysis, the patient's karyotype showed a balanced CCR involving chromosomes 3, 11, and 21 with three breakpoints 3p26, 11p14, and 21q21. The patient underwent two PGT-SR cycles, and a pregnancy was established after the transfer of an euploid embryo in the second cycle. Amniocentesis confirmed that the baby carried normal karyotype without mosaicism. At 37 weeks gestation, a healthy girl weighting 3,050 g was born.

  • The amount of the heating and cooling energy of water source heat pump using the raw water from the Paldang water intake station is investigated in the study. The Han river water is conveyed in the large-size shallowly buried pipe. Averaged water temperature at the position, 27 km from the Paldang water intake station, is increased by $1.11^{\circ}C$ due to the geothermal energy transfer under the ground, therefore the raw water has more thermal energy than the river water. To estimate of the thermal energy for the raw water, it is assumed that the water source heat pump is used for the heating and cooling ventilation. When $5.0^{\circ}C$ temperature difference energy of the raw water is used in the heat pump system all the year except for the January and February in which $3.0^{\circ}C$ temperature difference energy is used. It is predicted that total 5,766.3 Tcal could be used in the metropolitan area a year, which is about 3.0% of the river water unutilized energy resources.

  • As the integrated devices become more and more sophistcated, the diameter of wafers increased up to 300 mm and strict level of cleaning is necessary to remove the particulates on the surface of wafer. Therefore we need a new type of wet-station which can reduce DI water and chemical in the cleaning process. Moreover, it is important to control the temperature and the concentration of chemical in the wet-station. In the conventional chemical supply system, it is difficult not only to fit the mixing rate of chemicals in cleaning process, but also to fit the quantity and temperature. Thus, we propose a new chemicals supply system, which overcomes above problems by the analysis of fluid and thermal transfer on chemical supply system.
