It is essential that is the collection of more accurate data to provide reliable traffic information. Currently collection of traffic information which uses the taxi or the passenger car by the probe vehicle is low reliability. If it develops the model which estimates car travel-time by using bus travel-time, it means that the sheep or duality of information using the passenger car and the taxi by the probe vehicle than will improve. Consequently the research which develops to each situation in accordance withtraffic volume and bus whole aspect car execution yes or no and bus stand form.
The fact that the demands on traffic data collection are imposed by economic and safety considerations raisese the question of the potential for complementing existing traffic data collection programs with satellite data. Evaluating and monitoring traffic characteristics is becoming increasingly important as worsening congestion, declining economic situations, and increasing environmental sensitivies are forcing the government and municipalities to make better use of existing roadway capacities. The present system of using automatic counters at selected points on highways works well from a temporal point of view (i.e., during a specific period of time at one location). However, the present system does not cover the spatial aspects of the entire road system (i.e., for every location during specific periods of time); the counters are employed only at points and only on selected highways. This lack of spatial coverage is due, in part, to the cost of the automatic counters systems (fixed procurement and maintenance costs) and of the personal required to deploy them. The current procedure is believed to work fairly well in the aggregate mode, at the macro level. However, at micro level, the numbers are more suspect. In addition, the statistics only work when assuming a certain homogenity among characteristics of highways in the same class, an assumption that is impossible to test whn little or no data is gathered on many of the highways for a given class. In this paper, a remote sensing system as complement of the existing system is considered and implemented. Since satellite imagery with high resolution is not available, digitized panchromatic imagery acquired from an aircraft platform is utilized for initial test of the feasibility and performance capability of remote sensing data. Different levels of imagery resolutions are evaluated in an attempt to determine what vehicle types could be classified and counted against a background of pavement types, which might be expected in panchromatic satellite imagery. The results of a systematic study with three different levels of resolutions (1m, 2m and 4m) show that the panchromat ic reflectances of vehicles and pavements would be distributed so similarly that it would be difficult to classify systematically and analytically remotely sensing vehicles on pavement within panchromatic range. Anaysis of the aerial photographs show that the shadows of the vehicles could be a cue for vehicle detection.
With fixed sinks, the network stability could be improved while the network life time could be decreased by the rapid energy dissipation around the fixed sink because of the concentrated network traffic from sensor nodes to the fixed sink in wireless sensor network. To address this problem, mobile sinks, which decentralize the network traffic, has received a lot of attention from many researchers recently. Since a mobile sink has a limited period to communicate with each sensor nodes, it is necessary for a scheduling algorithm to provide the fairness of data collection from each sensor nodes. In the paper, we propose the new scheduling algorithm, ASF(Availability based Scheduling scheme for Fair data collection), for the fair data collection by a mobile in the sensor networks. The ASF takes account of the distance between each sensor nodes and the mobile sink as scheduling metric, as well as the amount of collected data from each sensor nodes. Experiment results shows that the ASF improves the fairness of data collection among the sensor nodes, comparing to existing algorithm.
In the more and more continues traffic difficulty which comes to be serious it is for solve, in order to like this used plan for new town light train automatic fare collection system, the city development which is balance and the passenger whom it uses, in consequence of the fact that recently believer instruction, the automatic fare collection system the reverse which is convenient is used in the scripture season which is embossed with means it introduces it operates and a manpower with the scientific service control which leads the electric computer anger of passenger service improvement and accounting and statistical business it reduces, the use is convenient and the possibility facility of operating efficiently in rational plan in order to be, description below for the service automation equipment where the efficiency improves it is. Service automation equipment uses a scripture season to be the first boundary gate of the passenger, there must be a place where it uses a service automation facility and in order to be convenient, it considers the moving area and a wait of the reverse station passenger moving area and the space where, must secure the automatic fare collection system which it follows in automation of facility and the service operation of the reverse station which is ticket sale, the collection of tickets back the passenger is convenient and in order it will be able to use, must do and must consider, must arrange the efficient characteristic of the maintenance civil official services.

Traffic simulation models have been used for assessing various transportation strategies. Through comparing results from a simulation model and real field data, researchers try to show how close the model can reproduce the real world traffic. This model verification step is one of the most essential tasks in modeling procedure. Traffic counts and speeds have been frequently used for the verification or validation. Authors modeled severe PM peak bottleneck situation on the I-40 corridor in Raleigh, North Carolina using DYNASMART-P, a mesoscopic traffic simulation tool and verified the model. NCDOT has Traffic Information Management System which has archive capability for the traffic speeds on the I-40 corridor. However, the authors selected travel time as the field measure for model verification and collected the data using a GPS equipment because the speed data from NCDOT speed detectors are spot speeds which are not appropriate for comparison with link average speed from the simulation model. This paper describes the GPS field data collection procedure, the model verification method, and the results.
This study is to define new road capacity concept, and to develop and propose an estimation method, through the analysis of individual vehicular behaviors in continuum flow. Developments in detection technology enable various and precise traffic data collection. The U.S. HCM (Highway Capacity Manual) method does not require such various and precise traffic data, and outputs only limited results. Alternative capacity concepts, which can be classified into a stochastic model and behavioral or deterministic model, are attempts for modeling some prominent traffic flow features, namely so-called a capacity drop and a traffic hysteresis, using such various and precise traffic data. Yet, no capacity concept up-to-date can describe both features. The analysis of individual vehicular behaviors, including speed-density plot per time lap, traffic flow-speed-density diagram per each sampling interval, time headway distribution, and free flow speed distribution, is performed for overcoming the limits of the previous capacity concepts. A stochastic methods are applied to determine time headway for estimating freeway capacity for traffic control.

Real-time traffic data are readily obtainable by traffic surveillance systems of intelligent transportation systems (ITS). Such data greatly support further applications in the field of traffic operations, planning, and safety. However, traffic data should be appropriately processed to fully exploit the benefits of data collection capability. Rather than developing individual data processing techniques, which is major concern of existing studies, this study proposes a novel methodology for evaluating data processing techniques in an integrated manner. Also, a tool for implementing the proposed methodology is developed. Users can extract useful and more reliable traffic data based upon their ultimate purpose of data usage by the evaluation tool developed in this study. Actual freeway traffic data are, as an example, fed into the evaluation tool, and results are discussed.

This paper is to introduce methodologies of travel time reliability evaluation using daily traffic volumes. The methodologies include desirable speed concept, the relation between averaged daily speeds and daily traffic volumes, the standardized way in integration of travel time deviations obtained from continuous highway sections. The study began with traffic data collection from a freeway line with long lasting congestion. And then, provided establishment of the relation between averaged daily speeds and daily traffic volumes, and usability of Point estimate method (PEM) to integrate travel time deviations of sections. Based on the relation between averaged daily speeds and daily traffic volumes, it is identified that travel time reliability begins to decrease around LOS (Level of Service) C even before LOS D or F. It may be concluded that travel time reliability could be evaluated based on daily traffic volumes in highway sections using standardized PEM. The methodologies introduced in the paper, could be useful in practicing evaluation of travel time reliability during the works of highway operation or highway planning.
