  • Railway intelligent transportation systems and related Ministry of Land and rail operating agency's railway informatization planning of information technology, effective through the use of management strategies to establish or run to support the systematic informatization investment that you want to execute work in progress, during and yet the institutional informatization of operations mainly in the form of efficiency is Chinhae. Accordingly, in order to promote the details of the final challenge of providing real-time information and the usefulness of this information collection is clearly for the railway sector by function of the components is necessary to distinguish. In this paper, the details of the plan goals, promoting convenient rail-based real-time information, to promote optimal gohyoeuleul railways, railway safety and comfort, was defined as three. Selection of each goal, because the direction of vision and ITS around the railroad center of road users by highlighting the benefits of the railroad's traffic information center user switching, real-time delivery of information diversity (enhanced content) that can increase the capacity of line train operating systems, enhancing the safety management system introduced in the monitoring system and is a railroad crossing. Because urban railway project in accordance with the goal of decreasing the annual rate of the train support, and the average passenger wait time savings, increased future demand for railway, rail safety, including securing the expected effects may occur.

건강증진을 위한 걷기의 의미와 영향 요인: 도시 걷기 실천자들의 경험 (Unveiling the Meaning of Walking for Health Promotion: The Perspectives of Urban Walkers)

  • Objectives: This study identifies the meaning of walking and its facilitating factors and barriers from the perspective of urban walkers in Seoul. Methods: The participants consisted of twelve people who either lived or worked in Gangnam district of Seoul. The study applied the data collection process featured in the photovoice, in which the participants took photographs and shared their stories through focus group interviews. Results: Walking is regarded as one of the easiest types of physical activity. While walking, participants find mental tranquility, communication opportunities, and a chance to step back from their everyday lives. Facilitating factors include: access to walking-friendly venues and attractive surrounding environments; the participant's assimilation into the surrounding area; having the feeling of ease and relaxation; and friends and family to walk together. Barriers consist of physical factors such as street design and the busy urban streets, insensitive traffic and low civic awareness, and personal situational factors. Conclusions: The benefit of walking exceeds beyond those of physical health promotion. Actions to encourage walking in urban areas should address the multiple meanings perceived by their citizens.

기계학습 기반 저 복잡도 긴장 상태 분류 모델 (Design of Low Complexity Human Anxiety Classification Model based on Machine Learning)

  • Recently, services for personal biometric data analysis based on real-time monitoring systems has been increasing and many of them have focused on recognition of emotions. In this paper, we propose a classification model to classify anxiety emotion using biometric data actually collected from people. We propose to deploy the support vector machine to build a classification model. In order to improve the classification accuracy, we propose two data pre-processing procedures, which are normalization and data deletion. The proposed algorithms are actually implemented based on Real-time Traffic Flow Measurement structure, which consists of data collection module, data preprocessing module, and creating classification model module. Our experiment results show that the proposed classification model can infers anxiety emotions of people with the accuracy of 65.18%. Moreover, the proposed model with the proposed pre-processing techniques shows the improved accuracy, which is 78.77%. Therefore, we can conclude that the proposed classification model based on the pre-processing process can improve the classification accuracy with lower computation complexity.

  • 본 논문에서는 북한의 통신 인프라 현대화 방향을 패. 내외적 여건에 대한 지역특성에 적합한 적용 가능한 면과 지역특성에 거하여 실현 가능한 통신망 현대화 전략을 제시하고자 한다. 따라서 모델링을 위한 대상 지역의 선정, 자료수집 및 선정된 지역의 특성 분석, 수요 및 트래픽 예측등 모델로 선정된 지역에 대한 종합적인 통신망 현대화 방안을 수립하여야 하나, 현재 북한은 전반적인 통신 인프라가 초기단계에 있기 때문에 위와 같은 상황을 모두 고려할 수 없음으로 기본적인 통신망 현대화 전략만을 고려하여 목표 년도의 개념적 통신망 구조를 설정하였다.

미시적 도로주행 조건을 반영한 배출량 산정 방법의 적용 사례 연구 (Application of an Emission Estimation Methodology to Reflect Microscale Road Driving Conditions)

  • PURPOSES : This study proposes a methodology to collect data necessary for microlevel emission estimation, such as second-by-second speeds and road grades, and to accordingly estimate emissions. METHODS : To ease data collection for microlevel emission estimation, a vehicle equipped with speed- and location-recording instruments as well as equipment for measuring road geometry was used. As a case study, this vehicle and the proposed methodology were used on a 10-km-long highway in Yongin City, Korea. Emissions from the vehicle during driving were estimated in various microscale driving conditions. RESULTS : Differences in the estimated emission under different microscale driving conditions cannot be ignored. Compared with the estimations obtained when second-by-second data were not considered, CO and NOx emissions were more than threefold higher when considering second-by-second speed; similarly, CO and NOx emission estimations were higher by approximately 10% and 3%, respectively, when considering second-by-second road grade. CONCLUSIONS : The proposed method can estimate vehicle emissions under real-world driving conditions in such applications as road design and traffic policy assessments.

이동식 토양 강도 센서 데이터 주파수 분석 (Spectral Analysis of On-the-go Soil Strength Sensor Data)

  • As agricultural machinery has become larger and tillage practices have changed in recent decades, compaction as a result of wheel traffic and tillage has caused increasing concern. If strategies to manage compaction, such as deep tillage, could be applied only where needed, economic and environmental benefits would result. For such site-specific compaction management to occur, compacted areas within fields must be efficiently sensed and mapped. We previously developed an on-the-go soil strength profile sensor (SSPS) for this purpose. The SSPS measures within-field variability in soil strength at five soil depths up to 50 cm. Determining the variability structure of SSPS data is needed for site-specific field management since the variability structure determines the required intensity of data collection and is related to the delineation of compaction management zones. In this paper, soil bin data were analyzed by a spectral analysis technique to determine the variability structure of the SSPS data, and to investigate causes and implications of this variability. In the soil bin, we observed a repeating pattern due to soil fracture with an approximate 12- to 19-cm period, especially at the 10-cm depth, possibly due to cyclic development of soil fracture on this interval. These findings will facilitate interpretation of soil strength data and enhance application of the SSPS.

  • 각종 환경적, 기술적 요인으로 인하여 영상검지기는 사용연한에 따라 정확도는 감소하기 마련인데 변화정도에 대해서 체계적으로 연구된 바가 없다. 영상검지기의 정확도를 적정수준으로 유지하기 위해서는 교정작업이 필수적이지만 예산적, 제도적 문제로 인해 엄밀한 교정이 실시되지 못해 양질의 교통관리에 제약으로 작용하고 있다. 본 연구는 실제 현장에서 쓰이고 있는 영상검지기들을 대상으로 정확도 검사방안을 개발하였고, 현장 조사를 통해 수집된 자료를 기반으로 최적 교정주기 설정방안을 개발하였다. 이는 정보의 질을 중시하는 ITS센터의 유지관리업무와 연계하여 정책적으로도 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

자동차 제작결함조사 통계 분석을 통한 리콜제도 연구 (A Study on Recall Systems of Motor Vehicle by Statistical Analysis of Defects Investigation)

  • The basic point of a vehicle recall is to remove vehicle defects as soon as possible and thus prevent possible road traffic accidents caused by the defects beforehand. Therefore, the core of vehicle recall under the self-certification system consists of a timely response and fast remedy of defects. The present study aimed to deduce a plan for improvement of the system necessary for the fast remedy of defects through a phased analysis of defect investigation procedure based on defect investigation statistical data. There will be a need to make the TSB(Technical Service Bulletin) or service campaign data submission of a manufacturer compulsory for the collection of broad defect information in the stage of information analysis and to impose a higher penalty when the manufacturer violates the data submission in the investigation stage. In addition, it is considered that an active service campaign should be induced and a punishment for late recall will be needed for consumer protection.

  • 본 논문에서는 이더넷을 기반으로 연결되어 있는 분산 soft real-time 시스템에 적용될 수 있는, LAN/TCP라 명명된 확장된 TCP/IP 프로토콜을 제안하고 있다. LAN/TCP는 기존의 TCP/IP 환경에서 아무런 충돌 없이 호환성을 유지하면서 soft real-time 특성을 제공하기 때문에 기존의 응용 프로그램을 별 다른 수정 없이 사용할 수 있다. LAN/TCP는 주기적으로 수집, 갱신되는 제어 신호를 상대적으로 낮은 트래픽으로 전송할 수 있는 PTM(Periodic Transmission Mode)전송 방식을 제공한다. 본 논문은 제안된 프로토콜의 시뮬레이션 및 실험 결과를 제시하고 있다.

Development of Protective Scheme against Collaborative Black Hole Attacks in Mobile Ad hoc Networks

  • Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of nodes or communication devices that wish to communicate without any fixed infrastructure and predetermined organization of available links. The effort has been made by proposing a scheme to overcome the critical security issue in MANET. The insufficiency of security considerations in the design of Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector protocol makes it vulnerable to the threats of collaborative black hole attacks, where hacker nodes attack the data packets and drop them instead of forwarding. To secure mobile ad hoc networks from collaborative black hole attacks, we implement our scheme and considered sensor's energy as a key feature with a better packet delivery ratio, less delay time and high throughput. The proposed scheme has offered an improved solution to diminish collaborative black hole attacks with high performance and benchmark results as compared to the existing schemes EDRIAODV and DRIAODV respectively. This paper has shown that throughput and packet delivery ratio increase while the end to end delay decreases as compared to existing schemes. It also reduces the overall energy consumption and network traffic by maintaining accuracy and high detection rate which is more safe and reliable for future work.
