The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the productivity change of the 10 Single PPM Certification Company in the 3 Industry(Electronics, Motor-Parts, Machines). In this study, Productivity change over the time in Korean small and medium sized firms in the 3 industries by the bootstrapped Malmquist Productivity Index(MPI). The traditional Malmquist Productivity Index(MPI) and Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) Models have not only bias but also lack statistical confidence intervals. they could lead to wrong evaluations of the efficiency and productivity scores. In this paper, DEA and a MPI are combined with a bootstrap method in order to provide statistical inferences that analyze the performance of the Single PPM Certification Company. The data cover the period between 2004 and 2007. The result of this paper reveals : 1) The Electronics Industry had productivity effect of 17%, but there was not direct effect for other Industries(Motor-Parts, Machines). 2) average productivity Progress of the 7DMU(Electronics), 1DMU(Motor-Parts) and none(Machines).

Since Lau and Murnighan first introduced the concept of faultlines in 1998, there are many extended studies related to faultlines theory. It is obvious that faultlines theory adds valuable explanations in addition to what numerous previous demographic studies have explored. However, previous research has not been able to fully integrate the characteristics embedded in the workplace environments, and the influence of faultlines in IT industries has yet to be explored. So it is not reasonable and convincing to extend the findings from previous faultlines research to other industries in the global world. In this study, IT related influence is given considerable weight into traditional faultlines theory and the impact of IT-based faultlines is revealed. Our study indicates that IT-based faultlines have negative impact on task conflict, process conflict and relationship conflict, and also have negative impact on individual outcomes such as individual performance and satisfaction. The influence of IT-based faultlines on people s intend to remain in the current organization is found to be insignificant. Our empirical study reconfirmed that faultlines are important indicator in group works and also that faultlines are intimately related to various conflicts and individual outcomes. We hope our research findings would be beneficial to the organizations concerned with effective and efficient group work.

Because of the reduced product life-cycle, industries are making an effort to bring down the process planning time. In the traditional approach, we have to analyze established process planning, then design the time chart based on process information and drawing the formal time chart such as SOP(sequence of operation). Thereafter, it will be converted to PLC code that is a time consuming and redundant job. Similarly, Industrial automated process uses PLC Code to control the factory; however, control information and control code(PLC code) are difficult to understand. Hence, industries prefer writing new control code instead of using the existing one. It shows the lack of information reusability in the existing process planning. As a result, to reduce this redundancy and lack of reusability, we propose SOS-Net modeling method. Unlike past stabilized process planning that is rigid to any change; our proposed SOS-Net modeling method is more adaptable to the new changes. The SOS-Net model is easy to understand and easy to convert into PLC Code accordingly. Therefore, we can easily modify the control information and reuse it for new process planning. The proposed model plays an intermediary role between process planning and PLC code generation. It can reduce the process planning and implementation time as well as cost.
The global goat population continues to grow and is now over one billion. The number of goats raised primarily for milk production is also growing, due to expanding demand. Most of the world dairy goat production and consumption is in Asia, but a global view of the dairy goat sector reveals important lessons about building successful modern dairy goat industries. The most organized market for goat milk is found in Europe, especially in France. The European goat sector is specialized for milk production, mostly for industrial cheesemaking, while also supporting traditional on-farm manufacturing. Government involvement is significant in sanitary regulation, research, extension, support for local producer organizations, and markets, and ensures safety and quality. Nonetheless, producers are still vulnerable to market fluctuations. New dairy goat industries are developing in countries without a long goat milk tradition, such as China, the United States, and New Zealand, due to rising consumer demand, strong prices, and climate change. The mix of policies, management and markets varies widely, but regardless of the country, the dairy goat sector thrives when producers have access to markets, and the tools and skills to sustainably manage their livestock and natural resources. These are most readily achieved through strong and inclusive producer organizations, access to technical services, and policies that enable the poor and marginalized groups to benefit from increasing demand.

Among all industries, the construction industry still remains a traditional one with low productivity due to its labor-intensive and field-dependent production system, its supplier-oriented industrial structure, and the disruption of the information flow between participants. In addition, the construction industry in South Korea has recently been required to transform itself according to social trends such as aging, the reduction of skilled workers, and the shortening of working hours, and the disaster and death rates in the industry, which are more than twice as high as those in other industries, are making it more necessary to solve chronic safety problems. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to grasp the actual condition of safety management on construction sites in South Korea and analyze cases of K-smart technology utilization for preventing safety accidents on construction sites. The study investigated and analyzed the following. First, construction sites in South Korea were analyzed by type of safety accident, by type of construction, and by construction contract amount. Second, the current status of accidents on small-sized construction sites with a high fatal accident rate and cases of safety accidents on construction sites were investigated. The results of the study are expected to contribute to the dissemination and spread of smart safety technology for not only identifying major factors in safety accidents that occur on construction sites but also preventing workers from suffering accidents.
In Japan, a country renowned for her traditional respect for handicraft, superior craft techniques have been transmitted from generation to generation. Modern Japanese textiles reinterprete these traditional techniques in a new light and combine them with modern technology, to make modern Japanese industrial textile both futuristic and traditional simultaneously. This combining of new technology and handicraft serves as a reservoir for a remarkable diversity and originality in the development of new technology and design, and constitutes an important trend in modern industrial textiles. The aim of this study is to investigate the developmental background of Japanese textile industry that championed this trend to make the Japanese development unique in modern textile industries and to consider the concept of modern textiles as well as the structural innovation as represented by this new trend, thus contributing to the development of creative textiles for the present and the future. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows. The combining of new technology and traditional handicraft: 1) was made possible by Japanese consciousness that values traditional culture and by early recognition of advanced textile industry, which awarded new meaning and value to the traditional handicraft leading to an expanded social role for textiles. 2) helped construct a modern concept of textiles by pursuing textile media that are state-of-the-art, aesthetic, and highly sensitive to satisfy the requirements of modern industrial textile such as high quality, high performance, and high sensitivity. 3) enabled new design ideas and creation of new styles by implementing structural innovation in industrial textiles that involved diversification of expression, diversity in materials, and emphasis on texture. In short, by combining new technology and traditional handicraft, Japan came up with a new sense of aesthetics that is highly original and high level and with which the rest of the world can easily sympathize, thereby presenting one of the most important guiding principles for future textiles.
Being a symbolic image to let traditional 'mother wonlee' contents characters known widely, need to be made in a way that can deliver the powerful message of korea An-dong traditional local contents and the value of regent story. Diagnosis and Prediction of urban industrial structure is a key subject for establishment of sustainable urban development plan. By this time, studies of industry-related urban spatial structure have been concentrated on measurement of space distribution by industry type mainly using data about urban industries or total worker numbers. Now, status of workers become an important issue so this study analyzed qualitative change of urban industrial structure in the view of space using work status classification system. For that, data for work status in 1994 and 2004 were collected in towns and villages, and space analysis units were coincided based on change data between 1994 and 2004. Then, it analyzed spatial distribution pattern of employment through qualitative standard called work status using GIS. The analysis results by work status type of Busan industrial structure in GIS circumstance were as below. First, traditional labor intensive industries met a limit and service and wholesale/retail sale industries went to be poor livelihood. Therefore, Busan's employment rate should be decreased and worker numbers were statistically increased, however, irregular and non-wage workers were suddenly increased. So, it was determined that the quality of employment in Busan area came down. Second, a traditional downtown area has dwindled; on the other hand, employment has been increased in new town or new industrial complex and in the area developed services rather than the manufacturing industry. It is expected that the result of this study may be meaningful as data to prepare for longterm industrial development plan through qualitative evaluation called work status as well as to make behavior pattern of industrial structure which is basis of urban development.

The demand for beef as a protein source is increasing worldwide, although in most countries beef accounts for considerably less than half of total meat consumption. Beef also provides a highly desirable eating experience in developed countries and, increasingly, in developing countries. The sustainability of beef production has different meanings in the various geographical and socio-economic regions of the world. Natural resources including land mass and uses, rainfall and access to livestock feed, and the robustness of the economy are major determinants of the perception of beef sustainability. In this overview of the 2016 International Symposium on "Future Beef in Asia" and this subsequent Special Edition of the Asian-Australasian Journal of Animal Sciences on "Current Situation and Future Prospects for Global Beef Production", the contributions have been grouped into the following categories: Countries in Southeast Asia; Europe; and Countries producing highly marbled beef for export and/or domestic consumption. They also include reference to Special Topics including marbled beef production, and use of "omics" technologies to enhance beef quality assurance. Among these broad categories, notable differences exist across countries in the production and marketing of beef. These reflect differences in factors including natural resource availability and climate, population size, traditional culture and degree of economic development including industrial and technological developments. We trust that the International Symposium and this Special Edition on Current Situation and Future Prospects for Global Beef Production, the contents of which that are briefly summarized in this paper, will serve as a valuable resource for the livestock industries, researchers and students with an interest in enhancing the prospects for sustainable, efficient beef production that satisfies the growing size and complexity of consumer demands and markets for beef.

The Ruhr area in the Northwestern Germany grew rapidly from the 1850s based on coal mining and iron and steel industries, playing a key role as an engine of industrial growth. Since the 1950s, however, the area has been experiencing a serious economic crisis as the traditional industries declined. The crisis was comprised of increasing unemployment and abandoned industrial lands and facilities. Oberhausen and Gelsenkirhen are typical cities of the Ruhr, characterized by such economic crisis. Oberhausen attempted to solve the problems by developing a large leisure town, composed of a sopping mall, restaurants, and other arts and cultural activities, on a former steel mill site. Gelsenkirhen, on the other hand, went on to promote renewable energy industries, business incubators, and energy-saving housing complexes. This paper analyses the processes and outcomes of urban revitalization policies of the two cities, based on the path dependence theory, and draws theoretical and policy implications.
