신경망 추정기를 이용한 2관성 공진계의 속도 제어 (Speed Control of Two-Mass System Using Neural Network Estimator)

  • A new control scheme using a torsional torque estimator based on a neural network is proposed and investigated for improving control characteristics of the high-performance motion control system. This control method presents better performance in the corresponding speed vibration response, compared with the disturbance observer-based control method. This result comes from the fact that the proposed neural network estimator keeps the self-learning capability, whereas the disturbance observer-based torque estimator with low pass filter should dbjust the time constant of the adopted filter according to the natural resonance frequency detemined by considering the system parameters varied. The simulation results shows the validity of the proposed control scheme.

자동차 공회전시 기어 치타음에 영향을 미치는 파라미터에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Parameters Influence upon Automotive Neutral Gear Rattle)

  • The non-periodic angular accelerations of engine are the major cause of gear rattle. This gear rattle is based on the existence of a backlash between the drive gear of input shaft and the free gear of output shaft in the gearbox. Especially, the neutral gear rattle have a very bad effect on the ride quality. Test-rig was constructed in order to evaluate the parameter influence upon the neutral gear rattle. Also, each different 4 type torsional characteristic of clutch was manufactured. Experimental conditions are the use of each different 4 type torsional characteristic of clutch and oil temperature variation in gearbox. In case of the same stiffiness of pre-damper type clutch at idling, the clutch of large hysteresis showed dam- ping effects at the 2nd input gear and the 2nd output gear. Also, the main-damper type clutch was shown to large resonance phenomenon at the 2nd input gear. Accordingly, main-damper type clutch was unapp- roriate at idling.

  • Nowadays, diesel power plant using low speed two stroke diesel engine is widely used in islands and restricted areas. Considerations were given to its benefit of high thermal efficiency, reliability and durability compared to the other prime movers. However, various types of engine vibration affect neighboring buildings to their structural vibration. For this, diesel power plant are held liable for the troubles caused by these vibration. These are mainly due to the X- and H-type engine vibrations which we excited by the X- and H- guide force moment. Authors have identified a structural vibration of new pattern called ‘T-mode vibration’ due to the torsional vibration of shafting system. In this paper, T-mode vibration is analyzed through an experimental method based on the global vibration measurement.

  • The non-linear torsional vibrations of the propulsion shafting system with viscous damper are considered. The motion is modeled by non-linear differential equations of second order. the equivalent system is modeled by two mass softening system with Duffing's oscillator. The steady state response of a equivalent system is analyzed for primary resonance only. Harmonic balance method as a non-linear vibration analysis technique is used. Jump phenomena are explained. The primary unstable region obtained by the Mathieu equation is investigated. Both theoretical and measured results of the propulsion shafting system are compared with and evaluated. As a result of comparisons with both data, it was confirmed that Duffing's oscillator can be used as a analysis method in the modeling of the propulsion shafting system attached viscous damper with non-linear stiffness.

  • Nonlinear characteristics of piezoelectric-type micro actuator used for hard disk drives are experimentally analyzed using Hutchinson's Magnum acturator. The nonlinear effects include hysteresis, superharmonic resonance, jump phenomenon, and shifting of natural frequencies. The effects of exciting frequency and input voltage on the nonlinear phenomena are investigated. It is shown that the micro actuator has the typical 3 times superhamonic resonances coupled to both 1st torsional and sway modes of the suspension.

  • Geometries for several representative quinolone carboxylate type antibacterials have been calculated by computer graphics/molecular mechanics energy minimization procedures using both MM2 and AMBER force fields. The calculated geometries were found to be in reasonable agreements with the corresponding X-ray crystal structures. It has been pointed out that notwithstanding the weaknesses associated with calculating the resonance and hydrogen bonding contributions, the employed methods are capable of generating credible ring geometries and torsional angle dispositions of N(1)-ethyl and 3-carboxylate substituents of the quinolones.

  • Nonlinear vibration characteristics of a piezoelectric-type micro actuator used for hard disk drives are experimentally studied. The nonlinear characterisitics include hysteresis, superharmonic resonance, jump phenomenon, and shifting of natural frequencies. The vibration modes and frequencies of the commercial actuator of the Hutchinson's Magnum series are measured using a laser vibrometer. From harmonic excitation to the PZT acturator, we observe interesting hysteresis patterns with 3 times input frequency. It is shown that the micro actuator has the typical 3 times superhamonic resonances coupled to the first torsional and sway modes of the suspension.

  • This study researched cause of resonance noise for BLDC motor used in the refrigerator. it is difficult to measure dynamic characteristics for small sized fan & rotor system with conventional excitation method. Therefore this study performed electric exiting method and natural frequency method using microphone instead of conventional excitation and showed validity of these methods. Study result showed that tortional vibration frequency of fan & rotor system and natural bending frequency of the fan were matched with exciting frequency of BLDC motor caused by commutating ripple torque. And this frequency match caused resonance of the system. The study analyzed main parameters of this phenomenon and suggested alternative solution.

  • This paper presents the position tracking control of a laser scanning mirror system in which piezoelectic actuator is incorporated. Using the shear mode of the piezoelectric actuator,angular oscillation of a laser scanning mirror is derived. Torsion bar is rhen designed and attached to the piezoelctric actuator in order to magnify the amplitude generated by the actuator. Finite element modeling and analysis are essntial for designing the piezoelectic actuator. The torsional resonance mode of the piezoelectric actuator is found from the model analysis of the actuator and the mechanical shear is matched with the driving frequency. Transfer function between the electrical excitation and the mechanical shear deformation at resonance frequency is found form the response of the actuator calculated by the finite element analysis and the governing equation of the system is derived from d'Alembert's principle. Tracking control performance for desired trajectory which is, in fact, sinusoidal curve is presented in order to demonstrate the validity of the proposed system.

알미늄 압출재의 차음 구조 설계 (Design of Aluminium Extruded Panel for Sound Insulation)

  • Aluminium extruded panel is the most important element for sound insulation in a express train. However, comparing with the flat plate with the same weight, the extruded panel shows remarkably low sound transmission loss above the 1st local resonance frequency, which is determined by the dimension of the core structure. Preceding study showed the possibility of the improvement of sound insulation performance by properly designing the core dimension. By the proper core design, local resonance frequency shifts to higher frequency region without any reduction of bending or torsional strength and without any weight increase. Based upon this result, this study investigates in detail the design modification of the core structure of the aluminium extruded panel used in a express train under development, in aspect of sound insulation. Design result is compared with those of other developed models.
