In this paper, an integration tool for the factory automation communication is proposed. It can apply to three kinds of Fieldbus, Manufacturing Message Specification and Personal Digital Assistance based systems in the factory environment. This paper focuses on the development of the testing tool and object-oriented design concepts for the synthesis of communication modules from the factory level to the field level. The integration of each communication module in the distributed environment gains importance for the realization of heterogeneous information processing systems.

In today's engineering world, any product development activity requires the expertise and the interaction of many different engineering. Therefore the various activities in a product development architecture are highly distributed and interdependent. The interdependence may be due to sharing of databases and transfer of information between various activities. This will require an integrated product model. That can support distributed design such that participants from different backgrounds collaborate towards one common goal. This paper presents the architecture of the product modeling system for the integration of CAD and CAE. It then reports on the study of STEP 10303 and UG open API focused on the integration of different technical environments.

건설공사에서 발생하는 리스크는 시공단계에 많이 발생하므로 공정관리와 통합하여 관리할 수 있다면 효율적일 것이다. 본 연구에서는 공정관리 프로그램을 이용하여 공정리스크를 통합관리하는 방법을 제안하고 있다. 제안된 방법은 사용자 프로그래밍(Visual Basic Application)이 가능한 Microsoft Project에서 구현되었으며, 공사관리자가 공정표를 작성하고 일정관리를 수행하는 과정에서 리스크를 예측하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

Generating NC-code from 3D part model needs a lot of effort to make many decisions, including machining area, tool change data, tool data, cutting condition, etc., by using either manual or computer aided method. This effort can be reduced by integration of automated process planning and NC-code generation. In case of generating NC code with a help of the process planning system, many data mentioned from the process planning can be used. It means that we can create NC-code about a full part. In this study, integration of FAPPS(Feature based Automatic Process Planning) with a NC-code generating module is described and additional data to adapt NC-code for machine shop is discussed.

This study has been focused on the development of an open architecture CNC system and integration of core application technology for machine tool such as a remote monitoring/diagnosis system, NURBS interpolation, and cutting process simulation. To do this, we have developed a comprehensive CNC software including the basic HMI, screen editor, ASF, and visual builder. As a control hardware system for machine tool, the universal I/O module and CNC main unit have been developed. Then the remote monitoring/diagnosis system and NURBS interpolation have been implemented in the CNC software. The cutting simulation software will be used for enhancing the productivity of machine tools. Through a simulator and test bed, the whole technology has been verified.

The rapid growth of Hardware technologies and Network fitted to us Ubiquitous Computing Life[1]. Ubiquitous Computing integrates computation into the environment, rather than having computers which are distinct objects. There are many computational things like a Sensor Network, RFID, GPS, Mobile devices, and so on. Ubiquitous Data Integration and Management are new paradigms. The goals of UDI Service Platform are data protection for the distributed data on pervasive computing devices and data distribution to appropriate users with best distribution policies. To implement the idea we evaluate the logical schema Cyber View that is a management tool.

How can an automated essay scoring (AES) program, which provides feedback for essays, be a formative tool for improving ESL writing? In spite of the increasing demands for English writing proficiency, English writing instruction has not been effective for teaching and learning because of a lack of timely and accurate feedback. In this context, AES as a possible solution has been gaining the attention of educators and scholars in ESL/EFL writing education because it can provide consistent and prompt feedback for student writers. This experimental study examined the impact of different types of feedback for a college ESL writing program using the Criterion AES system. The results reveal the positive impact of AES in a college-level ESL course and differences between the teacher's feedback and the AES feedback. The findings suggest that AES can be effectively integrated into ESL writing instruction as a formative assessment tool.

In order to overcome social exclusion and to integrate social housing, it is necessary to plan a communal space in urban collective housing so that residents can have belonging sense and community consciousness. In this study, it is necessary to consider the linkage between social integration and residential space, and to derive the characteristics of planning the collective housing for social integration. We analyzed the planning characteristics of MVRDV's communal spaces of collective housing and suggested a method of planning communal spaces of urban collective housing for social integration. Urban density is an important tool and background for MVRDV's design methodology. For this reason, MVRDV's collective housing is selected as a case study in this study. As a result of case analysis, openness and connection characteristics should be considered by using various devices such as glass exterior, balcony, and void in planning the communal space in urban collective housing for social integration. However, since it has appeared in many cases, it can be criticized that the application of this is merely a logic. In other words, it is possible to suggest that we should actively introduce less accessible access. This problem should be solved through more case studies.

The person's behaviors are interactive with sensory processing ability. So sensory processing ability is very important. Most of tools which evaluate sensory processing are developed for the child. But sensory integrated problems are not restricted to the child. It is possible for sensory integrative problems to happen independent of the intellectual level and the social stratum. And sensory integrative problems are distributed in all age. Adults who have a sensory defensiveness use various coping strategies. But it does not solve a basic sensory defensive problem. Previous studies reported the fact that the sensory integrative treatment has a high treatment effect in these people. In this paper, we present the necessity for adult's sensory processing evaluating tool. We introduces Adolescent/Adult Sensory profile to be translated into Korean. It will discriminate adults who have sensory defensiveness from adult. It will provide these people with the suitable help.
