RGB 작물 생육지수를 활용한 콩 한발 스트레스 판별기술 평가 (Detection of Drought Stress in Soybean Plants using RGB-based Vegetation Indices)

  • 본 연구는 콩의 한발 스트레스 판별에 대하여 RGB 영상에 기반한 작물 생육 지수의 적용 가능성과 한계점을 구명하기 위해 수행되었다. RGB 영상에서 추출한 생육 지수들과 한발 스트레스에 반응하는 대표적인 표현형 지표들(군락 피복도, 엽면적, 엽록소 함량 등)과의 높은 상관관계를 통해 영상 기반 생육 진단 모델개발의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 다만 판별의 정확도와 해상도를 개선시키기 위해서는 향후 다양한 재배조건에서 지속적인 성능 평가가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 RGB 영상을 활용한 콩환경 스트레스 판별에 있어서 영상 전처리, 영상 분석방법, 생육 지수 정량화 기술 개발에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이며, 개발된 생육 인자 예측 모델은 환경 스트레스 조기 진단을 통한 영농 의사결정 지원 모델의 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

지하 공동의 탐지와 모니터링을 위한 고정밀 중력탐사 (A Microgravity for Mapping and Monitoring the Subsurface Cavities)

  • 지하 공동은 토지의 이용과 개발을 제한할 뿐 아니라 안전과 환경에 심각한 우려를 준다. 우리나라는 석회암이 널리 분포하고 폐광산이 많으며 도심이 확장되고 토지의 개발이 활발하여, 지하 공동에 의한 지반 안전과 환경 보존 문제를 안고 있다. 전남 무안군 덕보들에 한국지질자원연구원에서 마련한 물리탐사 실험장에서 지하 공동의 탐지와 모니터링을 위한 고정밀 중력탐사를 하였다. 중력은 약 30 m 간격의 논둑길을 따라 5 m 간격으로 모두 800여 측점에서 AutoGrav CG-3 중력계로 측정하였으며, 측점의 절대적 위치 오차는 수 mm 이하로 유지하였다. 중력 측선은 MS (minimum support) 역산으로 밀도 분포를 작성하였으며, 고분해능 3차원 중력 역해의 비유일성을 줄이기 위하여 Euler 디컨벌루션의 해를 제한 조건으로 이용하는 역산 방법을 고안하였다. 역산에 의하여 작성한 밀도 분포는 잔여 중력 분포와 전체적으로 잘 일치하였으며, 특히 공동과 관련된 것으로 예상되는 3곳의 중력 이상대의 밀도 분포 형태, 즉 공동의 위치 뿐 아니라 공동형태와 발달 양상을 잘 보여주었다. 이러한 해석 결과는 시추 주상도와 매우 잘 일치하였다. 탐사 실험장의 진입로에서 그라우팅을 전후하여 시간차 중력 모니터링을 하였다. 탐사 조건에 의한 불일치는 기준점의 관측 중력을 비교하여 조정하였다. MS 역산으로 작성한 그라우팅 전, 후의 밀도 분포를 비교하여 그라우팅의 효과를 검토하였다. 이 현장 사례를 통하여 ${\mu}Gal$ 수준의 정밀도와 정확도의 고정밀 중력탐사는 지하 공동을 탐지할 뿐 아니라 공동의 분포와 발달 양상을 확인하는 가장 직접적이고 효과적인 수단이 됨을 보여주었다. 또한, 시간차 중력 모니터링은, 여러 가지 오차 요인들이 있지만, 시간의 경과에 따른 지하 밀도 분포의 변화를 관측하는 데 효과적임을 보여주었다.

인공위성 레이더 간섭기술을 이용한 조간대 지형도 작성에 관한 연구 (Intertidal DEM Generation Using Satellite Radar Interferometry)

  • 조간대 지역의 고해상 지형도는 해수 운동에 의한 퇴적 및 침식량의 변화와 같이 과학적인 연구의 기초자료로 쓰일 뿐만 아니라 연안 습지의 실제적인 관리 및 환경변화 모니터링의 도구로서도 그 활용의 가치가 높다. 그러나 조간대는 하상 퇴적물의 유입과 조석현상에 의해 빠르게 변화하고 있어 원격탐사와 같이 단기간에 넓은 지역을 조사할 수 있는 기술의 적용이 필요하다. 레이더 간섭기술은 가장 보편적이면서 성공적인 고해상 지형도 작성 기술로 알려져 있으나, 조간대에서는 지표노출시간의 제약 및 빠른 상태변화로 인해 일반적인 repeat-pass 간섭기술로는 충분한 긴밀도를 얻기 힘들다. 이 연구에서는 재방문주기가 짧은 Cosmo-SkyMed 1일 간격 관측자료와 ERS2-ENVISAT 30분 간격 관측자료를 이용하여 레이더 간섭기술을 이용한 조간대 지형도 작성을 실험하였다. 두 자료 모두 긴 수직기선으로 인한 높은 고도민감도와 짧은 관측주기로 인한 높은 긴밀도로 간섭위상을 구할 수 있었으나, Cosmo-SkyMed 관측자료에서는 대기에 의한 위상지연 효과와 조석에 의한 조간대 표층의 함수율 변화로 인하여 조간대와 같이 평평한 지역의 지형정보를 추출하는데에 어려움이 발생한다. 반면에 ERS2-ENVISAT 관측자료는 이종센서간의 관측중심주파수 차이를 상쇄하기 위해 설정된 긴 수직기선 덕분에 매우 높은 고도민감도를 가지며, 30분이라는 짧은 관측주기는 간섭쌍을 이루는 두 영상에 포함된 대기지연효과를 대부분 상쇄시키므로 조간대의 지형도 작성에 이상적인 자료로 판단된다.

지표 부근에서의 노멀전기검층 수치 모델링 (Numerical Simulation of Normal Logging Measurements in the Proximity of Earth Surface)

  • 국내에서 노멀전기검층은 지반조사, 지하수 환경조사, 지열조사, 지질조사, 광물자원 평가 등의 다양한 분야에서 널리 이용되고 있다. 노멀전기검층은 지표 전기비저항탐사법과는 달리 완전공간에 대한 자료를 취득하기 때문에 지표부근에 수위가 위치하는 시추공에서 자료를 취득하는 경우, 수위 및 지표에 대한 영향을 고려해야 한다. 이 연구는 노멀전기검층 존데, 전류리턴전극, 기준점전위전극, 시추공내 지하수위 등을 포함하는 실제 물리검층 환경과 동일한 조건에서 노멀전기검층을 시물레이션하여 지표 및 지하수 수위가 노멀전기검층에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 수치 모델링은 2차원 목표지향 자기적응 고차 hp 유한요소법(2D goal-oriented high-order self-adaptive hp finite element method)을 이용하였다(여기서 h는 요소의 크기, p는 노드에서의 근사 차수). 이 알고리듬을 이용하여 측정한 겉보기비저항의 오차가 1%보다 작도록 계산할 수 있는 최적 hp 격자를 구성함으로써 매우 정밀한 결과를 얻었다. 수치실험결과, 지표부근에서 취득한 노멀전기검층 자료는 기준점전위전극이 시추공에 가까울수록 자료의 왜곡이 증가하며 장노멀전기검층에서의 왜곡이 단노멀전기검층에서 보다 심함을 알 수 있었다.

원격탐사 자료를 이용한 말라리아 연구 : 보건지리학적 과제와 전망 (Remote Sensing Applications for Malaria Research : Emerging Agenda of Medical Geography)

  • 지구온난화로 대표되는 전반적인 기후변화 속에서도 지역적인 기상조건에 따라 말라리아 감염 사례의 증감이 비교적 민감하게 영향 받는 것으로 사료된다. 말라리아를 매개하는 모기의 서식환경에 직접적인 영향을 주는 기후환경적인 인자, 즉 강수, 기온, 지표수 분포, 토양수분, 토지이용에 대한 광범위한 관측과 추정에 원격탐사 자료의 적용이 매우 중요한 수단이 되었다. 다국적 원격탐사 센서의 개발이 이어지고 있고, 공간 및 분광해상도 면에서 기술적인 진화를 보이고 있으며, 자료 획득에 필요한 비용도 크게 줄어드는 등 말라리아를 비롯한 모기매개 감염병 연구에 원격탐사 기법의 적용이 크게 각광받을 전망이다. 우리나라의 경우, 1980년대에 퇴치되었던 것으로 보고된 말라리아는 1990년대 중반부터 크게 증가하여 2000년 이후 증감을 거듭하고 있어 보건관리의 주요 대상으로 떠올랐다. 감염자수로 볼 때, 휴전선 인근 지역에서 큰 비중을 차지하고 있기 때문에 말라리아 보균 모기의 북방 유입설 등 지리적인 특성에 주목할 필요가 있다. 말라리아 매개모기의 환경적인 서식조건은 모기 개체수 규모를 추정하는 데에 중요한 역할을 하지만, 말라리아 감염과 전파는 환경조건 외에도 인간의 활동, 인구구성, 경관의 구조, 거주지와 매개모기 서식처간의 공간적 관계 등 매우 복합적인 보건지리학적 메카니즘의 산물이라는 점을 이해해야 한다.

2차원 수리-역학적 연계 입자유동코드를 사용한 가스생산 유발지진 모델링: 네덜란드 그로닝엔 천연가스전에서의 지진 사례 연구 (Modelling Gas Production Induced Seismicity Using 2D Hydro-Mechanical Coupled Particle Flow Code: Case Study of Seismicity in the Natural Gas Field in Groningen Netherlands)

  • 본 연구에서는 2차원 수리-역학적연계 개별요소모델링(DEM)을 사용하여 네델란드 그로닝엔(Groningen) 천연가스전 저류층의 유발지진을 모사하였다. 수치해석 코드는 ITASCA社의 상용프로그램인 PFC2D (Particle Flow Code 2D)를 사용하였으며 본 수치해석 연구에 적용하기 위해 수리-역학적 연계 모델 외 1) 비균질 저류층 압력분포 초기화, 2) 비선형 압력-시간이력 경계조건, 3) 국소 응력 분포 계산 등의 개별모듈을 추가개발, 적용하였다. 그로닝엔 가스전에 분포하는 복잡한 단층 형상을 포함하는 40 × 50 km2 크기의 2차원 모델을 생성하였고, 1960년부터 2020년까지 약 60년 동안의 가스생산, 즉 압 력저하로 인한 단층의 파괴거동을 모사하였다. 유발지진의 시공간적 발생을 수치해석모델로 재현하였고 그 발생 메커니즘을 규명하였다. 또한 저류층 압축으로부터 지표에서의 지반침하의 분포를 예측하였고 그로닝엔에서의 실측자료 사이에 유사성을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서 소개한 2차원 수리-역학적연계 개별요소모델링(DEM)의 복잡한 지질조건과 수리-역학적 연계 프로세스에 의한 단층거동을 구현할 수 있는 툴(tool)로서의 활용성을 확인하였다.

설명가능 AI 기반의 변수선정을 이용한 기업부실예측모형 (Corporate Bankruptcy Prediction Model using Explainable AI-based Feature Selection)

  • 기업의 부실 예측 모델은 기업의 재무 상태를 객관적으로 모니터링하는 데 필수적인 도구 역할을 한다. 적시에 경고하고 대응 조치를 용이하게 하며 파산 위험을 완화하고 성과를 개선하기 위한 효과적인 관리 전략을 수립할 수 있도록 지원한다. 투자자와 금융 기관은 금융 손실을 최소화하기 위해 부실 예측 모델을 이용한다. 기업 부실 예측을 위한 인공지능(AI) 기술 활용에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 이 분야에 대한 광범위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 해석 가능성과 신뢰성이 강조되며 기업 부실 예측에서 설명 가능한 AI 모델에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 널리 채택된 SHAP(SHapley Additive exPlanations) 기법은 유망한 성능을 보여주었으나 변수 수에 따른 계산 비용, 처리 시간, 확장성 문제 등의 한계가 있다. 이 연구는 전체 데이터 세트를 사용하는 대신 부트스트랩 된 데이터 하위 집합에서 SHAP 값을 평균화하여 변수 수를 줄이는 새로운 변수 선택 접근법을 소개한다. 이 기술은 뛰어난 예측 성능을 유지하면서 계산 효율을 향상시키는 것을 목표로 한다. 해석 가능성이 높은 선택된 변수를 사용하여 랜덤 포레스트, XGBoost 및 C5.0 모델을 훈련하여 분류 결과를 얻고자 한다. 분류 결과는 고성능 모델 설계를 목표로 soft voting을 통해 생성된 앙상블 모델의 분류 정확성과 비교한다. 이 연구는 1,698개 한국 경공업 기업의 데이터를 활용하고 부트스트래핑을 사용하여 고유한 데이터 그룹을 생성한다. 로지스틱 회귀 분석은 각 데이터 그룹의 SHAP 값을 계산하는 데 사용되며, SHAP 값 평균은 최종 SHAP 값을 도출하기 위해 계산된다. 제안된 모델은 해석 가능성을 향상시키고 우수한 예측 성능을 달성하는 것을 목표로 한다.

레이더 산란계 편파 차이율을 이용한 콩 생육 추정 (Estimation of Soybean Growth Using Polarimetric Discrimination Ratio by Radar Scatterometer)

  • 본 연구에서는 레이더파 편파 차이비율에서 얻어진 밴드별 Polarimetric Discrimination Ratio (PDR)와 콩 생육인자 및 토양수분과의 관계를 분석하고 PDR를 이용하여 콩 생육 및 토양수분을 추정하고자 하였다. 기후 등의 영향을 받지 않고 10분 단위로 레이더 산란 측정을 할 수 있는 L, C, X-밴드 레이더 산란계 자동측정시스템을 이용하여 PDR와 콩 생육인자 변화를 모니터링 하였다. 콩 생육시기에 따른 밴드별 PDR과 콩 생육인자 변화를 관측한 결과 L-밴드 PDR이 C-, X-밴드 PDR보다 높게 나타났고, 밴드별 PDR이 가장 높게 보인 시기는 L-밴드PDR (DOY 271), C-, X-밴드 PDR (DOY 273)로 거의 일치하였고, 엽면적지수, 식생수분함량, 생체중, 초장 등 콩생육인자들도 동일한 경향을 보였는데 콩 파종 이후 증가하다가 9월 27일 (DOY 270)에 최대값을 보인 후 감소하였다. 하지만 토양수분은 콩 생육인자들과 다른 경향을 보였다. 생육기간동안 토양수분의 변이가 컸고 PDR과 상관성 도 높지 않았다. 하지만 엽면적지수가 2이하 일 때 콩PDR이 증가함에 따라 토양수분도 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 밴드별 PDR과 콩 생육인자와의 상관관계를 분석하였다. L-밴드 PDR에서 생체중 (r=$0.96^{***}$), 엽면적지수 (r=$0.91^{***}$),식생수분함량 (r=$0.94^{***}$), 토양수분 (r=$0.86^{**}$)등 모든 콩생육인자들과 상관계수가 가장 높게 나타났다. C-, X-밴드 PDR에서도 토양수분을 제외한 다른 인자들과 대체로 상관성이 높았다 ($r{\geq}0.83$). 전체 생육기간에서 PDR과 토양수분과의 상관성은 낮았지만 엽면적지수 2 이하 일 때(DOY 220) 모든 밴드에서 PDR과 토양수분과의 상관계수가 전체 생육단계에서 조사한 것 보다 높게 나타났다. 콩 생육인자들과의 상관분석에서 상관계수가 가장 높은 L-밴드 PDR를 이용하여 콩 생육인자 추정을 위한 회귀식을 작성하고 생육인자 실측값과 추정값을 비교하였다. L-밴드 PDR과 생육인자들과의 관계를 비교해 본 결과 생체중 ($L^2$=0.95), 엽면적지수 ($L^2$=0.89), 식생수분함량 ($L^2$=0.93)에서 결정계수가 높게 나타났고 생육인자 실측값과 추정값을 1:1 선상에서 비교해 본 결과 작은 오차를 보여 추정모형의 유효성이 높다는 것이 증명되었다. 본 연구를 통해 PDR를 이용하여 콩 생육 및 토양수분을 추정할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N.
