  • Multichip packaging was achieved the best solution to significantly reduce thermal resistance at the same time, to increase luminance intensity in LEDs packaging application. For the packaging, thermal spreading resistance is an important parameter to get influence the total thermal performance of LEDs. In this study, silicon-based multichip light emitting diodes (LEDs) packaged module has been examined for thermal characteristics in several parameters. Compared to the general conventional single LED packaged chip module, multichip LED packaged module has many advantages of low cost, low density, small size, and low thermal resistance. This analyzed module is comprised of multichip LED array, which consists of 32 LED packaged chips with supplement power of 0.2 W at every single chip. To realize the extent of thermal distribution, the computer-aided design model of 6.4 W Si-based multichip LED module was designed and was performed by the simulation basis of actual fabrication flow. The impact of thermal distribution is analyzed in alternative ways both optimizing numbers of fins and the thickness of that heatsink. In addition, a thermal resistance model was designed and derived from analytical theory. The optimum simulation results satisfies the expectations of the design goal and the measurement of IR camera results. tart after striking space key 2 times.

  • In particle-in-cell (PIC) simulation studies related to ion-ion two-stream instability, a reduced ion-to-electron mass ratio is often employed to save computation time. But it was not clearly verified how electrons dynamics are coupled with the slower evolution of ion-ion interactions under the external electric field. We have studied the ion beam driven instability using a 1D electrostatic PIC code by comparing different rescaling of parameter with real ion mass from the reference simulation with reduced ion mass. As the external electric field is stronger, the excited unstable mode range was more sensitively affected by the system size with the real mass ratio than the reduced ion mass. The results show that the reduced mass ratio should be used cautiously in PIC code as the electron dynamics can modify the ion instabilities. Additionally we found the formation of electron flat-top distribution in the final saturation stage. Simulation results show that in the early phase electrostatic solitary waves are quasi-periodically formed, but later they are fully dissipated resulting in heated, flat-top distributions. New electron beam components are occasionally formed. These are a consequence of the interaction with solitary wave structures. We parametrically investigate the development of electron phase space distributions for various drift speeds of ion beams and temperature ratios between ions and electrons

  • The Markov modulated Brownian motion is a substantial generalization of the classical Brownian Motion. On the other hand, the Markovian arrival process (MAP) is a point process whose family is dense for any stochastic point process and is used to approximate complex stochastic counting processes. In this paper, we consider a superposition of the Markov modulated Brownian motion (MMBM) and the Markovian arrival process of jumps which are distributed as the bilateral ph-type distribution, the class of which is also dense in the space of distribution functions defined on the whole real line. In the model, we assume that the inter-arrival times of the MAP depend on the underlying Markov process of the MMBM. One of the subjects of this paper is introducing how to obtain the first passage probabilities of the superposed process using a stochastic doubling algorithm designed for getting the minimal solution of a nonsymmetric algebraic Riccatti equation. The other is to provide eigenvalue and eigenvector results on the superposed process to make it possible to apply the GTH-like algorithm, which improves the accuracy of the doubling algorithm.

  • In order to increase thrust of the space launch vehicle, liquid oxygen as an oxidizer and kerosene or liquid hydrogen as a fuel are generally used. The oxidizer tank and fuel tanks are manufactured by composite materials such as CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) to increase pay load. The thermal stress of the cryogenic propellant tank should be considered because it has large temperature gradient. In this study, to confirm the design integrity of the oxidizer tank of liquid oxygen, a numerical analysis was conducted on the thermal stress and temperature distribution of the tank for various charging speed of the cryogenic fluid from 100 ~ 900 LPM taking into account the evaporation rate of the liquid nitrogen by convective heat transfer outside the tank and boiling heat transfer inside the tank. The thermal stress was also calculated coupled with the temperature distribution of the CFRP tank. Based on the analysis results, the charging speed of the LN2 can majorly affects the charging time and the resultant thermal stress.

  • The devices for the digital home in ubiquitous environment aim at providing multimedia services which are not limited to the time and space. However, it does not ensure the fair use of digital contents and causes damage to the contents providers because of indiscriminate distribution of digital contents and the use of illegal contents. DRM system for solving this problems cannot protect the license stored on digital home devices and manage license by redistribution of contents. In this paper, digital forensic model that enables the misuse detection and previous interception of large-scale illegal distribution for contents and license, and also enables the creation and management of digital evidence for legal countermeasure.

  • This paper concerns with forced dynamic response of thick functionally graded (FG) beam resting on viscoelastic foundation including porosity impacts. The dynamic point load is proposed to be triangle point loads in time domain. In current analysis the beam is assumed to be thick, therefore, the two-dimensional plane stress constitutive equation is proposed to govern the stress-strain relationship through the thickness. The porosity and void included in constituent is described by three different distribution models through the beam thickness. The governing equations are obtained by using Lagrange's equations and solved by finite element method. In frame of finite element analysis, twelve-node 2D plane element is exploited to discretize the space domain of beam. In the solution of the dynamic problem, Newmark average acceleration method is used. In the numerical results, effects of porosity coefficient, porosity distribution and foundation parameters on the dynamic responses of functionally graded viscoelastic beam are presented and discussed. The current model is efficient in many applications used porous FGM, such as aerospace, nuclear, power plane sheller, and marine structures.

  • Purpose: Nowadays, café shop chains are becoming a trend and growing rapidly in Vietnam. There are numerous people who spend their time in cafes and this has become part of the current lifestyle. Therefore, cafe chains owners compete in offering new cafe concepts to attract customers and deliver their values to customers effectively. To gain competitiveness and attractiveness, a cafe must possess an interesting servicescape and provide a good impression toward customers in a cafe. Therefore, this study is to evaluate the role of servicescape as an antecedent to service quality and behavioral intentions in the Vietnam market. Research design, data, and methodology: The study was conducted through survey questionnaires who had used the service at coffee shop chains in cities of Vietnam. We apply the PLS-SEM method to analyze data and test hypotheses. Results: Servicescape is a second-order construct including hygiene, space, ambiance, design, and equipment. Servicescape also impacts directly on overall service quality, employee service quality, and behavioral intention. Conclusions: Servicescape plays a role as an antecedent for service quality and behavioral intention. Therefore, it confirms the importance of managing servicescape in order to deliver more value to customers through improving service quality so that enhance intention to return to use services in coffee shop chains.

  • As the population of the elderly increases drastically year by year in Korea, the more welfare centers for them are greatly needed. There are, however, a small number of public geriatric hospitals currently available. And a limited number of private-founded geriatric centers are under construction throughout the country. And the systematic standards for the spacial composition and departmental area distribution for them are not satisfactorily set up yet. The analytical study of the space composition and area distribution of the hospitals in question shows that publicly-shared spaces, such as day-room and lobby, are much more useful for their communications than private spaces, such as shut-in living rooms. It also shows that in-yards or in-gardens which are located in the center of the wards are very helpful for their comfortable long-term hospitalization. The shared spaces are recommended to be in sight of and within earshot of their caretakers. In relation with out-patient departments, the programs for the local elderly residents, such as the day-care center and recreation facilities are recommended to be prepared for their physical care and emotional treatment at a time by municipal welfare centers rather than by private institutions. The analytic study carried out in terms of departmental area distributions reveals that the areas for the wards are generally wider and areas for out-patient/or diagnosis departments are relatively narrower than those in the general hospitals. These area distributions seem to have come from the considerations of their relatively long-term staying in the centers than general hospitals and their mental stability as well.

  • Rock joints have an extremely important role in analyzing the mechanical stability and hydraulic characteristics of rock mass structures. Most rock joint parameters are generally indicated as a distribution by statistical techniques. In this research, calculation technique of Joint Center Volume (JCV) is analyzed, which is required for estimating the size distribution having the largest uncertainty among the joint parameters, then a new technique is proposed which is applicable regardless of the shape of survey window. The existing theoretical JCV calculation technique can be applied only to the plane window, and the complete enumeration techniques show the limitations in joint trace type and analysis time. This research aims to overcome the limitations in survey window shape and joint trace type through calculating JCV by using Monte Carlo simulation. The applicability of proposed technique is validated through the estimation results at non-planar survey windows such as curved surface and tunnel surface.

  • Purpose - Loading can decrease the productivity due to the possibility of carrying out with the opposite order of storage in container terminal. When the container is to be taken out, it is needed to move the container stacked upon the container to be carried out to other place temporarily. It is called as rehandling. Remarshalling, with the loading plan, is the arranging the containers before the ship arrives in order to avoid the rehandling during the carrying out. The present study tried to find out the factors affecting the efficiency when building the remarshalling plan with the utilization of neighboring storage space as a outer slot, and analyzed the efficiency of several remarshalling algorithms with the combination of those factors. Research design, data and methodology - The present study used, when the remarshalling plan is prepared for utilizing the outer slot, the simulation methods in order to compare the efficiency of the remarshalling algorithms which made with the factors affecting the efficiency. The factors affecting the efficiency are the method of making the child node, method of arrangement, and possibility of application of FIX. In order to analyze the affecting factors on the efficiency, several algorithms are prepared with the combination of production of the child node and the arrangement method with the availability of FIX application. With this algorithm, the effect of the factors on the efficiency after building up of remarshalling plan with the target on the bay with 10 rows, 8 columns, and 10 indices. Results - The method of rearrangement and making of a child node as the factor affecting the efficiency of remarshalling utilization of the outer bay were studied. It is efficient to combine the method of making a child node with MCS in order to reduce the number of moving the containers. For reducing the time in carrying out, it was found that all arrangement methods should be combined with RCS for the efficiency. The result of experiment shows the application of FIX with good result in case of succession ratio. In addition, when FIX was not applied, all of the most combinations resulted in short time in remarshalling. As a result, it can be concluded that the algorithm with proper combination of making the child node and the arrangement can increase the job efficiency based on the importance. Conclusion - The present study suggested and analyzed the algorithms with the combination of the arrangement method, the making of child node, and FIX. It is needed to develop the algorithm to judge the possibility whether the best remarshalling plan can be built or not within the bay in order to find a better method between the two cases such as within the bay and outer the bay. As a method for extending the study on the factors affecting the efficiency, it is possible to find out the way to build the remarshalling plan within the permitted time under any storage situation.
