소비자가 각 편의점에서 제공하는 제품과 행사 상품 등을 값싸게 구매하기 위해서는 해당 편의점의 홈페이지를 들어가거나 직접 방문하여 찾아야 한다. 본 연구에서는 각 편의점에서 어떤 제품이 행사 상품이며, 어떤 편의점에서 어떤 서비스를 제공하는지 여부를 검색하는 앱 프로그램을 개발한다. 본 앱을 사용하여 사용자는 여러 편의점에서 제공하는 행사 정보를 비롯한 각종 서비스를 실시간을 검색할 수 있다.

본 논문은 작업분석(Operational Analysis)을 이용하여 ATM 기반 수동 광 가입자 망(Passive Optical Network: PON)에서 광선로 종단 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 ATM-PON을 구성하는 각 블록에서 버퍼 구조에 따른 이용율, 쓰루풋, 그리고 라우팅 속도와 같은 시스템 파라미터를 사용하였다. 특히, 각 블록의 평균 응답시간과 방문률(visit ratio)를 구하고 시스템 성능을 저해하는 병목점을 찾았다. 본 논문에서는 622Mb/s 16x16 스위칭 블록이 병목점 블록임을 확인하였으며, 이 병목점은 셀 도착율이 증가함에 따라 손실률이 급격하게 증가함에 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to certify the actual state of JIT(Just-in-Time) production system's implementation of Korean manufacturing industries and to exhibit the appropriate JIT system considering the company's characteristics, for attain the superior competitiveness. To understand the current situations of JIT system's implementation a questionnaire study is performed. Total 152 valid questionnaires are collected by personal visit and mailing method. All the data is statistically analyzed by SPSS PC+ and SAS program and reviewed to develop a strategy for JIT implementation of Korean manufacturing companies.

Ten years have passed since my last visit to Korea on the occasion of the International Symposium on High Speed Rail Systems organized by the Korean Transport Institute in October 1989. At that time, it was the objective to introduce the maglev and VHSR (very high speed rail) systems with their different areas of application and to discuss them with local partners against the background of the Seoul-Pusan HSR project. Congratulations on the success of the Centennial seminar. I am much pleased to be invited to the memorable seminar and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Korean members' hospitality. Closed reduction using acrylic splints with circummandibular fixation has been known to be useful techniques in pediatric mandibular fractures. However, this technique has some shortcomings, including needs for impression taking or additional laboratory process, which can increase the exposure time of general anesthesia or make an additional sedation visit. Recently, the advancement of computer-aided maxillofacial surgery offers to clinicians to expansion of its application. This case report represents a technique of computer-assisted virtual reconstruction and computer-aided designed splint fabrication in a 2-year-old boy with mandibular body fracture.

Authors experienced a case of malignant melanoma of the mediastinum, At the time of first visit to the hospital, the female patient, aged 48, and had chief complaints of right shoulder pain that was radiated to its forearm and right Horner`s syndrome. In chest X-ray and CT, extrapulmonary circumscribed mass in the right apicomedial aspect of mediastinum was found. She had no nevus and no melanoma on entire skin area. We excised the tumor and confirmed it as malignant melanoma by histopathology.

Recently, the quantity of information that is accessible from the Internet is being dramatically increased. Searching the Web for useful information has therefore become increasingly difficult. Thus, much research has been done on web robots which perform internet information filtering based on user interest. If a web site which users want to visit is found, its content is searched by following the searching list or Web sites links in order. This search process takes a long time according as the number of page or site increases so that its performance need to be improved. In order to minimize unnecessary search with web robots, this paper proposes an efficient information collection system based on compare and merge method. In the proposed system, a web robot initially collects information from web sites which users register. From the next visit to the web sites, the web robot compares what it collected with what the web sites have currently. If they are different, the web robot updates what it collected. Only updated web page information is classified according to subject and provided to users so that users can access the updated information quickly.

The interest in wine has been increasing because of raised standard of living, increased leisure time, raised interest in health. Therefore, a few wine related tourism product has introduced to public including wine train to Young-dong region and overseas wine tour package. This study focused on motivation to visit overseas wine tour package in order to segment target wine tourism countries. As a result, three different markets were segmented and they showed different characteristics with regard to demographics, tourism behavior, and preferred wine tourism countries.

This paper describes how to use Profibus networks to support real-time industrial communications, that is, how to ensure the transmission of real-time messages within a maximum bound time. Profibus is based on a simplified timed token protocol, which is a well-proved solution for the real-time communication systems. However, Profibus differs from the timed token protocol, thus the usual timed token protocol has to be modified in order to be applied in Profibus. In fact, the real-time solutions for networks based on the timed token protocol rely on the possibility of allocating specific bandwidth for the real-time traffic. This means that a minimum amount of time to transmit the real-time messages is always guaranteed whenever each token is arrived. In other words, with the Profibus protocol, at least, one real-time message should be transmitted per every token visit in the worst case. It is required to control medium access properly to satisfy the message deadlines. In this paper, we have presented how to obtain the optimal network parameter for the Profibus protocol. The selected network parameter is valid regardless of the behavior of asynchronous messages.

The study aimed at investigating the living time as well as disability degree of the elderly based on daily living acting capability and living activity degree. The survey was conducted through the home-visit interview during half month at july, 1996 by the students of nursing department who were previously trained. The survey targeted the elderly aged 65 years or more living at home in rural area. The study tried to utilize Activity Inventory(AI) made for examing health and disease, disability degree, and living acting degree of the elderly. Among the AI's, there are Physical Activity of Daily Living(PADL), Instrumental Activity of Daily Living(IADL), maximum daily activity scope, and physical and mental activity level of the elderly. The daily living time is surveyed physiologic time(sleeping, eating and grooming), labor time(occupation, housekeeping and farming) and leisure time(reading, sport hobby-life). Results of the study show that social activity degree of the elderly is found to be lower than that PADL, LADL, and daily living scope. It seems that the elderly suffer from inability in daily life with lower social activity degree. But the labour time of the daily living time is the most amount time in the targeted 361 elderlys through random sampling. Therefore postponement of the disability of aging should be devised to encourage the labour activity of the elderly.
