This report concerns with three species of eriophyid mites on Licium chinensis in Korea. Of them, the external morphology of Aceria tjyingi (Manson 1973) was observed with Scanning Electron Microscope. The author reviewed three species of Korean eryophid mites and suggests Korean names of Aceria kuko kishida, A. macrodonis Keifer, and A. tjyngi (Manson), respectively.

We report three newly recorded campoplegine species, Klutiana jezoensis (Uchida, 1957), Dusona maruyamator Hinz, 1979, Dusona petiolator (Fabricius, 1804), for the first time from Korea. Genus Klutiana Betrem (1933), is firstly recorded from Korea. Photographs and diagnosis are provided for identification.

We investigate a three species food chain system with a Holling type IV functional response and impulsive perturbations. We find conditions for local and global stabilities of prey(or predator) free periodic solutions by applying the Floquet theory and the comparison theorems.

We collected three soil ciliates, Colpoda maupasi Enriquez, 1908, Tillina minima Alekperov, 1985, and Gonostomum singhii Kamra et al., 2008, in Korea. The two genera, Colpoda and Tillina, belong to the class Colpodea, and the other, Gonostomum belongs to the class Spirotrichea. We describe these species based on observations of live and protargol-impregnated specimens.

Three new Psammocinia species of the family Irciniidae, Psammocinia jejuensis, P. mosulpia and P. mammiformis, are described from Cheju Island and Namhae Island, Korea. The characteristic of these Psammocinian sponges is that they have the large quantity of sand grain in fibres, matrix and surface sand crust.

Three species of Brachyura (Crustacea), Rhynchoplax coralicola Rathbun, Hemigrapsus sinensis Rathbun and Nanosesarma gordoni (Shen), are added in the list as new to the fauna of Korea, with brief descriptions stressed on the male first pleopods (except Nanosesarma grodoni).

In this paper, three species stage-structured predator-prey model with time delayed and periodic constant impulsive perturbations of predator at fixed times is proposed and investigated. We show that the conditions for the global attractivity of prey(pest)-extinction periodic solution and permanence of the system. Our model exhibits a new modelling method which is applied to investigate impulsive delay differential equations. Our results give some reasonable suggestions for pest management.

This study on the five families (Anamixidae, Colomastigidae, Eophliantidae, Eusiridae, and Hyalidae) of fammaridean amphipods of Ulreung Island was based on the materials collected at eight localities in Ulreung Island. Nine speices of seven genera were identified. Of these, three (Paranamixis denticulus, Colomastix prionotos, and Hyale bisaeta) were new to science. Three species (Ceinina japonica, Eusiroides monoculoides japonicus, and Allorchestes angusta) were new recordsfor Korean waters. These six species were descirbed with illustrations.

The four zoeal stages of Alpheus brevicristatus De Haan, 1849 are described and illustrated in detail from larvae roared in the laboratory. The larvae of A. brevicristatus was compared with those of the other Alpheus and a key to the first zoeal larvae of three Korean Alpheus species is provided.
