Propagating waves (flexural, longitudinal and shear waves) travelling with constant amplitudes and evanescent waves decaying exponentially are generated on a cylindrical shell. Evanescent waves are generally generated in the vicinity of an vibration excitation point and near ends of the shell. But the evanescent waves can generates strong axial vibration at the ends of the cylindrical shell. The strong end axial vibration due to those evanescent waves has been observed in an author's previous paper dealing with measurements of the in-plane axial vibration of a finite cylindrical shell. In this paper the strong end axial vibration due to the evanescent waves has been theoretically analyzed. In order to analyze the vibration of the cylindrical shell, wave propagation approach has been implemented. Comparison between theoretical and experimental results for the axial vibration of the shell showed that the strong evanescent wave can be generated due to mode conversion (conversion from flexural wave to evanescent wave) at the ends of cylindrical shell. It also showed that the evanescent wave can generate the strong axial vibration near the ends of the cylindrical shell and that it can have effect even on 1/3 of the total length of the shell.

The triad interactions have been known to be important only for shoaling waves or finite depth wind waves. In deep water, they are insignificant compared with the quadruplet interactions in respect to the evolution of wind waves due to energy transfer among the wave components. However, the triad interactions may be important even for deep water waves because they may closely be related to the wave steepness, which definitely affects wave breaking, drag of air flow over t.'Ie sea, or navigation of ships, especially during the early stage of the development of wind waves. This study reports a series of laboratory experiments, whose data are subjected to bispectral analyses to investigate the triad interactions of deep-water wind waves. It is found that the bicoherence at the spectral peak frequency and the wave steepness are almost directly proportional, indicating that the steep waves with peaked crests and flat troughs are resulted from the triad interactions. Both bicoherence and wave steepness increase with the wave age during the early stage of wave generation and then drop off as the waves grow old. It seems that the energy of the secondary spectral peak developed by the triad interactions during the early stage of wave generation is redistributed to the neighboring frequencies by the quadruplet interactions during the later stage.

It has been presumed that highly nonlinear skewed waves frequently observed in a surf zone could significantly influence the transmission behaviour via a porous wave breaker due to its larger inertia force than its nonlinear counterparts of zero skewness [Cnoidal waves]. In this study, in order to confirm this perception, a numerical simulation has been implemented for 6 waves the skewness of that range from 1.02 to 1.032. A numerical simulation are based on the Tool Box called as the ihFoam that has its roots on the OpenFoam. Skewed waves are guided by the shoal of 1:30 slope, and the flow in the porous media are analyzed by adding the additional damping term into the RANS (Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equation). Numerical results show that the highly nonlinear skewed waves are of higher transmitted ratio than its counterparts due to its stronger inertia force. In this study, in order to see whether or not the damping at the porous structure has an effect on the wave celerity, we also derived the dispersive relationships of Nonlinear Shallow Water Eq. [NSW] with damping at the porous structure being accounted. The newly derived dispersive relationships shows that the phase lag between the damping friction and the free surface elevation due to waves significantly influence the wave celerity.
Estrangement hierarchical by bipolarization is deepened and time space that social welfare by graying corresponds great so. Specially, is real condition that indifference by patient's increase which is solitary life string is come to involve by social problem. Together, Jaetaek bone fracture patient's ratio is zooming. Domestic BT technology, medical treatment solution technology offer more important role than role assistance enemy of modern technology and utilize by creative technology can . Specially, if apply supersonic waves in bone fracture treatment, there is treatise data that can reduce bone fracture treatment period of bone that bone does not stick well about 40%. Supersonic waves operation frequency used on both end because do 1m Hz, 1.3mHz, supersonic waves origination that have 1.5mHz's Piezo-ceramic crystal tranducer material each 4 premature senilitys in this research, and outside diameter according to impedance and Phase d used Gakgak4mm, 5.4mm, Dukke0.5mm, transformer deuce of length 70mm. Manufactured, and investigated supersonic waves distribution chart by capacity 50m W. Supersonic waves used by diagnosis mainly but is seen to become convenient medical treatment mounting in bone fracture patient's treatment if supplement clinically. If supplement system furthermore, is going to apply to osteoporosis patient, and this research tried to design poetic theme width directly and study rain standardization special quality and approach basic form because do modelling.

An experimental study of deep-water breaking waves is performed by nonlinear wave evolution as well as superposition of different wave frequencies. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional wave instabilities and breakings are observed in nonlinear wave evolution. The wave energy evolves with almost the same initial wave energy before breaking but decreases significantly after breaking process. Large spilling and plunging waves are generated near e expected breaking location by means of faster waves overtaking slow waves at a certain point. More energy loss in vigorous plunging breakers is observed through breaking process.
Sound waves and acoustic energy generated by two identical TA (ThermoAcoustic) lasers were analyzed and studied. One end of the ceramic stack was heated by a thin NiCr wire wound around that end. The other end of the stack was cooled by natural convection of atmospheric air. The wavelength of the sound waves generated by a single TA laser was four times the tube length and the amplitude of the waves increased with the heating rate. SPL (SoundPressure Level) meters and microphones were employed to measure and study the sound waves at different distances from the glass tube opening and at the focusing point of the TA laser pair for different laser position arrangements. The sound waves of the two TA lasers at the focusing point were found to be almost 180 degrees out of phase when the openings of the two lasers were very close to each other and the angle between the laser axes was small. When the two TA lasers were placed far apart, the sound wave amplitudes and the phase difference between the two laser outputs varied periodically with time. The frequencies of the sound waves changed when the openings of the two TA lasers were in close vicinity and the angle between the laser axes exceeded a certain value. In this case, the glass tube opening was no longer a pressure anti-node and the wavelength of the fundamental mode was not equal to four times the tube length.

In the present study, the storm waves at the Korean Straits of April, 2016 have been reproduced by the wave hindcasting, and then their characteristics were investigated. Before the wave hindcasting, the wave measurements at the Korean Straits were analyzed. The analysis showed that the waves at the Korean Straits were dominated by the Northeastern waves, same as those in the East Sea. Accordingly, the wave hindcasting was been carried out with the same condition in Ahn et al. (2016). In the numerical results, the maximum significant wave height at the Korean Straits was 5.06 m, and the corresponding significant wave period was 9.2 s. The computed significant wave heights and wave periods were overestimated by 4 cm and 0.8 s, respectively. After the wave hindcasting, the computed significant wave heights and peak periods were compared with the JONSWAP relationship. This comparison showed that the storm waves at the Korean Straits were close to wind waves, not swell.
The purpose of the present work is to derive the reflection and transmission coefficients of $S_0\;and\;A_0$ mode Lamb waves in relation to the geometry of a rectangular notch when the waves propagate across the notch in an elastic plate. Firstly, the excitable modes of the Lamb wave were analyzed with respect to the plate thickness. The scattering phenomena were divided into three independent processes according to the boundary shape of the notch and the direction of the wave propagation. Linear equations for each process were derived with corresponding free or continuous boundary conditions to analyze the scattered waves. By the rule of linear superposition, the waves scattered at each process were summed for each mode. Then the steady-state reflection and transmission coefficients of the scattered waves were determined so that the difference of energy flux between the incident and the scattered waves would remain within 4%.

Characteristics of large-height swell-like waves that repeatedly occurred on the Korean East Coast in winter season were analyzed by using the wave observation data and the meteorological data. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was demonstrated that the swell-like waves have been generated due to the long-lasting strong northeasters in the East Sea, which were formed as a result of the low pressure trough in the vicinity of the extratropical low pressure system that advanced to East Sea from the China inland with decreasing its central pressure. Among the recently occurred events of the swell-like waves, the characteristics of the two events in October 2005 and 2006 were predominantly wind waves. Meanwhile, the one in February 2008 seems to be occurred by the initial wave growth due to wind waves followed by the secondly increase of the wave height due to longer-period swell.

To improve the ocean waves of the ship maneuvering simulator, we study and summarize the visualization elements of the ocean waves and the overall direction of their implementation in detail. We categorize the visualization elements of the ocean waves into five groups, including wave surface, wave breaking, interaction, lighting effects, and underwater. We also analyze the design and implementation issues of the visualization of the ocean waves for ship maneuvering simulator with respect to realistic and real-time ocean visualization, ship dynamics, and application purposes. Through the analysis, we have found that the realistic visualization of ocean waves plays an important role in the generation of immersiveness, more accurate ship motion, and the various and controllable simulation scenarios for the ship maneuvering simulator. Additionally, we have confirmed that there are many visualization elements, methods, and limitations to be considered for the visualization of the ocean waves for ship maneuvering simulator, and we have concluded that the systematic design is required before implementation.
