일반철도 유지보수 합리화를 위한 궤도틀림 기준 연구방향 (A Study of Track Irregularity Standard for Rational Track Maintenance)

  • Currently the train operating environment to affect track irregularity is changed rapidly such as speed-up, linear improvement and rolling stack upgrade. The recent track maintenance criteria of track irregularity was quoted from past Japan's, and the needs of revision of criteria are increased because of the rapid change in train operating environment. In case of enhance the track irregularity criteria, it secure driving safety and riding comfort but maintenance cost are increase. And also decrease ballast durability by frequent corrective work. In case of mitigate the criteria, it decrease driving safety and riding comfort, but save the maintenance cost. The study for enacting rational criteria did not carry out so far. In this study, survey the domestic and international track irregularity and case study for track irregularity inspection results and maintenance history for guideline of enacting irregularity criteria study.

  • Track accompanies the process that track alignment by traffic loads is changed. A change of track alignment affects the running safety and riding comfort of train. This is called a track irregularity. The most important task in maintaining the track is to manage these track irregularity within quality parameters. Today, track maintenance of urban transit is enforcing immediate maintenance about section exceeding a safety standard by applying track recording data got through Integrated Measurement. This method is advantage of being easy of the maintenance assesment in case of the running safety, but is disadvantage of being difficult in case of the riding comfort of train. In this study, we propose track irregularity deviation of each track system depending on the time series and present about utilization plans of the Track Irregularity Progress Rate.

궤도틀림의 검측값과 측량결과 비교 (Comparison of Track Recording with Surveying in Track irregularity Measurement)

  • Track geometry changes by traffic loads. The bigger the changes are, the worse the riding comfort and running stability of train. This is so-called track irregularity and is the most important quality parameters of ballasted track. To objectively assess track irregularity, track geometry should be able to be measured. Practically, railway companies use moving chord method, which determine versine values via a chord. The versine is the vertical distance to curve measured in the middle of the chord. This type of method measures only versine of track irregularity curve by transfer function from the characteristics of measuring device. In this report, review the characteristics of two types of measuring tools by comparing the measurements. The one is GRP-1000 system, optical surveying system with Total station and lazar prism trolley. This calculates track geometry by surveying absolute coordinates of two points each on both rail heads. The other is EM-120, measures versine with 10m of symmetrical chord length.

하중기반의 궤도틀림 분석기법 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Application of Force-based Track Irregularity Analysis Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 궤도틀림이 차륜-레일 상호작용력에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 궤도틀림을 관리할 수 있는 하중기반의 궤도틀림 분석기법을 제안하였다. 도시철도 침목플로팅궤도와 직결도상 접속구간에서 발생된 고저틀림 측정결과를 이용하여 고저틀림이 차륜-레일 상호작용력(동적윤중)과 레일의 진동가속도에 미치는 영향을 해석적으로 분석하였다. 직결궤도 총 4개소를 대상으로 부분적으로 직결궤도를 포함한 침목플로팅궤도 구간과 전, 후 인접 침목플로팅궤도 구간으로 구분하여 고저틀림을 비교, 분석하였다. 분석결과, 직결궤도를 포함한 구간이 침목플로팅궤도 보다 궤도틀림이 크게 나타났다. 고저틀림 데이터를 적용한 차륜-레일 상호작용력 분석결과, 거리에 비해 상대 변위차가 큰 구간에서 차륜-레일 상호작용력과 레일가속도가 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면 고저틀림 데이터의주기와 틀림량(변위)이 일정한 구간의 경우 차륜-레일 상호작용력과 레일가속도가 상대적으로 작게 나타났다. 따라서고저틀림의 주기가 짧고 상대변위차가 클수록 차륜-레일 상호작용력 측면에서 불리한 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구에서는 궤도틀림 측정데이터를 이용한 차륜-레일 상호작용 해석을 통해 차륜-레일의 상호작용력을 바탕으로한 하중기반의 궤도틀림 분석기법 적용방안을 제시하였다.

NARX 신경망을 이용한 철도 궤도틀림 추정 (Estimation of track irregularity using NARX neural network)

  • Due to high-speed of trains, the track deformation increases rapidly and may lead to track irregularities causing the track stability problem. To secure the track stability, the continual inspection on track irregularities is required. The paper presents a methodology for identifying track irregularity using the NARX neural network considering non-linearity in the train structural system. A simulation study has been carried out to examine the proposed method. Acceleration time history data measured at a bogie were re-sampled to every 0.25m track irregularity. In the simulation study, two sets of measured data were simulated. The second data set was obtained by a train with 10% more mass than the one for the first data set. The first set of simulated data was used to train the series-parallel mode of NARX neural network. Then, the track irregularities at the second time period are identified by using the measured acceleration data. The closeness of the identified track irregularity to the actual one is evaluated by PSD and RMSE.

케이블 장력변화가 강철도 복합교량 상 자갈궤도의 궤도틀림에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Cable Tension Changes on Track Irregularity of Railway Ballasted Track on Railway Steel Composite Bridge)

  • 본 연구에서는 공용중인 강철도 복합교량의 케이블 장력변화가 철도교량 상 자갈궤도의 궤도틀림에 미치는 영향을 해석적으로 분석하였다. 케이블 장력에 대한 설계 및 해석결과 비교 결과, 약 3% 미만의 차이가 나타나 해석모델링은 설계조건을 잘 반영하는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 현장측정결과와 해석 케이블 장력과 비교하여 해석모델링의 적정성을 입증하였다. 케이블 장력 변화를 변수로 설정하여 강철도 복합교량의 궤도틀림을 해석적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 전체 및 편측 케이블 장력변화는 궤도틀림 항목 중 고저틀림에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 케이블 위치와 근접한 구간에서 궤도틀림의 변화가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 케이블 장력 변화는 수평방향에 의한 궤도틀림(방향틀림 및 궤간틀림)보다는 연직방향과 직접적인 상관성을 갖는 궤도틀림(고저틀림 및 수평틀림)에 보다 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • In this paper, a numerical method for analyzing the interactions between train and track is presented. The effect of track irregularity on high speed running trains and track is examined by parametric studies. Two types of vertical track irregularity are considered. The first one is ideally assumed to a sine wave to investigate train and track behaviors with the change of its shape feasibly, The second one is artificially generated from PSD of track irregularity which was established from the measured data on real railways. In the track dynamic model, rail is considered to have a distributed mass and to be supported discretely at sleepers above ballast divided into three layers. Then, the contact between wheel and rail is modeled by a nonlinear Hertzian spring.

The bigger the changes are, the worse the riding comfort and running stability of train. This is so-called track irregularity and is the most important quality parameters of ballasted track.   • In recent time, the cause analysis and the reduction of the track irregularity have become the most important issue in the ballasted track on the high-speed railway bridge. This is because that the frequency of the maintenance work at the bridge expansion joint zone is on the rise. The track irregularity on the railway bridge starts at the end of the bridge-deck and spreads along the bridge. Due to the dynamic vibration and the thermal expansion of the bridge, the compaction of the ballast gravel on the bridge expansion joint zone become loose and then the progress of the track irregularity result from the train-induced dynamic impact is accelerating further. Among the several options for reducing the track irregularity on the bridge expansion joint zone, the application and efficiency of the zero longitudinal restraint(ZLR) and tied sleeper are investigated in this paper. Field test construction has been conducted, then the progress of the track irregularity and the frequency of the maintenance work are analyzed before and after the filed test construction. Of the two methods, it is shown that the installation of the ZLR seems to be better than the tied sleeper.

도시철도 인접굴착공사에 따른 운행선 궤도의 궤도틀림 분석 (Evaluation of Track irregularity due to Adjacent Excavation Work on Serviced Urban Transit)

  • 본 연구는 도시철도 선로를 인접하여 시공되는 대형굴착공사에 따른 기존 지하철 선로구조물의 구조적 안정성을 검토하고자 수치해석을 수행하였다. 수치해석을 바탕으로 단계별 시공과정에서 발생되는 궤도틀림의 영향을 해석적으로 도출하였으며 관련 기준과의 비교를 통해 궤도변형측면에서의 안정성을 검토하였다. 분석결과, 줄틀림과 면틀림과 같이 일정거리에서의 상대변위차를 바탕으로 평가되는 궤도틀림 항목의 경우 인접굴착공사 시종점부와 같이 기존 구조물의 변형이 시작되는 위치에서 가장 명확하게 발생되었다. 반면 궤도의 전반적인 연직 및 수평변위는 공사구간의 중심에서 최대변형이 발생되었다. 인접굴착공사에 따른 기존 구조물의 변형측면의 취약위치는 공사구간의 중심과 같이 구조물의 변형이 크게 발생되는 위치뿐만 아니라 궤도틀림 측면에서는 공사 시종점 구간이 취약위치가 될 수 있음을 해석적으로 입증하였다.
