  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the formational process of traditional house in old village that is the base of development on rural area. The method of this research is to use the family genealogy of the clan society village in the analysis of building times, and constructed with investigation by the residents. The results of this research are described as follows. 1. At the first period of settlement in the middle time of 18C, the small relative family was located at nearby of each other. They were divided three group. The first entered man is B-group. 2. At the period of 19C, the family was enlarged by the descendants. But at that time, the house was constructed by small type. And some tiled roof houses were built by A-group part at under area of the village. And the construction of village boundary was nearly completed. 3. At the early period of 20C, the great houses were constructed by C-group part at the upper area of the village. 4. At the late period of 20C, there were not changed largely. But small change was occurred by the divided of site. Except two house, every houses were changed to tiled roof house. The residents have continued the strong preservation mind of environment for 300 years. The family genealogy was very useful to analyze the formational process of traditional house in the clan society village.

  • Sharing copyrighted files without copyright holder's permission is illegal. But, a number of illegal file sharers using BitTorrent increase. However, it is difficult to find appropriate digital evidences and legal basis to punish them. And, there are no framework for digital investigation of illegal sharing using BitTorrent. Additionally, role of server in BitTorrent had been reduced than server in conventional P2P. So, It is difficult to apply investigation framework for illegal sharing using conventional P2P to investigation process of illegal sharing using BitTorrent. This paper proposes the methodology about punishing illegal sharer using BitTorrent by suggesting the digital investigation framework.

  • Parametric investigation of the polyol process for the preparation of carbon supported Pt nano particles as catalysts for fuel cells was carried out. It was found that the concentration of glycolate anion, which is a function of pH, plays an important role in controlling Pt particle size and loading on carbon. It was observed that Pt loading decreased with increasing alkalinity of the solution. As evidenced by zeta potential measurement, this was mainly due to poor adsorption or repulsive forces between the metal colloids and the supports. In order to modify the conventional polyol process, the effect of the gas purging conditions on the characteristics of Pt/C was examined. By the optimization of the gas environment during the reaction, it was possible to obtain high loading of 39.5wt% with a 2.8 nm size of Pt particle. From the single cell test, it was found that operating in ambient $O_{2}$ at 70oC can deliver high performance of more than 0.6 V at 1.44 A $cm^{-2}$.

  • The present investigation on optical fiber mass manufacturing features the computational modeling and simulation on a double layer liquid coating process on glass fiber surface. The computational model employs a simplified geometry of typical fiber coating system which consists of primary and secondary coating dies along with secondary coating cup. The viscous dissipation in coating flow is incorporated into the double layer coating process simulations. Heavy temperature dependence of coating liquid viscosity is also considered in the model. The computational results found that the effects of viscous dissipation on both primary and secondary coating layer thicknesses are highly significant at higher drawing speed. Several important coating process parameters such as supply temperature and pressure of primary and secondary coating liquids are investigated and discussed in order to appreciate how those parameters affect the double layer coating layer thickness on fast moving glass fiber.

  • As an essential factor of plasticity in fashion, color reflects socio-cultural trends and has possessed different symbolism in its historical development. This study aims to search for an academic approach towards finding out how the concepts and symbolism of the color white were expressed in actual clothing. This will be realized through the investigation of the various meanings this particular color possesses. The secondary purpose of this study is to give shape to the results of above said academic investigation by proposing their integration into actual fashion design. The methodology employed in this study and results are as follows. First, the symbolism of the color white abstracted from the research of literature on this subject was classified into six categories; purity, grace, abstinence, sublimity, decorativeness, and avant-garde. Second, for empirical research, six designs were developed and produced into white dresses. The development of these dress designs was realized by presenting the symbolism of the aforementioned six categories into images, and the formative constructions of these images by applying various design details, expressive techniques, and characteristics of the materials. Through an investigation into the color white, which has been excluded from previous chromatics research as a major color, integration of the symbolism and chromatic image of this color into the actual fashion design process is made possible. The significance of this study is in that it proposes multifarious possibilities in fashion design, and also in extending the horizon of chromatics research in fashion through the realization of the above process.

  • Pyomindaehwa is a study book written in Korean and it takes a form of an investigation document made up of a conversation between Chosen's castaways and an interpreter taking place in Naesirogawa and Satsuma on the south end of Kyushu, Japan in the 19th century. This book is in three volumes. Many terminologies such as timber parts, sail, rigging and equipment have been shown in the last volume, which is mainly about a repairing process of drifting ship. Especially, timber parts' terminologies including hull's term were schematized in Kumamoto Text(1854b). This study have attempted to find out Naval architectural clues helping estimate actual drifting ship's type and bulk on the evidence of the contents. Based on the studies, it is possible to presume the type of Korean boats and ships, which are similar with the ones from database of 21 traditional fishing boats in the report on Investigation of Korean fishing boats studied previously. This paper has shown the logical process of presumption of types of boats.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and assess policies and management systems related to traditional villages in Korea. To pursuit this purpose, this study analyzes the applied conservation process to traditional villages. Specifically, it attempts to search for new approaches. Mainly, the using cases are the designated villages protected by law. This study is composed of two major parts. First part is devoted to the understanding of applied conservation process. This work is executed by the introduction of the five stages. ($\circled1$ preliminary investigation, $\circled2$ designation, $\circled3$ main investigation, $\circled4$ planning and design, $\circled5$ management) Based on the results of the first part, the second part is analyzed problems of past and current situation and arranged formulation of suggestions of suggestions for future policy development. This is composed of this items. ($\circled1$ law and institution, $\circled2$ methods of conservation, $\circled3$ investigation and analysis, $\circled4$ management) This study doesn't suggest substantial alternatives, but the analyzed results of this study will contribute to the futher work of conservation for traditional villages in Korea.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the feasibility of Flipped Learning teaching and learning methods in pre-math teachers' education through investigation of pre-math teachers' awareness about the method. To achieve the goal, we implemented Flipped Learning model that was composed of three steps in mathematics education class of 30 pre-math teachers and then we investigated their awareness about the model and process. Pre-math teachers' awareness were positive about the model and process of Flipped Learning, but some matters were suggested about learning environment. The results of this study showed the feasibility of Flipped Learning in pre-math teachers' education.
