국가전거와 ISNI 연계 및 활용 방안 연구 - 국립중앙도서관을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Interconnection and Utilization of National Authority and ISNI: Focusing on the case of National Library of Korea)

  • ISNI가 확산되면서 개인명이나 단체명을 식별하고 연계하는 전거제어의 프로세스와 활용방식도 확장되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 미국, 영국, 프랑스, 독일 등의 국가전거와 ISNI 연계와 활용의 특징을 도출하여, 우리나라 국립중앙도서관을 중심으로 국가전거와 ISNI의 연계와 활용의 개선 방안을 제시하였다. ISNI 창립부터 정착과 활용에 적극적으로 참여하고 있는 주요국을 중심으로 국가전거와 ISNI 연계 방식 및 서비스에 활용된 ISNI 데이터 등을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 ISNI를 활용한 국가전거 개선 방안은 첫째, ISNI를 활용한 전거 업무 지원, 둘째, 국가서지작성기관과 출판계와의 긴밀한 협력체계 마련, 셋째, 국가차원에서 ISNI와 전거레코드 연계를 위한 인프라 구축, 마지막으로 전거데이터를 바탕으로 이용자 서비스 페이지 제공 등이었다.

Numerical study on the deflections of steel-concrete composite beams with partial interaction

  • The use of composite beams with partial interaction, with less shear connectors than those required for full interaction, may be advantageous in many situations. However, these beams tend to show higher deflections compared to beams with full interaction, and codified expressions for the calculation of such deflections are not fully developed and validated. Thus, this paper presents a comprehensive numerical study on the deflections of steel-concrete composite beams with partial interaction. Efficient numerical models of full-scale composite beams considering material nonlinearities and contact between their parts have been developed by means of the advanced software ABAQUS, including a damage model to simulate the concrete slab. The FE models were validated against experimental results, and subsequently parametric studies were developed to investigate the influence of the shear connection degree and the coefficient of friction in the deflection of composite beams. The comparison of predicted deflections using reference codes (AISC, Eurocode-4 and AS-2327.1) against numerical results showed that there are still inaccuracies in the estimation of deflections for the verification of the serviceability limit state, according to some of the analyzed codes.

  • MPLS 망에서 망의 생존성을 높이기 위하여 사용되는 경로 복구는 작업 경로의 링크나 노드에 장애가 발생했을 때 트래픽을 복구 경로로 전달함으로써 신뢰성 있는 서비스를 제공하는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 링크 장애시에 높은 우선 순위의 트래픽를 위한 경로 복구 방법으로 작업 경로의 이중화를 통하여 경로를 복구하는 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 복구 방법은 링크 장애시에 트래픽의 우선 순위에 관계없이 동일하게 복구 경로로 전송되어 우선 순위가 높은 트래픽의 복구 시간이 많이 소요되는 문제점이 있었다. 이에 반해 제안된 복구 방법은 우선 순위가 높은 트래픽이 전송되는 작업 경로에 대해서 이중화된 경로를 설정하여 트래픽을 전송할 수 있어 신속히 연결이 복구되는 장점을 갖는다. 그리고 이중화 경로를 이용한 복구 시스템의 성능을 분석하고, 우선 순위가 높은 트래픽에 대해서 제안한 경로 복구 방법이 기존의 경로 복구 방법보다 성능이 우수함을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제시한다.

Statistics based localized damage detection using vibration response

  • Damage detection is a challenging, complex, and at the same time very important research topic in civil engineering. Identifying the location and severity of damage in a structure, as well as the global effects of local damage on the performance of the structure are fundamental elements of damage detection algorithms. Local damage detection is essential for structural health monitoring since local damages can propagate and become detrimental to the functionality of the entire structure. Existing studies present several methods which utilize sensor data, and track global changes in the structure. The challenging issue for these methods is to be sensitive enough in identifYing local damage. Autoregressive models with exogenous terms (ARX) are a popular class of modeling approaches which are the basis for a large group of local damage detection algorithms. This study presents an algorithm, called Influence-based Damage Detection Algorithm (IDDA), which is developed for identification of local damage based on regression of the vibration responses. The formulation of the algorithm and the post-processing statistical framework is presented and its performance is validated through implementation on an experimental beam-column connection which is instrumented by dense-clustered wired and wireless sensor networks. While implementing the algorithm, two different sensor networks with different sensing qualities are utilized and the results are compared. Based on the comparison of the results, the effect of sensor noise on the performance of the proposed algorithm is observed and discussed in this paper.

응급실 폭력예방에 대한 효율적인 교육방안 (Effective education for the prevention of violence in the emergency room)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the educational satisfaction of trainees in implementing violence prevention education by workers in the emergency room and insufficient education. Methods: The participants of the study were 65 emergency room employees in S area. Results: First, education was helpful if you actively participated in education, and if you did not actively participate in education, education was shown to be of little or no help (χ2(p)= .000 p-value<.05). Second, formal education (53.3%) was identified as the problem of preventive education currently in place of education, and statistics show that the biggest problem with applying emergency room violence prevention education at worksites is a lack of active support (41.7%) from the police and hospitals. Third, 48.3 percent of the respondents thought that the education methods invited experts were appropriate for emergency room violence prevention education. Conclusion: The problem with the current emergency room violence prevention education is that it is necessary to establish a connection program between hospitals and police stations and give lectures by experts in violence prevention education to apply the contents of the educational curriculum in the workplace with one time and formal education.

지방의료원 수술부 영역 및 면적 구성에 관한 조사·분석연구 - 순면적을 중심으로 (A Study on the Space Zoning and Area Composition of the Operation Department in Regional Public Hospitals - Focused on Net Floor Area)

  • Purpose: To establish guidelines for local public hospitals, the survey was conducted primarily on the current status of local public hospitals, focusing on the zone configuration and the spatial area of the operating department. Methods: 3 Methods have been used in this paper. 1) Analyzing drawings to derive the net floor area of each room. 2) A literature survey about composition of the zone by infection control. 3) Observation survey for user circulation analysis. Results: The operation department consists of the major, secondary, support and connected zones according to the user's actions. The spatial area composition ratio for each zone is major zone: 41.79%, secondary zone: 10.87%, support zone: 23.10%, and connected zone: 24.24%. Implications: This study is a basic research for guideline for the operation department in local public hospitals. In this study, zones configuration of the operation departments are classified in terms of user actions and room functions. In the future, it is required to establish criteria considering infection control and copper connection aspects.

델파이 방법 적용 사례 연구 - 초고속망 장비 관련 시장 예측과 관련하여 - (Case Study on ATM Equipments by Delphi Methods)

  • The authors of this paper chose the delphi methods to investigate into several areas to understand where the pressures for ATM equipments will emerge in the prescribed time horizon of 1999 to 2010- a period just beyond the current manufacturing and deployment schedules of most companies. The areas studied are the office buildings and interoffice connectivity as well as switches, and finally transmission facilities. This paper is matched into these areas with the results of a Delphi study of 14 respondents from the common carriers like Korea Telecom and national institutions like ETRI. The investigators calculated the average answer for each question and presents the questionnaires for a second round to individuals who had responded to the first round of questioning. As a result of this paper, the authors reached some conclusions regarding what item will be predominant in each of the areas studied as well as the promoters and barriers for ATM deployment and some suggestions are provided for corporate managers and policy makers. This Delphi study did not provide a strong and uniform forecast that ATM would dominate the marketplace in the early years of next millenium, as many had anticipated. Whether it is in he area of office connection, enterprise backbone, switches and transmission facilities, respondents predicted the patterns which indicate a movement toward higher-bandwidth connectivity, although not necessarily provided with ATM networks. A general pattern is that the predictions for ATM deployment in each of the areas were strong from the year 1999 to 2010.

블록 전파 시간 단축을 위한 비트코인 네트워크 이웃 연결 알고리즘 개선 (Improved Bitcoin Network Neighbors Connection Algorithm to Reduce Block Propagation Time)

  • 비트코인은 일반적으로 사용하고 있는 달러, 원화, 유로, 엔화 등 세계적인 종이 화폐와 달리 은행과 금융기관 등과 같은 중앙 집중 기관에 의존하지 않는 암호화폐이다. 비트코인 네트워크에서는 채굴(mining) 작업으로 거래 내역이 담긴 블록을 생성하고, 블록이 생성되었다는 메시지를 모든 참여 노드에게 브로드캐스팅(broadcasting) 방식으로 전파하여 검증을 통해 신뢰성을 확보한다. 이와 같이 비트코인 네트워크에서 채굴과 블록 전파는 P2P 네트워크의 성능에 크게 영향을 받는다. 채굴의 경우 네트워크 내에서 먼저 채굴을 진행하고, 더 빠르게 채굴에 대한 증명을 전파하는지에 따라 보상을 받는 노드가 달라진다. 본 논문에서는 비트코인 네트워크에서 수행되는 기존의 이웃 연결 방식과 블록 전파 방식에 대한 문제점을 지역적인 특성과 RTT(Round-To-Trip) 값 측정을 적용하여 블록 전파 속도향상을 위한 개선 알고리즘을 제시한다. 실험을 통해 개선 알고리즘과 기존 알고리즘의 성능 비교하여 전반적인 블록 전파 시간이 감소한 것을 검증한다.

견관절 굴곡 각도가 남·녀 대학생의 악력 변화에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Shoulder Flexion Angle on Hand Grip Strength in Male and Female Undergraduate Students)

  • Purpose : This study's purpose is consideration about change of the hand grip strength according to different posture and shoulder flexion angle. The shoulder joint permits the greatest mobility and carries out the important function of stabilization for hand use. Hand grip activity is important to evaluate while assessing loads of shoulder in hand mobilities. Methods : Thirty(15 male, 15 female) college students with unknown shoulder dysfunction participated subject in five different positions of elbow extension with sitting and standing posture, different positions is followed : (1) shoulder $0^{\circ}$ flexion (2) shoulder $45^{\circ}$ flexion (3) shoulder $90^{\circ}$ flexion (4) shoulder $135^{\circ}$ flexion (5) shoulder $180^{\circ}$ flexion. Results : On the average, in the hand grip strength, the standing posture is higher than sitting posture. Sitting posture showed a most high level at the man's $0^{\circ}$ and woman's $135^{\circ}$. And standing posture showed a most high level at the man's $135^{\circ}$ and woman's $90^{\circ}$. Conclusion : The paired t-test was used to determine the different in grip strength between sitting and standing posture by shoulder angle change. There was no significant difference between the five position by sitting and standing posture. In man, correlation analysis revealed significant connection for all five position by sitting and standing posture. And in woman, correlation analysis revealed connection for all five position by sitting and standing posture.

A Study on the Development of Guidelines on Visiting Nursing Services for the Management of Hypertension Patients in the Rural Areas of Korea

  • This study aims to develop some guidelines on visiting nursing services for the management of hypertension patients at home in the rural areas of Korea. Firstly, in-depth interviews were given to the eight staff in charge of visiting nursing services in the rural health centers from June 1, 1999 to August 30, 1999. And then, their five patients with hypertension were under participatory observation. At the same time, literature review was conducted. Through those methods, some preliminary items were derived and the initial guidelines were drawn up. They were referred to ten experts, so that their validity was tested with Delphi Technique. Through the verification of their validity, they were complemented into the final ones. The total number of the items in the final guidelines was 22. By areas, they could be categorized as follows; eight items as skilled nursing care, five as general nursing care, three as guidance for diet, two as guidance for exercise, one as hospice care, and one as connection with social welfare services. By methods of activities, 13 items were classified as assessment, two as intervention, two as demonstration, and 17 as explanation. On the basis of the guidelines, nursing services are recommended to be divided and performed; general nursing activities by nurse aids and skilled nursing activities by public health nurses.
