양계초(梁溪超) 사상(思想)을 통해서 본 한국 근대 군(軍) 체육사상(體育思想) (Korean Modern Army Physical Education through Thought Liang, qi-chao)

  • 중국의 부국강병을 주장한 근대 정치학자 양계초(1873-1929)는 애국(愛國)과 자강(自强)을 외쳤던 구한말 지식인의 큰 축이었다. 서구 열강의 힘에 무너진 중국 재건을 갈망하던 그의 애국사상은 한국의 근대 국가 건설의지에 지대한 영향을 주었다. 양계초의 사상의 중심에는 군사력과 체육이 있었다. 그는 강한 체력을 기반으로 한 군사력을 강조하였다. 양계초의 사상을 바탕으로 구한말 지식인들은 한민족이 체육을 통해 건강하게 거듭나야 한다고 믿었다. 초기 우리나라의 체육 도입은 군 체육과 일체성을 보였다. 1895년 처음 서구 체육의 개념이 도입되면서 1896년 군 체육인 체조가 학교교육에 처음으로 도입된 사례는 초기 체육이 군 체육이었다는 사실을 증명해 주고 있다. 더욱이 지속적으로 민족학자들은 양계초 상무정신이 바탕이 된 체육으로 강한 민족 양성에 힘을 쏟았고 그 중심에 군 체육인 체조를 강조하였다.

빅데이터를 활용한 편의점 간편식에 대한 의미 분석 (A study on the User Experience at Unmanned Checkout Counter Using Big Data Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 빅데이터를 활용하여 편의점 간편식에 대한 소비자들의 인식과 의미를 알아보기 위한 목적이 있다. 이 연구를 위하여 네이버(NAVER)와 다음(Daum)에서 뉴스, 지식인, 블로그, 카페, 지식인(팁), 웹 문서를 대상으로 분석하였고 자료 검색을 위한 키워드로는 '편의점 간편식'을 사용하였다. 자료 분석 기간은 2019년 1월1일부터 2021년 12월 31일까지 3년으로 선정하였다. 자료수집 및 분석을 위해서는 텍스톰(TEXTOM)을 사용하여 빈도 및 매트릭스 데이터를 추출하였고 UCINET 6 프로그램의 NetDraw 기능을 이용해 네트워크 분석과 시각화 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 편의점 간편식을 소비자들의 선택속성에 따라 건강성, 다양성, 간편성, 경제성으로 군집화 하였다. 직접 조리한 음식에 뒤떨어지지 않고 한 끼 식사로 그 종류가 다양하며, 적절한 가격, 할인 쿠폰, 이벤트 등 편의점 간편식에 대한 소비자들의 의미와 선택속성을 바탕으로 간편성과 편의성을 추구하는 변화된 생활방식에 맞는 새로운 간편식 메뉴 개발에 기초 자료가 되기를 기대한다.

개화기 과부개가 담론분석 -신문과 신소설을 중심으로- (A study of discourses on remarriage of the widows during the enlightenment period -Based on newspapers and Shinsoseol-)

  • This paper serves to analyze discourses on remarriage of the widows at the beginning of the modernization era or during the enlightenment period of Korea (1860-1910). The discourses of newspapers and Shinsoseol which are the text of this study have been analyzed with the qualitative research technique. The major conclusions that are derived from the study are as follows: First, intellectuals during the enlightenment period claimed the unfairness of the prohibition from remarriage of the widows with especially focusing on financial difficulty and life-long loneliness of the young widows. Second, permission of remarriage of the widows was explained not with the point of vies of individual life of widow, but with the point of vies of strengthening the international competitiveness. Third, the discourse claimed that the widow should hold the power of decision of remarriage. Forth, the discourse emphasized the etiquette of the wedding ceremony in remarriage of widows. Fifth, the point that the faithfulness was not easy for a usual widow to obey made the faithfulness noble ethical principle of Korea society.

'Muslim Diaspora' in Yuan China: A Comparative Analysis of Islamic Tombstones from the Southeast Coast

  • This paper presents a case study of the Muslim diaspora through comparative analysis of Islamic tombstones from the Southeast Coast of China under Mongol rule. The locations of the nisbas in the Islamic tombstones are widely dispersed, covering Xinjiang, Transoxiana, Iran, Khorasan, Khwarazm, Armenia, Syria, Palestine, and Arabia. Unexpectedly, we did not find a single named location from India or Southeast Asia. It is well known that notable descendants of distinguished families traditionally produced officials, intellectuals, and wealthy merchants, and surrendered to the Mongols during the war against the Qara Khitai Khanate and the Khwarazm Empire. There were a great number of appointed officials with Muslim names in the Jianghuai (around Lower Yangtze) and Fujian regions. This is consistent with the concentration of epitaphs written in Arabic on the southeast coast of China. The frequent use of the specific tradition of the prophet Muhammad associating the death of the exile with martyrdom in Islamic tombstones in Quanzhou, Hangzhou, and Yangzhou indicates that the Muslims in these port cities eventually established an interregional or diasporic identity of Muslim foreighners whoimmigrated into the region.

Heresiological Labeling in Ecumenical Networking from the Ninth to Thirteenth Centuries : The Byzantine Oikoumene Reconsidered

  • Apart from its Greco-Roman and Christian connotations, considering its continuous influence in the Byzantine world, the oikoumene should be seen as a geo-political as well as socio-religious concept of networking and unity in popular thought and local narratives. This paper argues that "ecumenical" thought survived after Late Antiquity and through the Byzantine era in the Orthodox transportation infrastructure of people and information. It also provides a review of the circulation of heresiological "labels" in the middle to late Byzantine eras. In the Mediterranean, routes, transportation vehicles, and any media supported intelligent networking in the oikoumene. People in the oikoumene could access foreign teachings or stories from outsiders or "barbarians" of different faiths. Constantinopolitan intellectuals coined and issued labels for heretics, such as the Bogomils, Paulicians, and Massalians, and constructed a narrative of the heretical contamination from the center of the oikoumene. Heresiologists collected the information used in creating these heresy titles from far-flung places in all directions from Constantinople, and then exported the labels, which were spread using the transportation network of the Byzantine oikoumene.

  • The concrete, practical orientation of the Chinese toward the aim of communal harmony conditioned their approach toward philosophical differences. Ideological conflicts were seen, not only by the politicians but by the intellectuals themselves, to threaten societal well-being. Harmonious interaction was finally more important to these thinkers than abstract issues of who had arrived at the 'truth'. Perhaps the most obvious illustation of the way the Chinese handled their theoretical conflicts is to be found in mutual accommodation of the three emergent traditions of Chinese culture, Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. Beginning in the Han dynasty(206 BC-AD 200), the diverse themes inherited from the competing 'hundred schools' of pre-imperial China were harmonized within Confucianism as it ascended to become the state ideology. The harmony among confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, traditional philosophical trend in China, is very important research subject at contemporary circumstance. For its cultual influences to surrounding nations, such as Korea, japan and Vietnam etc., are so crucial.

  • Researches for sex consist feminism which manage academically, also variously in the fields of medicine, psychology, politics, society, philosophy, culture research etc. Moreover, sex has become that can no fall in art, dancing, fashion, literature, play movie, mass media, all art fields. About the proposition of sex, even the intellectuals tended to consider sexual love and bodily problem of sexual desire until the mid-20th century. Nevertheless, passing over physical function, man and woman, society, cultural situation and the various concept which contains the differences finally clearly have come in 21th century. Therefore, on this study, find out the relationship between interior design and sexuality and sexual expressional type. Also, through analyzing aspects which is expressed in popular culture, clear new interior design under the concept and characteristic of sexuality.

근대중국의 사회진화론과 양계초

  • Social Evolution was the most influential idea in modern China. Chinese intellectuals, who had made the survival of their country and people a top priority in the face of threats from Western powers, accepted the theory of social evolution as an idea calling for national unity. For Liang Qi chao, the theory of social evolution was a reason to raise the modern nation-state and the new people, along with the need for reform. This article examines that philosophical content and meaning modern Chinese social evolution has around his concept of "nation". His ideas, which are regarded as the origin of Asian nationalism, reflect his belief in and will toward a nation-state, and occupy a unique position in the political history of modern China.

Madness, the Smile, and Transnational Connections in "A Whisper in the Dark"

  • Due to her successful novel Little Women (1869), Louisa May Alcott has generally become known as a writer of sentimental fiction. However, her thrillers demonstrate her keen insights into domestic and international issues. Alcott's so-called "left hand" shows her stances on political and historical issues in America as well as in Europe and Asia. Particularly, Alcott's supporting voice for women against social prejudices is metaphorically portrayed in "A Whisper in the Dark" (1861). Interestingly, in the story Alcott displays her knowledge of the drug trades and the cultural effects of white male colonizers exploiting other peoples and countries around the globe, which were issues that she had learned about from neighboring intellectuals and newspapers. In the paper, I examine Alcott's radical views on gender equality, chauvinistic attitudes, and transnational politics in the mid-nineteenth century.
