간질성 및 다낭성 폐질환이 동반된 쇼그렌 증후군 1례 (A Case of Sj$\ddot{o}$gren's Syndrome with Interstitial Lung Disease and Multiple Cystic Lung Disease)

  • A 47-years-old woman presented with a 2-month history of a dry mouth and dry cough. The patient had been taking medication for Sj$\ddot{o}$gren's syndrome for approximately 7 years. The chest radiography showed multiple cystic lesions and a hazy density in both lower lung fields. The HRCT showed a diffuse ground glass like appearance and multiple variable sized cystic lesions in both lung fields. After medication, the symptoms were aggravated. Bronchoscopy was preformed with a transbronchial lung biopsy. The biopsies showed an infiltration of lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes and histiocytes through the interstitial space of the alveola and a widening of the alveolar septa. However, the histological findings of the cysts were not obtained. Sj$\ddot{o}$gren's syndrome is a slowly progressive inflammatory autoimmune disease, which is characterized by lymphocyte mediated destruction of the exocrine glands, with pulmonary involvement in approximately 19-65%, High-resolution CT is a sensitive technique for assessing the pulmonary involvement in patients with Sj$\ddot{o}$gren's syndrome. Although a lung biopsy is not always necessary for establishing a diagnosis of an interstitial lung disease in Sj$\ddot{o}$gren's syndrome. A lung biopsy may reveal a wide spectrum of changes ranging from a mild inflammatory response to end stage fibrosis with honeycombing. Because of the predominantly peribronchiolar inflammatory infiltration and inspissated secretions the cysts were suspected to have been formed by the ball-valve phenomen. However, no definite evidence was obtained.

  • 두개의 렌즈형 Nd:YAG 막대들로 구성된 두 종류의 대칭형 레이저 공진기에 대한 공진기 안정도, 빔질 특성($M^2$)과 레이저 출력 등을 비교 분석하였다. 실험은 두개의 레이저 막대를 서로 근접시킨 구조의 레이저와 레이저 막대가 레이저 거울에 각각 거의 밀착된 구조의 레이저를 이용하여 수행하였다. 또한복굴절 보상 소자를 두 종류의 공진기에 사용했을 때의 레이저 출력 특성도 비교 분석하고 수치 해석하였다.

낙산사 공중 사리탑 복장직물의 조형특성 및 시기감정 (Characteristics of Textiles Found in the Pagoda at Naksan Temple)

  • On April 28th of 2006, a set of Buddha's reliquary was excavated from the pagoda in n Nacsan Temple. According to the record, the relics were put in the pagoda in the 18th year of King SookJong in the Chosun Dynasty (1692). The present paper examines ten pieces of wrapping clothes covering reliquary found in the pagoda. They are especially precious data in the history of textiles because they were blocked off from outside and was preserved in good condition with vivid colors still remaining after more than 300 years. Of the ten pieces of wrapping cloth, five were double-layered and the other five were single-layered. They include 15 pieces of silk fabric but, excluding repeated use of the same silk fabric, the total of 11 pieces of silk fabric were examined. All 11 kinds of silk fabric were patterned, 9 of which were Satin and the other 2 were Twill. Of the 9 Satin pieces, 8 pieces were 5-end satin which had the ground of 5-end warp satin with the figure of 5-end weft satin. The remaining 1 Satin piece were more splendid with prominent figures by using warp and weft of different colors. The 2 Twill pieces used twill weave-the ground was 3-end warp twill and the figures were 5-end weft twill. Both of the Twill pieces were weaved with character patterns, partly using wrapped gold thread as supplementary weft. The patterns of 11 pieces of silk fabric include flower, dragon/phoenix, cloud, and geometric patterns. Five were flower patterns, three were dragon/phoenix patterns, two were geometric pattern, and one was cloud pattern. In addition, various treasure patterns, character patterns were utilized as supplementary patterns. The flower and phoenix patterns reflect characteristics of the textiles of the 17th century whereas check pattern and cloud pattern were very unique.

T-SCAN을 이용한 교정치료후의 교합접촉 변화에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE CHANCES OF TOOTH CONTACTS FOLLOWING ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT BY USE OF THE T-SCAN SYSTEM)

  • 본 연구는 교정치료가 끝난 26명의 환자에서 T-scan을 이용하여 교정치료직후와 3개월후에 교합접촉의 변화를 구하여 시간의 경과에 따른 총접촉수의 변화와 전치부접촉수의 변화, 구치부 접촉수의 변화 및 총접촉되는 치아수와 전치부와 구치부의 접촉되는 치아수의 변화를 비교분석한 바 다음의 결론을 얻었다. 1. 평균적인 총접촉수의 변화는 교정치료 종료시 11.27개에서 3개월후 13.15개로 증가하였는데, 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(P<0.05). 2. 전치부 접촉수에 있어서는 변화가 없었다. 3. 구치부 접촉수의 변화는 통계학적 유의성이 있었다(P<0.01).총접촉수의 변화는 구치부 접촉수의 변화에 기인하였다. 4. 총접촉치아수에 있어 변화는 통계학적 유의성이 있었다(P<0.05). 5. 전치부의 접촉치아수는 약간 증가하기는 하였으나, 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다(P>0.05). 6. 구칙부 접촉치아수의 변화는 통계학적으로 유의성을 보였다(P<0.05). 7. 초기 치아접촉수와 시간의 경과에 따른 접촉수의 변화량은 약한 역상관관계를 보였는데, 이는 초기 접촉수가 적을 수록 보다 많은 접촉수의 증가가 있었다는 것을 보인다(r=-0.38, p<0.05).

  • ATM은 패킷 데이터 서비스 통신에 적합한 통신방식으로 데이터, 음성, 영상 등의 서비스를 동시에 지원할 수 있다. 이러한 ATM의 QoS를 보증하기 위해서는 패킷 데이터를 전송하는 소스 비율에 대해 네트워크 초과적조 조건을 조절하는 것이 필요하는데 대부분의 제어알고리즘이 임계값을 기반으로 한 피드백 제어방식이다. 그러니 실시간 음성 트레픽과 같은 서비스는 네트워크 상에서 데이터 서비스 동안에 동적인 연결이 설정되고 종료될 수 있으므로 피드벡 제어정보가 지연된다면 고속으로 서비스된 음성 데이터에 대한 품질은 소스의 목적지 사이의 시간 지연으로 인해 손실될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제시된 최소평균제곱오차에 근거를 둔 제어 알고리즘은 예시적인 피드백 제어로 피드백 제어를 위해 미지함수의 기울기와 버퍼크기를 이용하여 미래의 버퍼크기를 예측하려 하였으며 시뮬레이션 질과 본 논문에서 제시한 제어 알고리즘은 효과적임이 증명되었다.

  • 본 연구는 조선왕조 말기에 일본 육군성 참모본부 소속의 장교들로 조직된 간첩대가 한반도에 침투하여 비밀측량을 실시한 배경과 과정을 파악하고 그 실체를 규명한 것이다. 본 연구의 대상이 된 지도들은 첩보장교들의 목측에 의해 은밀하고 신속하게 제작된 노상측도와 목측신속도(目測迅速圖)로 제작된 것들이다. 종래에는 1885년경부터 노상측도가 행해진 것으로 밝혀진 바 있으나, 본 연구에서는 1882년 이소바야시 중위에 의해 최초로 노상측도가 시도되었음이 밝혀졌다. 그들은 1883~1887년에 걸친 정찰루트와 간행지도를 분석한 결과 단기간에 지도제작은 물론 정보수집을 위하여 역할이 분담되었던 것으로 확인되었다.

Differential Alterations of Endotoxin-induced Cytokine Expression and Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase Activation by Mercury in Mouse Kidney

  • The present study was designed to determine the impact of mercury on endotoxin-induced inflammatory cytokine expression and corresponding signal transduction in mouse kidney. Male BALB/c mice were exposed continuously to 0, 0.3, 1.5, 7.5, or 37.5 ppm of mercury in drink-ing water for 14 days and at the end of the treatment period, lipopolysaccharide (LPS, 0.5 mg/kg) was injected intraperitoneally 2 h prior to euthanasia. The doses of mercury and LPS did not cause hepatotoxicity or renal toxicity as indicated by unaltered plasma alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase levels, and terminal UTP nucleotide end-labeling assay from kidney, respectively. Mercury decreased kidney glutathione (GSH) and with LPS, it additively decreased GSH. Mercury activated p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and additively increased LPS-induced p38 MAPK phosphorylation. In contrast, mercury inhibited LPS-induced activation of extra-cellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) but had no effect alone. Mercury increased the gene expression of tumor necrosis factor $\alpha$ (TN F$\alpha$) and potentiated LPS-induced TNF$\alpha$ expression. Mercury did not affect LPS-induced interleukin-1$\beta$ (IL-1$\beta$) expression but decreased LPS-induced IL-6 expression. These results suggest that low levels of mercury might augment LPS-induced TNF$\alpha$ expression by altering GSH and p38 MAPK. Mercury modulates LPS-induced p38 and ERK activation, and downstream TNF$\alpha$ and IL-6 expression in kidney, respectively.

포소화약제 혼합장치의 개량화 방안 (The Methods to Improve the In-Line Eductor)

  • A core device of foam system is the in-line eductor and it is the device to mix the foam liquid into liquid solution proper to the use density and the mixture ratio must be kept regularly regardless of changing fluid condition of the front and rear end of the in-line eductor. However, if the flux of the pressurized water changes, the mixture ratio is not kept regularly, and so it becomes a cause which a performance of fire-extinguishing deteriorates in discharging foam liquid. I devise a method to improve it that the metering orifice type in-line eductor is improved into the metering venturi type in-line eductor, the fluctuation of the mixture ratio to the flux change of the pressurized water is minimized and the performance of fire-extinguishing is kept regularly. As this method is simple in its structure and can be designed at a low cost, it helps for maintenance as well. In the future, it seems to need the research for the metering nozzle type in-line eductor in the future.

우리나라 남성수발의 변천에 관한 연구 (A Study on Transformation of Korea man's hairstyle)

  • This thesis is for the study of hair style and consciousness concerning Korean awris hairs. Our nation had been originally considered to be a people without decorating their hairs. The adults however used a bundle of hair which was twirled, and the bachelors wore original hair befor wiman chosun in B.C. 194. Since then this twirled bundle of hair had been consistently used until the end of the chosun period from the Three-Kingdom period, except Mongolian hair style which was used for one hund-red years during the Won's oppression period at the time of Koryo. The bachelor's hair style not being adorned was developed into that of twirled bundle of hair which was used for on the Three-Kingdom period to the Koryo period, but this was also transformed into the current hair style ? mainly to the decree of short-cut hair style in 1895 and the prevolent western clothes. The origin of meins hair style in Korea was a hair without decoration which was same as that of Ski-tie people in Western country, but our style was different from that of Manju and Mongolian people who have same kinship relationshup. And our nation was greatly influenced by the Chinese culture in view of the Twin-Knats style of the unmarried. Our people's consciousness uwderlying in hairs shows resped for seniors, standard between dults and adolescents, magics, and desine for ornaments.

마이크로중력 과학 임무 수행용 초소형 위성의 진동 해석 (Vibration Analysis of a Nanosatellite for Microgravity Science Missions)

  • A nanosatellite designed by the Korea Microgravity Science Laboratory (KMSL) is currently under development. The KMSL nanosatellite is designed to perform two different scientific missions in space. To successfully complete missions, a variety of tests must be conducted to verify the performance of the designed satellite before launch. As part of the qualification test campaign, the KMSL nanosatellite underwent high level vibrational tests (to comply with Falcon 9 qualification level) to demonstrate the integrity of the system. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the primary structure and all electronic and mechanical components can withstand the vibrations and the loads experienced during the launch period. To this end, the KMSL nanosatellite was exposed to static and dynamic loads and various types of vibrations that are inevitably produced during the space vehicle launch period. The vibration test results clearly demonstrated that all avionics and mechanical components can withstand the vibrations and the loads applied to the KMSL nanosatellite's body through a Pico-satellite Orbital Deployer (POD).
