세제개편이 한국경제에 미치는 효과에 대한 동적분석 (Dynamic Welfare Effects of Tax Reform: Case of Korea)

  • 본 논문은 조세제도의 개편이 (기존의 세수를 유지하는) 경제 및 효용에 미치는 영향에 대해 소국경제를 위한 동적 일반균형모델을 한국경제에 적용하여 분석한다. 여러 가지의 조세제도 개편의 효과를 분석하는데, 특히 기업의 법인세나 가계의 근로소득세를 소비세(부가가치세)로 대체하는 경우 단기 및 장기적으로 어떠한 효과가 있는가를 살펴본다. 모델의 결과에 따르면 이같은 세제개편은 대체로 경제 전체의 효용을 1~3% 정도 증가시킨다. 단기적으로는 경제가 나빠지지만 장기적인 이익이 단기적인 효용감소를 능가한다. 하지만, 기업의 법인세를 낮추고 이를 가계의 근로소득세로 대체할 경우, 경제 전체의 효용은 낮아진다.

환경정책과 지역경제 : 상반관계 vs. 보완관계 (Environment Policy and Regional Economic Growth: Conflicting vs. Complementing)

  • It is generally believed that there is a trade-off between economic growth and environmental quality since pollutants are generated in the process of production and consumption of commodities. Several researchers have shown this prevailing belief using the short-term input-output models. The literature, however, shows that there have been few attempts to investigate the relationship using long-term forecasting models. This motivates the current paper. This paper attempts to build a reginal growth model in a partial equilibrium framework taking into consideration the requirements of capital invested for pollutant abatement. Model is largely neoclassical. Labor is assumed to move a region with high utility specified in regional per capita average was income and pollution level while capital is partially mobile to a region with high returns. The regional growth is explored in a phase diagram. The paper shows that there are two stable growth equilibria which a region can converge over time and that the equilibria are distinguished by the initial threshold capital stock that a region holds. If the initial capital stock of a region is over(under) than the threshold size, the region converges to the higher (lower) growth equilibrium over time. Moreover, based on this result an environmental quality enhancing policy is analyzed in the phase diagram. It has revealed that the policy calls for the relocation of growth equilibrium points, specifically speaking, it stimulates an increase in labor stock and a decrease in capital stock. Hence the paper has suggested that the prevailing belief which the environmental policy negatively impacts on a regional economic growth is not always true.

소비자 스마트니스와 지각된 패션기업 지적자본이 가상세계에서의 가치공동창출행동 의도에 미치는 영향 (The impact of consumer smartness and the perceived intellectual capital of fashion firm on value co-creation behavior intention in virtual worlds)

  • With the digitalization of production and consumption environments, consumers are no longer merely targets of marketing, but key players in creating value jointly with companies by participating in various decision-making processes. Much virtual content in particular, such as fashion shows, exhibitions, games, social activities, and shopping, which fashion brands implement in virtual worlds, cannot be completed without consumers' active engagement and interaction. Thus, this study considers consumers' participation in virtual content provided by fashion brands as value co-creation in virtual worlds. This study aims to examine how consumer (i.e., consumer smartness) and fashion firm (i.e., perceived intellectual capital) factors influence value co-creation behavior intention in virtual worlds. Data were collected from 410 consumers in their 20s nationwide through an online survey, and a higher-order structural equation modeling analysis was conducted to test the research model. The results showed that both consumer smartness and perceived intellectual capital positively influenced customer participation behavior and citizenship behavior intentions. Specifically, perceived intellectual capital had a greater impact on value co-creation behavior in the virtual world than consumer smartness. The findings provide empirical evidence that the fashion firms' intangible assets and consumers' competence in the digital shopping environment encourage their intentions to co-create value in virtual worlds.

음식물류폐기물 제로화 주거단지 구축 시나리오별 비용 및 환경효과 분석 (Analysis of Greenhouse Gas Reduction according to Different Scenarios of Zero Food Waste Residential Buildings)

  • 본 연구에서는 공동주택 단지에서의 음식물류폐기물을 수거 이송하여 대용량처리시설에 자원화 혹은 재활용하는 기존 방식과 발생지인 공동주택 내에서 처리하는 제안 방식을 가상하여 차량수거방식, 자동집하방식, 자동집하처리방식, 소규모분산처리방식, 오수처리연계방식으로 시나리오를 설정하고 각 시나리오별 초기 투자비용, 석유 사용량, 이산화탄소 배출량, 음식물류폐기물 처리 운영비용, 입주자 부담 관리비를 비교 분석하였다. 기존처리 방식에 비해 제안하는 소규모분산처리방식이 초기 투자비용, 연간 석유사용량, 이산화탄소 배출량이 가장 낮았으며 적용, 도입 가능성이 높았다. 음식물류폐기물 처리 운영비용은 기존 처리방식과 비교하여 1톤당 334,465원(약 91%)이 절감되며 세대 당 월 1,500원인 입주자 부담 관리비용 또한 902원으로 약 40% 절감이 가능하다고 분석되었다. 각 시나리오별 초기 투자비용과 석유사용량, 이산화탄소 배출량을 비교한 결과, 초기 투자비용이 낮은 처리방식이 연료 사용량과 이산화탄소 발생량도 낮은 경향을 나타내었다. 초기 투자비용과 석유사용량, 이산화탄소 배출량이 가장 낮은 시나리오는 소규모분산처리방식이며 가장 높은 시나리오는 오수처리연계방식이었다. 연구의 공간적 범위를 공동주택 단지로 설정할 때 소규모분산처리방식이 음식물류폐기물 제로화 모델로서 가장 적합한 방식으로 판단된다.

세금 불확실성 하의 자산 가격 결정 (The Effect of Stochastic Taxes on Asset Prices)

  • This paper develops an equilibrium asset pricing model with taxation in the economy. The expected excess rate of return on a risky asset is shown to be an increasing function of the covariance of asset return with aggregate consumption rate changes and the covariance of asset return with the tax rates as well. Thus, the expected execss rate of return can be decomposed as the consumption risk premium and the tax premium. The capital asset pricing model derived in the absence of taxes is shown to understate the expected excess rate of return and to have a misspecification error in the economy with taxation.

우리나라 활어회의 소비결정 요인에 관한 연구 (A study on determinants of Sasimi Consumption in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify specific patterns of Sasimi consumption in Korea using cluster analysis. The data applied in the analysis were collected from five major cities in Korea through telephone interview with trained surveyors. This study investigated three major topics; 1. Korean people prefer to eat Sasimi at the restaurants rather than at-home. 2. The quality of Sasimi is different according to where the eating place is located such as seaside or inland. 3. Determinants of Sasimi Consumption are different according to population characteristics, sex or occupation. The main findings of the study can be summarized as following three points. Firstly, Koreans preferred to eat Sasimi out 83.3% of respondents chose eat-out rather than eat-at-home. These are especially popular with men, 40' years older, self-employed, lived in capital area. Secondly, satisfaction level of Sasimi consumption was good in Choong-Cheung province. Since Chung-Cheong Province was located in the inland, the chance to eat Sasimi is lower than seaside. Thirdly, consuming decision factor of Sashimi was different across groups. None of decision factors take effect on Group 1 while indigenous variable of Sashimi has effect on Group 2 and external variable has effect on Group 3. Therefore, in order to increase Sashimi consumption, it is necessary to at-home consumption of Sashimi should be improved. Moreover, it is necessary to develop marketing strategy which fits in regional characteristics and to have government assistance.

소셜 미디어 이용과 사회자본 -패션 인스타그램 및 유튜브를 중심으로- (Social Media Usage and Social Capital -Focused on Fashion Instagram and YouTube-)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the benefits of social capital obtained through the use of social media from the perspective of fashion. The study conducted in-depth interviews with 10 women in their 20s who utilized Instagram and YouTube for fashion-related activities. The results show that bonding social capital was related to Instagram and led increasingly to narrow and deep relationships with acquaintances who had already established offline relationships. The study also finds that informational benefit was derived from people who use Instagram image information for smart fashion consumption; in addition, positive feedback on their posts brought the emotional benefit of psychological satisfaction. On the other hand, bridge social capital developed from YouTube users and subscribers. The study discovers that YouTuber public communication or the exchange of opinions leads to an increase in bridge social capital, which is a wide and shallow relationship. Video-based YouTube brought informational benefits as a specific product description, and there were emotional benefits in terms of entertainment while watching videos that combined fashion and entertainment. This report sheds light on individual fashion activities on social media, which is discussed from the perspective of social capital.

횡단면 자료를 이용한 가구소비 결정요인에 관한 연구 - 유동성 제약과 가구별 특성을 중심으로 - (Exploration into the Determinants of Household Consumption: Liquidity Constraint and Family Characteristics)

  • 본 연구는 유동성제약과 가구별 특성을 고려한 가구소비함수의 추정을 목적으로 한다. 우리나라의 횡단면 자료인 "가구소비실태조사"를 이용하여 분석한 결과 가구원수, 가구 내 취업자 및 취학 아동수, 가구주의 교육수준 및 연령 등으로 표현되는 가구별 특성이 소비결정에 유의하게 작용함을 알 수 있다. 특히, 가구원수가 소비결정에 미치는 영향이 지대한 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 가구원수가 가구소득의 생애주기와 관련되어 있을 뿐 아니라 소비규모를 결정함에 있어서도 직접적인 영향을 미치기 때문인 것으로 보인다. 반면 가구원수 이외의 가구특성 변수들은 소비결정에 직접적으로 작용하기보다는 소득의 변화를 통해 간접적으로(하지만 여전히 유의하게) 소비에 영향을 미친다. 또한 본 연구에서는 유동성제약의 존재 유무를 판별하는 기존의 연구와는 달리 유동성제약의 강도를 파악하는 데 초점을 맞춤으로써 소비함수 추정식의 설명력을 획기적으로 높일 수 있었다. 유동성제약의 강도는 인적자본의 현재가치를 가구별 특성의 함수로 상정한 후 그 가치가 자본시장에서 과소평가되는 정도를 살펴봄으로써 측정된다. 이렇듯 유동성제약의 강도를 구분하는 추정방식은 현실에 존재하는 여러 형태의 자산들을 유동성을 기준으로 하여 세분할 수 있도록 도와준다. 끝으로 본 연구에서는 사용된 소비함수 추정식을 이용하여 외환위기 이후 우리나라 유동성제약의 완화 경향을 확인하고 이에 따른 소비불평등도의 감소를 횡단면 분산분해방식을 이용하여 같은 기간의 소득불평등도 증가 및 가구특성 변화 현상과 분리하여 논의한다.

사교육비 부담과 가계의 소비지출 (The Burden of Private Educational Expenditure and Consumption Expenditure)

  • Using the data from the Family Income & Expenditure Survey, this study investigated (1)the factors determining the level of burden of the private educational expenditure in households; (2) the influences of the level of the burden of private educational expenditure on the other household expenditures. For the analysis of data Chi-square, GLM, Multinomial legit, and Seemingly Unrelated Regression were applied. The major findings were: (1) The factors associated with the burden of private educational expenditure were the number of students by each of the school levels, housing tenure, location of residence, educational attainment of householder; (2) Households with the lower level of burden of the private educational expenditure adjusted the allocation of the expenditure shares of food, utility, and transportation and did not reduce the levels of consumption. Households with the higher level of burden of the private educational expenditure adjusted the extensive ranges of the household expenditure shares and reduced the levels of consumption.

복어요리에 관련한 수도권과 부산권의 인식조사 (The Survey on the Recognition of Puffer Fish Food Consumers in Seoul and Busan areas)

  • The aim of this study is to research on the recognitions and preferences of Puffer fish consumers with the recently increasing well-being trend. To carry out this research, the main analysis was focused on two specific points: how much consumers perceive swellfish and which kinds of Puffer fish foods are preferred by consumers. Although the consumption of Puffer fish is gradually expending, at the same time, there are also numerous obstructive elements in consuming swellfish. In this regard, this test on Puffer fish food will be able to contribute to show an outlook for the Puffer fish food market in the future and to promote consumption of Puffer fish as well. Methodologically, a statistical research was adopted to find out how people understand Puffer fish and the patterns of their choices and intensive examinations were conducted throughout the collected questionnaire. For a more effective outcome, it was necessary to divide into two groups, the Nation's capital area with Seoul as a center, the most densely populated area and Busan, the biggest marine products consumption area, examining the inclination to consume with regions. In the concrete, the detailed research survey on the Puffer fish were performed with the opinions of the five hundred people from capital area and the five hundred people from Busan area. The difference and common features of consumer's recognition about Puffer fish food were founded through cross analysis according to age, gender, regions, and income. In conclusion, this research showed the difference tastes and recognition standards toward Puffer fish among consumers from Seoul and Busan areas. If it is possible to apply this result to the efforts of improving supplier's understanding about Puffer fish consumers' features and cultivating new Puffer fish items, it could contribute to the further consumption of Puffer fish food in the long term point of view.
