Consumers experience various cognitive and emotional contents of clothing through postpurchase process. These experiences may affect consumer satisfaction as well as brand attitude toward clothing products. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of consumption experiences on the brand attitude toward clothing products. The research questions for accomplishing the purpose of this study were to investigate 1) the dimension of consumption experiences, 2) relationships among consumption experience, satisfaction and brand attitude toward clothing. The sample of this study was consisted of 431 females. The survey method, and factor analysis and regression were utilized for this study. The results were as follows; First, it was found out the consumption was composed of two dimensions such as cognitive and emotional experiences. According to the result of factor analysis, the cognitive experiences through consumption process were composed of 6 factors, that is, the suitability, fitness, utility/economy, sewing, deformation, and management. And emotional experiences were composed of 5 factors, that is, unpleasure, activeycomfort, inter-oriented pleasure, extra- oriented pleasure, tension. Also emotional experiences could be composed of two dimensions, that is, positive and negative emotion. The positive emotions were included pleasure and active/comfort. The negative emotions were included unpleasure and tension. Second, the result of path analysis showed that consumption experiences were related to satisfaction and brand attitude. A satisfaction influenced on brand attitude more strongly than others. And sewing, activejcomfort, extra-oriented pleasure out of cognitive and emotional experience factors affected to brand attitude directly. Satisfaction was also influenced by cognitive and emotional factors, and was the important mediator in forming brand attitude toward clothing through consumption experience. Above results imply that consumer experience multidimensional cognitive and emotional aspects of clothing through consumption process. The cognitive and emotional aspects consisting of consumption experiences, satisfaction, and brand attitude are interrelated causally. Therefore, experience related variables could be the antecedents of satisfaction and brand attitude. The satisfaction and positive emotion could be also important factors in brand attitude toward clothing.
This study is, to the special company with corporate brand, to investigate the effect of its reputation, credibility and the similarity of business area on consumer's attitude toward its clothing products. It is another topic of the study to reveal statistical significance in comsumer's attitude when naming new product with two different brand strategy. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, there was positive relationship between corporate reputation and consumer's attitude toward new brand and also between corporate credibility and consumer's that. Second, corporate credibility is proven to be grown in proportion to company's reputation. In other words, a corporate credibility is grown with a corporate reputation. Third, the influence of similarity or fitness of business area has a positive effect on a attitude toward new brand. The case of use the new brand name, the variable had low effect on attitude toward new brand, comparing to the case of use the existing brand name but seems to be statistically significant. Fourth, comparing to the inclination toward company's product based on brand name, strategy of supporting brand extension is more effective than that of new brand name on evaluating company's reputation, credibility and the similarity of business area. Fifth, the similarity of business area and the interaction of brand name on the basis of the strategy of use the existing brand name(;brand extension strategy) and new one have significant effect on the inclination to a brand. When participating a new business, it is more effective that a company is extending its business where the similarity of business area is growing. For the case of low similarity, the brand-new strategy is proven to be effective.
Study objectives are: 1) to investigate the difference in consumer perceptions of the model's image and physical attractiveness according to advertising model types; 2) to explore the effect of the difference between the model's image and the consumer's self image, the difference between the model's image and the brand's image, and the physical attractiveness of the model on attitude toward the advertising model; and 3) to explore the effect of attitude toward the advertising model on attitude toward the advertisement. A total of 306 female consumers over the age of 45 participated in experiments with advertisement stimuli for a senior apparel brand. Results showed a significant difference in the model's images and physical attractiveness according to each model type. The consumer's attitude toward the advertising model was determined by physical attractiveness of the model, not by the difference between model's image and the consumers' self-image, nor by the difference between the model's image and brand image. Attitude toward advertisements was determined by attitude toward the advertising model. The findings imply that advertising models of a senior apparel brand can be selected based on the physical attractiveness of the model. Consumers do not consider whether the model's image fits well with their self-images or the brand's image when building an attitude toward the advertising model, and this precedes the consumer's attitude toward the advertisement. These results can be used as guidelines to select appropriate models for advertisements of senior apparel brands.
In the era of Web 2.0, social media advertising can simultaneously stimulate consumers' brand purchase intention and brand information sharing intention. Product sales and brand information diffusion are equally important for a company that conducts advertising. This study investigates how features of brand content influence social media advertising effectiveness by integrating the stimulus-organism-response model and classic advertising effectiveness models. An analysis of 267 survey questionnaires shows that brand content-related cues, including perceived uniqueness, perceived vividness, and perceived interactivity have significant effects on consumers' affective and cognitive involvement, which then affect their attitude toward brand content. As a result, the consumers' attitude toward the brand and their brand purchase intention, as well as their brand content sharing intention, are positively affected by attitude toward brand content. This study contributes to a better understanding of how social advertising works, which suggests that managers should effectively use social media to conduct advertising.

Data were collected from women living in Seoul in ages from 18 to 39 with purchasing experience at Korean SPA brands. A total of 554 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis including factor analysis and structure equation analysis. The results were as follows: For store attributes, 8 factors were extracted: product assortment, fashionability, price, quality, store environment, service, convenience in location and advertisement. Two factors, brand awareness, brand image were extracted for brand equity, and brand attitude was derived as a single dimension. Product-related store attributes such as product assortment, price, quality have positive effects on brand awareness, brand image and brand attitude. Other attribute such as store environment has positive effect on brand awareness and brand image, Attribute such as advertisement has positive effect on brand awareness and service, convenience in location have positive effect on brand attitude. Moreover, brand image and brand awareness have positive effect on brand attitude. These results indicate the product-related attributes are important factors to consider for improving brand equity and brand attitude for Korean SPA brands.

The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effect of attitude toward green brand on green brand positioning and repurchase intention of environmentally friendly products, product knowledge on attitude toward green brand and the effect of green product knowledge on green repurchase intention. This study uses a structural equation approach with a sample size of 175 and uses an eight-point Likert scale. The data collection technique used purposive sampling. The criteria for respondents are to use environmentally friendly cosmetic products and the respondents live in Central Java and have consumed more than two times. Online sampling using google form. Data were analyzed using statistical software AMOS 22. The results showed that green brand positioning has a significant effect on repurchase intention. Attitude toward green brand has a positive effect in mediating the relationship between green brand positioning and repurchase intention. Similarly, green brand knowledge has a positive effect on attitudes, although green knowledge has no positive effect on repurchase intention. Product positioning in the minds of consumers is important in shaping attitudes. It is important for companies to continue to develop environmentally friendly products so that product positioning can be distinguished from competitors' products.
The purpose of this study was to investigate brand slognas that are effective in explaining how brand identity affects consumers. The effect of congruity between brand slogan and self-image (low and high) on attitude to slogans and brands were anaylzed. The moderating effect of self-monitoring (low and high) was also investigated. Survey data from 177 people in their 20s-30s were analyzed through descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, and two-way ANOVA. First, congruity between slogan and self-image had a positive effect on both slogan and brand attitude. In other words, the higher the congruity between slogan and self-image, the more positive the attitude toward the slogan and brand. Second, no interactive effect was found in congruity between slogan and self-image and self-monitoring on slogan attitude; however it was identified for brand attitude. Again, in a group with high congruity between slogan and self-image, attitude toward the brand was more positive when self-monitoring was higher than when it was low. In conclusion, brand slogans that can represent the self-image of highly self-monitoring consumers are effective. In particular, this is meaningful as it has revealed its relationship with the impact of identity self-image congruity and self-monitoring on brand attitudes in fashion brands. These results offer meaningful guidance in determining brand slogans according to consumers' personal characteristics.
The study is to find the relationship between brand concept consistency and the consumer attitude toward the extended brand and the moderating roles of knowledge, involvement and typicality on their relationships in the food-service industry. In the severely competitive market, brand extension strategy has become a key strategy to the companies that are trying to expand in the new market and to cut down the marketing cost. First , the similarity which is measured by consistency of brand concept has a positive effect on the consumer attitude toward the extended brand. Second, the knowledge on the original brand has moderating effect on the relationship between consistency of brand concept and the consumer attitude toward the extended brand. More knowledge brings on more favorable attitudes.
This study analyzed the structural correlation between parent brand attitude, including attitude toward the advertisement, attitude toward the store and brand attitude, and brand extension evaluation, relationships among which are conceived as a brand extension evaluation process. The result of analysis, revealed statistical significances of the differences in the effect levels between attitude toward store and brand attitude, between brand attitude and brand extension evaluation level, and between brand extension evaluation level and purchase intention of an extended product depending on the choice of distribution channel type. Therefore the evaluation level of brand extension should be analyzed by structural relationship model based on the consumer behavior's viewpoint with distribution channel type and it can provide the important information for restructuring distribution channel and increase the level of the successful brand extension.
Purpose: Brand hearsay refers to information that can be acquired from advertisement, media publicity, and word-of-mouth prior to experiencing products or services of brands. Previous information about brands obtained through brand hearsay affects consumer behavior in choosing brands. Moreover, brand hearsay is an effective communication method in promoting brands to consumers. Thus, bakery franchises need to improve strengths and differentiate characteristics of their brand, thereby attracting more consumers. Therefore, this study investigates relationships the effect of brand hearsay on consumers' brand attitude and brand loyalty in the context of franchised bakery brands. Research design, data, and methodology: A research model was proposed to examine structural relationships between brand hearsay (advertising, publicity, word-of-mouth), brand attitude, and brand loyalty. An online survey was conducted to consumers who had an experience of visiting a franchise bakery. A total of 513 responses were used for data analysis. SPSS 22.0 was used for analyzing general demographics, and SmartPLS 4.0 was used to test validity and reliability of the proposed model. Result: Among attributes of brand hearsay, advertisement and word-of-mouth had positively significant effects on brand attitude, but no significant effect was found between publicity and attitude. Advertisement had a positively significant impact on brand loyalty, while publicity had a negative effect on brand loyalty opposite to hypothesis. Moreover, brand attitude had a statistically significant effect on brand loyalty. Conclusions: In the context of franchise bakeries, brand hearsay contents may change consumers' attitude toward brands but does not increase brand loyalty. Though media publicity does not affect consumers' attitude toward brands, it may decrease brand loyalty when consumers are too exposed to it. In addition, it is necessary to enhance brand attitude to increase brand loyalty of customers. This study provides bakery franchisors and franchisees information about which type of brand hearsay (e.g., advertisement, word-of-mouth, media, publicity) is effective in enhancing brand attitudes and loyalty of consumers. Further studies may include other variables (e.g., trust) in addition to attitude and loyalty, or compare findings based on brand characteristics (e.g., low-to-medium/high prices, store size).
