This study aims to provide basic materials for adaptive-clothing development for disabled seniors by considering the characteristics of design with both functionality and beauty, which is displayed to overseas functional clothing for disabled seniors. After 341 photographs from 15 overseas websites which sold adaptive-clothing for disabled seniors were collected, their designs were analyzed. The content analysis and frequency analysis using the descriptive statistics were performed as the analytical methods for this study. The results are as follows; first, the design of buttons uses snap fasteners, zippers, Velcro fasteners and rubber bands so as to attach easily and keep fasteners unseen. Second, the used open system is the Back open, the Side open, the Front open and the Hip open. Third, in terms of design, the change follows easy and loose silhouette in order to act comfortably outdoors as well as indoors by making the design of onepiece dresses, jackets and cardigans similar to ordinaries. From the details aspect, a few trimmings such as color, patterns, ruffles around edge, laces and smooth shirring do not stand in the way and give mental please.

Purpose: Building owners or residents have concerns to strive for energy-saving and environmental conservation by utilizing with eco-friendlier energy resources for their physical environment. In this paper, an algae façade system is proposed as an energy-friendly building component to improve energy productivity and indoor environmental quality, and this study aims at verifying alternative technologies for implementing building elevations that contain various colors equipped with algae façade systems and suggesting design guidelines to enhance both building performance and design values. Method: The color of algae is basically ranged about the saturation green, and it is hardly converted to other variations. Such a problem can be resolved through the artificial lights like LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamps to mix the color from the algae and buildings could possibly change the elevation in many ways under the influence of daylight. Result: As a result, the suggested system may increase the aesthetic aspect of the building in response to environmental changes. The system cannot possibly be applied for only new construction, but also it can be utilized with the existing buildings as well. The proposed system is expected to be applied not only a new construction and any existing buildings as well, and it will cover from the environmentally friendly energy generation in the industry to a new application system for increasing energy efficiency and the beauty of building envelopes.

With increasing interest in sustainability, several fashion and beauty brands have developed and offered unique types of sustainable packaging in their stores (e.g., 'knot-wrap,' 'seaweed-based' packaging). The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceived value (i.e., green, aesthetic, functional, emotional, social, self-expression) of unique types of sustainable packaging and its impact on consumers' packaging evaluation, store evaluation, and store patronage intentions in the context of a fashion retail store. This study also assessed the moderating effects of consumer innovativeness and environmental concern. Data were collected from 210 US consumers aged 18 to 26 years through Amazon MTurk. The results of structural equation modeling revealed that green, emotional, self-expression, functional, and aesthetic values perceived from unique types of sustainable packaging had significant positive impacts on packaging evaluation. Packaging evaluation, in turn, positively impacted store evaluation, subsequently influencing store patronage intentions. Consumer innovativeness and environmental concern moderated several paths between the variables. This study adds to the existing literature on sustainable packaging by investigating consumer responses to sustainable packaging that incorporates the 'uniqueness' aspect. Managerial implications regarding the importance of developing and offering unique types of sustainable packaging for fashion brands in their retail stores are discussed.

This study aims on observing the social recognition and its aspects for men taking care of their outer appearances at current point where men are rapidly rising as the main consumer in the beauty industry while their interest for outer appearances are increasing. Therefore, we observed the overall trend and changes in social recognition for male looks by analyzing the contents of articles in fashion magazines that play the critical role of spreading the trend while suggesting and delivering the diverse trend changes to the public to correspond to the individual and concrete demands of certain class segmented into gender, age, hobby, and more. As a result, articles related to outer appearances were divided into fashion, cosmetic and skin, hair and scalp, body figure care, cosmetic surgery, and others, and among them, fashion category took up the highest ratio. Also, articles related to outer appearances increased even more according to the change in time, where articles related to fashion and hair increased while articles of other categories decreased.

To prevent safety accidents such as injury or death from falling by blocking platforms from trains, the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Corp. have gradually installed screen doors in platforms of 115 subway stations in Seoul on lines 1, 2, 3, and 4. Installation in nine areas among those has been completed and screen doors are being operated as a model operation. Traffic signs should be clear for users. The essential functions of signs should be fully investigated from the aspect of user as well as the visual beauty and recognition. Signs should be able to provide users with information regarding location, position, directions, etc. Particularly, safety and convenient signs should be visually and sensually correlated. However, the entire screen doors in platforms installed in line 2 subway in Seoul are used for commercial advertisement, consequently, the functions and roles as public signs are not fulfilled aggravating inconvenience for users. In this study, cases have been studied to investigate requirements for user-oriented sign system in platform and public sign space to fulfill the functions of sign system in platform. Using an anthropometry approach, the study aimed to obtain the space to install the sign system and to systemize necessary and sufficient conditions for user-oriented system for platform in which screen doors have been installed using. The study suggests fundamental information to obtain the space of public sign system on the entire screen door.

Medical equipment of high frequency has been presently applied to various parts of human body and novel treatment effects have been shown by it. Recently there are many cases that high frequency apparatus has been used in dermatology as the interest in beauty has been growing. Especially used in skin, blood volume is increased by keeping surface temperature of skin at around $43^{\circ}C$ and domodex folliculorum are treated by applying high electric field. It is the aspect we consider that increasing blood volume and domodex folliculorum treatment take effect on hair loss. In this study, high frequency electrotherapy apparatus was proposed to be applied to hair loss treatment. For that, human body was experimented with varying output voltage and frequency. The adjustable switching signal for treatment was obtained from 100[kHz] to 1000[kHz] by using DSP. Stable output specific was also obtained by feedback control to protect human body. The best hair growth conditions were the output voltage of 1.2[kV], the frequency of near 300[kHz] and the maximum current of 2[mA]. We apply this high frequency electrotherapy apparatus to two bald men, 46-year-old and 45-year-old. After treatment for a month they had thick and strong hair.

As a mirror of its time, fashion exactly reflects the trend of today' s society. In addition, as a tool to satisfy our desire and express images, it brings diverse image changes in people's minds. This kind of pattern is frequently found in wedding images, especially in wedding dresses. When it comes to a wedding dress, in general, we often think of a modest and pure-white one. In modem times, however, people prefer a differentiated image which reflects their personality and ego. In other words, it is an important means of expressing their own personality by focusing on their active and personal aspects and getting away from the passive, stable and formative aspects in the past. These days, a combination of narcissism and eroticism is found on wedding dresses. This kind of trend has been expressed into romanticism. In terms of the latest sensitive wedding dress trend, unique and creative couture wedding dresses have appeared. Therefore, this study has classified this kind of trend into two categories; Formative and Design aspects. According to an analysis on the formative and design aspects of romanticism in wedding dresses, diverse characteristics were observed in shape, color, material and ornament in the Formative Aspect. In terms of design, the characteristics of sensuality, ornament, exoticism and compromise were observed.

Animation has been developed as a part of artistry, and maintained a correlation with other various genres such as art, film and music to bring changes in form and to seek new things. Recently, technological advancement also has supported digitalization of producing process with variety in its method. Basic unit of animation production is a frame. A set of frames which has an image of producer's intention comes to life as animation when constructed, connected and transformed. A producer usually goes through a series of trouble when deciding how to express one's intention in images. Framing in animation is a kind of visual information which reflects producer's visual perception. A producer does not simply characterize matters into geometrical figures or give circumstantial explanation, but does framing work that relies on expression. Artistic psychology based on Gestalt Theory does not concentrate on abstract artistic philosophy with conventional beauty as its center, but pursues ambiguity and coherence of formative arts to support on accepting systematic order. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find theoretical assistance which may be fundamental part in framing of animation. First, ten elements of Rudolf Arnheim centering on Gestalt Theory shall be redefined as concepts. Based on its ground, I will attempt to analyze shape-quality of framing of conventional animation, and make an approach with my personal experimental project. From this research project, I intend to analogize systematic aspect of framing in animation and to make framing of animation possible to assist in actual production of animation.

팔경시 '경주십이영'을 통해 서거정은 고도 경주의 폐허화된 역사문화경관에 대한 감회를 적나라하게 표현하고 있다. '경주십이영'은 신라문화의 대표적 성지인 계림, 반월성, 나정, 오릉 그리고 장소성 깊은 승경인 금오산(남산), 포석정, 문천, 첨성대, 분황사, 영묘사, 김유신묘 등을 중심으로 거기에 깃든 신화와 설화는 물론 관련된 사건과 인물을 회고하는 방식으로 이루어져 기존 '팔경'과는 다른 폐허미학적 메타포가 강하게 전달되고 있다. '경주십이영'은 서거정의 팔경시 뿐만 아니라 그 이전의 팔경시와 비교할 때, 제영 구조와 형식은 물론 내용에 있어서도 차이를 보이는데, 특히 의미와 행위를 부각시킨 인문적 특성이 강하게 나타난다. '경주십이영'의 제영 순서를 추적할 때 2일 이상의 유람시간을 통해 2개 이상의 시각회랑으로 이루어진 것으로 보이며, 봄철에 지어진 시임에도 불구하고 시 속에는 '자연의 아름다움과 생활의 풍류' 그리고 '번성과 풍요'는 배제되고 대부분 오래 되고, 부서져 허물어지고, 늙고, 슬프고 등의 아쉬움과 슬픔의 정조가 지배적이다. 서거정은 '경주십이영'을 통해 경주의 다양한 경승과 경물 등 가시 영역의 문명적 폐허 뿐만 아니라 신화와 전설 등 비가시 영역의 문화적 폐허를 반복, 병렬, 병치 그리고 대조의 수사학적 표현으로 회고와 영탄의 폐허미를 읊고 있다. 이는 서거정이 '경주'를 바라보는 사유방식이자 표현방식이며 기존 회고시의 전형적 특성으로 서거정이 '경주십이영'을 통해 표현하고자 한 폐허 경험은 무엇보다도 그것이 전하는 아우라, 즉 12가지 역사문화경관에 담긴 총체적 신라문화에 편재한 질에 대한 정성적 경험이었다는데 그 특징이 읽혀진다. 기문 등을 근거로 '고도 경주'에 대한 서거정의 긍정적 인식에도 불구하고 '경주십이영'에 담긴 신라와 경주의 이미지는 폐허로 점철되고 있다. 그러나 폐허가 소멸과 몰락의 길을 가리키는 비관주의적 개념임에도 불구하고, 그 폐허의 양상은 조선 전기의 문풍을 좌우했던 인물로서 조선 왕조를 통해 경주를 다시 상승 부흥시키고자 하는 의지를 포괄하는 양가적인 것으로 보인다. 그러므로 서거정의 '경주십이영'에서 발견되는 풍경의 미학은 가장 은유적이면서도 문화적 상징성이 강한 것으로 폐허성을 반성적 경험의 가치로 전환하기 위한 역설적 폐허미학의 소통방식으로 전개되고 있다.
