현대 니트 패션에 나타난 과장성 (Exaggeration Shown in Contemporary Knit Fashion)

  • This research aims to explicate how we reveal our identity and emphasize beauty in our passion for beauty. It also attempts to find out our sense of beauty in exaggeration of visual expressions. The purpose is to represent how the contemporary knit fashion is various and exaggerated in our modern fashion world, and also to give the direction of new knitwear designs through the visual analysis of exaggerated knit fashion. Literature research was done by studying reference books and magazines, leading papers and based on a dissertation thesis. This study collected 787 designer's works published in the world's big Four collections from the 2000 S/S to 2011 S/S, in 23 seasons during 12 years. In answer to 9 experts about the criteria of classification, 520 works were chosen and analyzed according to the standard of exaggerated knitwear. The result of the study is the followings: The type of exaggeration shown in contemporary knit fashion was classified in three categories; Enlarge exaggeration, reduce exaggeration and transform exaggeration. As a sub-category, enlarge exaggeration was classified into three categories; Volume expansion and the expansion by the material, gauge and larger composition application expansion. Reduce exaggeration appeared as mini-reduction, skinny-reduction and transform exaggeration was respectively classified into deformation of the shape and patterns. The characteristics of exaggeration shown in contemporary knit fashion appeared as the new formative sense. In terms of fuller sense and surface, using various materials, gauge, changes in the composition represented challenges for textiles. The exaggerated contemporary knitwear expressed sex appeal using tight-fitting effect. Contemporary knit fashion simplified the design by taking advantage of the strong elastic attributes. It showed the beauty of women, expressed variability and limitless knit characteristics beyond the conventional thinking. In addition, it has been well represented as a form of freedom, amusement and diversity.

  • During the Geum and Won dynasties, the documentary characteristics of "Chimgyeongjinam","Chimguokryonggyeong" can be summarized into the following. 1. "Chimgyeongjinam" 1) "Chimgyeongjinam" is an acupuncture and moxibustion anthology by the acupuncture expert of the Geum and Won dynasties, Duhangyeong(竇漢卿) which was edited and revised by Dugyebang and is a kind of "Chimgusaseo(鍼灸四書)" that was printed in the Huanggyeong Imja year of the Won dynasty(1312). 2. This book was printed as a kind of "Chimgusaseo" and the origins of the editions are as such. The entire text of "Chimgusaseo" originates from the Won edition[元刊本] of "Chimgyeongjinam". 3. This book has all the 12 acupuncture and moxibustion dissertations by Du. 4. Most of the contents of Du's works in this book are collections from older medical books like "Jaoyujuchimgyeong(子午流注鍼經)","Donginsuhyeolchimgudogyeong(銅人腧穴鍼灸圖經)","Yujupalhyeol(流注八穴)","Naegyeong(內經)". 5. Duhangyeong's works on acupuncture and moxibustion were mostly collected by later generations and reflected in books on Du's acupuncture methods. dynasty. 2. "Chimguokryonggyeong" 1) The full title of "Chimguokryonggyeong" is "Pyeonjaksineungchimguokryonggyeong(扁鵲神應鍼灸玉龍經)" and it was edited by Wanggukseo(王國瑞) in the Won dynasty. 2) This book was written before 1290 and there is the '"Munyeongaksagojeonseo(文淵閣四庫全書)" edition' which was pretty much spread around much. 3) The main part of this book is the 'Okryongga(玉龍歌)' and it's annotations. 4) The main contents of this book is a record of the acupuncture techniques of the acupuncture master of the Won dynasty, Duhangyeong.

FACTOR ANALYSIS ON CONTRACTOR COMPETITION STRATEGY: A HONG KONG STUDY

  • The development of construction industry has led to the increase in the number of criteria imposed by project clients for selecting contractors. For example, clients often request tenderers to satisfy various conditions such as tight programme, financial strength, managerial ability, relevant work experiences, technical strength, high workmanship standard, safety requirement, quality specification, and yet others. This trend has attracted research interests of devising various methods for helping project clients to assess contractors' bids. For example, in recent development, the Works Bureau of the Hong Kong Government has introduced two mechanisms in tender evaluation for various public work contracts, namely, the Marking Scheme effective from June 2002 and the Formula Approach effective from November 2002 [1], [2]. These approaches evaluate a contractor's tender by considering collectively its tender price and performance attributes, the latter including contractor experience, past performance, technical resources and technical content of his proposal. The tender with the highest combined price and performance score (CPPS) will be normally recommended for acceptance. It appears, however, that there is little existing research in helping contractors to identify a competition strategy that enables the contractor to offer his most competitive bid collectively taking into account his resource capacities and project client's multiple performance criteria. This paper examines the factors affecting contractor's competition strategy to compete for works in Hong Kong. The understanding about the factors will contribute to identifying effective competition strategy. The data used for the analysis were collected from Hong Kong construction industry. The research findings may provide valuable references for investigating effective competition strategies in other construction industries outside the region.

An optical fibre monitoring system for evaluating the performance of a soil nailed slope

  • Conventional geotechnical instrumentation techniques available for monitoring of slopes, especially soil-nailed slopes have limitations such as electromagnetic interference, low accuracy, poor longterm reliability and difficulty in mounting a series of strain sensors on a soil nail bar with a small-diameter. This paper presents a slope monitoring system based on fibre Bragg grating (FBG) sensing technology. This monitoring system is designed to perform long-term monitoring of slope movements, strains along soil nails, and other slope reinforcement elements. All these FBG sensors are fabricated and calibrated in laboratory and a trial of this monitoring system has been successfully conducted on a roadside slope in Hong Kong. As part of the slope stability improvement works, soil nails and a toe support soldier-pile wall were constructed. During the slope works, more than 100 FBG sensors were installed on a soil nail, a soldier pile, and an in- place inclinometer. The paper presents the layout and arrangement of the instruments as well as the installation procedures adopted. Monitoring data have been collected since March 2008. This trial has demonstrated the great potential of the optical fibre monitoring system for long-term monitoring of slope performance. The advantages of the slope monitoring system and experience gained in the field implementation are also discussed in the paper.

포도재배 농업인의 근골격계 증상 관련 인간공학적 위험요인 (Ergonomic risk factors related to musculoskeletal symptoms in the vineyard workers)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the basic materials of a developmental counterplan by assessing prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms and characteristics of work-related ergonomic risk factors. The prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms of 64 vineyard workers was investigated by using a self-reported questionnaire. And the vineyard workers' tasks were also collected and analyzed during 9-month period by observing and videotaping methods to identify the ergonomic risk factors. The prevalence rate of musculoskeletal symptoms of female(84.4%) was much higher than that of male(62.5%) and a total prevalence rate was 73.4%. There was no different prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms between age over 60 years and under 60 years. The prevalence rates of musculoskeletal complaints for each body part were 48.4%, 42.2%, and 35.9% for the wrist, legs/knee, and shoulder, respectively. In postural risk analysis, 7 works(REBA score) represented the high risk tasks such as delivering harvest boxed(12), picking cluster(11) and so on. The main works(exposure score) were orderly ranked as picking cluster(1590), pruning branch(388), and cluster thinning(327). The risk factors of vineyard work were identified as follows: shoulder flexion(${\geq}45^{\circ}$), wrist Flex./Ext.(${\geq}15^{\circ}$), hand force(power/pinch-grip), and prolonged standing(${\geq}4hr$). The engineering solutions including an improvement of hand tools, working process, and working environment should be applied to the high risky tasks in order to resolve the ergonomic problems. The administrative solutions such as improving a distribution of resting time, an exercise cure, an early recognition of symptoms and rehabilitation might be another solution for reducing musculoskeletal symptoms in vineyard workers.

Some Trends of Marine Engineering and Shipbuilding in Asia (reliability investigation works and their evaluation indices)

  • In Asia countries the productions of ship building and marine engines have been increasing, specially Japanese marine industries have worked hard after 1960s and Korean ones after 1980s. Recently the other countries, as Taiwan and China, have been working so that these hour Asian countries are occuping the high level of shared ratio of productions for gross tonnages and horse powers, which are 74 and 64[%] of the world ones ($8.6\times10$+6[GT], $8.6\times10$+6[PS]) in 1994. Korean industries had the highest shared ratio of production of tanker vessel and 2 stroke diesel engine as 45[%]($2.2\times10$+6[GT]) and 37[%]($1.0\times10$+6[PS]) which were more than those of Japan as 34 and 16[%] in 1989 respectively. Some marine databases and their network links among Asian countries are proposed due to the posibility of collection and analyses with their own specifications by the marine industries and operators as well as Japanese ship reliability investigation works(SRIW) like SRIC in Japan. During 1966 and 1996 16 times of SRIW in Japan have been carried out by ship reliability investigation group(SRIG) in Japan. There have been collected and evaluated a great number of field data of failures and maintenances($700\times10$+3[occ], $1.6\times10$+6[MH}) during running hours($13.4\times10$+6[Hrs]), from which many kinds of evaluation indices could be gotten as the three indices of occurring rate$\lambda$(52.2[occ/1000Hrs]), average man-hour mh(2.29[MH/occ]) and manning index MI(119[MH/1000Hrs]). An estimation example having the three indices$\lambda$, mh and MI were shown by the SRIC 1990 Data Base in Japan for the two kinds of fuel oil suppling subsystems which are dual fuel oil one(DFOS) and mono fuel oil one(MFOS). Three indices MI, and mh for DFOS and MFOS results in 7.16 and 5.20[MH/1000Hrs], 2.63 and 2.06[occ/1000 Hrs]. Therefore the more simple subsystem MFOS can save approximately 30[%] of maintenance load. Finlly an utilization methods are shown for the SRIC in Japan by means of computer system and worlwide internet links.

지역사회 고혈압·당뇨병 예방관리 인력의 건강증진 핵심역량 교육요구도 (Educational Needs for Health Promotion Core Competencies among Personnels of Hypertension and Diabetes Control in Community)

  • Objectives: This study was for analysis the educational needs of personnels who works for hypertension and diabetes centers in community in order to serve as the basis for the development of the future educational programs. Methods: To analyze the educational needs of personnels who wokrs for hypertension and diabetes centers in community, a survey based on CompHP core competencies framework for health promotion was conducted in September 2016. 102 personnels were answered to the online questionnaires and collected data were analyzed through SPSS. Results: The highest point of educational needs was 'how to use verbal and non-verbal effective communication skills' among 46 core competencies for health promotion and 'self-management practical skills for hypertension and diabetes patients'. There were some differences of educational needs between leaders and general staff members of centers. Most wanted educational subjects of leaders are 'contribute to the development and dissemination of health promotion evaluation and research process', and 'use evaluation findings to refine and improve health promotion action'. On the other hand, most general staff members of centers wanted 'use effective communication skills including written, verbal, non-verbal, and listening skills' and 'facilitate the development of personal skills that will maintain and improve health. Conclusions: Evidence-based and long-term educational programs should be developed for personnels who works for hypertension and diabetes centers in community.

원자력발전소 건설현장의 철근콘크리트 공종 생산성 및 영향요인 분석 (Reinforced-Concrete Works Productivity and Influence Factor Analysis on Nuclear-Power-Plant Project)

  • 특수 플랜트 건설은 타 건설사업보다 체계적인 원가 및 공정관리가 요구되지만 이를 위하 반드시 필요한 현장 생산성을 구체적으로 분석한 연구는 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내에서 건설중인 특수 플랜트 현장의 철근콘크리트공종을 형틀, 철근, 콘크리트로 나누어 생산성을 측정하고 생산성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 생산성 측정결과 형틀공종 $0.54(m^2/man{\cdot}time)$, 철근공종 $0.06(ton/man{\cdot}day)$, 콘크리트공종 $1.98(m^3/man{\cdot}time)$로 나타났다. 영향요인으로는 형틀공종은 요일과 야간적업 유무, 철근공종은 야간잡업 유무, 콘크리트공종은 야간작업 유무와 콘크리트 물량이 통계적으로 유의게 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

스마트폰 고중독 대학생과 비중독 대학생의 중독증후군 차이 (The Differences in Smartphone Addiction Symptom between Highly Addicted and Non-addicted College Students)

  • Purpose: This survey was to investigate the differences in smartphone addiction symptoms by the level of addiction among college students in S. Korea. Methods: Two hundred and thirteen university students survey data was collected from December 5th to 9th of 2011 using Smartphone Addiction Scale. 25.3% (n=54) of total respondents were categorized as highly addicted and 28.17% (n=60) were as non-addicted group. Results: There were significant differences in total addiction symptom scores, daily life disorders, loss of self control, pathological concentration, and compulsive symptoms between two groups. There were significantly differences in total addiction symptoms, daily life disorders, loss of self control, pathological concentration, and compulsive symptoms between two groups. Highly addicted group were significantly higher in total addiction symptom scores (3.26 times), daily life disorders (4.96 times), loss of self control (3.07 times), pathological concentration (3.07 times), and compulsive symptoms (2.86 times) compared to non-addicted one. Highly addicted group had significantly higher daily usages of smartphone and were more satisfied with smartphone than non-addicted group. The purpose to use was related to academic works rather than games or entertainment. However satisfaction on academic achievement was very low. Conclusion: The smartphone addicted symptoms related to academic works were significantly high in highly addicted college students so that it disturbed their daily life and psycho-social health in general. It is clear that the highly addicted college students need urgent distinctive interventions such as creative academic guides.

독성가스시설의 인적오류 수행영향인자에 관한 연구 (A Study on Performance Shaping Factors of Human Error in Toxic Gas Facilities)

  • 독성가스시설에서 대형사고로 인한 손실을 감소시키기 위해서는 인적요소를 제어하고, 평가하는 것이 필요하다. 기존의 안전성 평가는 기계적 결함이나 시스템의 위험이 주로 강조되어 왔으며, 인적오류를 관리하는 평가방법이 부족하여 본 연구에서는 독성가스시설의 사고관리 상황에서 인적오류를 구성하는 수행영향인자 분류체계를 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 주요 수행영향인자 분류체계의 유형을 수집하여 검토와 분석을 한 후 4가지(작업자 특성, 시스템, 직무특성 및 직무환경)로 나누고, 독성가스시설의 상황적 특성과 직무특성 및 작업환경을 고려하여 수행영향인자를 선택하였다. 이로 부터 인적오류의 평가에 사용하기 적절한 수행영향인자 체계를 구축하고, 구축한 수행영향인자 분류체계를 독성가스시설에서 발생하였던 사고 사례분석을 통해 적용성을 검토하였다.
