The present situation of CWE(Computational Wind Engineering) and the papers presented to the CWE 2000 Symposium are reviewed from the following viewpoints; 1) topics treated, 2) utilization of commercial code (software), 3) incompleteness of CWE, 4) remaining research subjects, 5) prediction accuracy, 6) new fields of CWE application, etc. Firstly, new tendencies within CWE applications are indicated. Next, the over-attention being given to the application field and the lack of attention to fundamental problems, including prediction error analysis, are pointed out. Lastly, the future trends of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) applications to wind engineering design are discussed.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the present condition and business convergence of TV home shopping markets. This study is focused on the current situation and promotion plans of TV home shopping markets to make it better. This thesis shows the distribution characteristic and circumstances of korean distribution market and share of market. Using analysis data, the conclusion of thesis is that TV home shopping company will increase their business sector by appling T-commerce under the Ubiqutious era.

In this paper, we analyze the concept of network convergence and characteristics of Broadband convergence Network(BcN) from the service perspective where convergence would appear. We suggest the evolutionary 3 stage steps of BcN as an ideal network strategy when considering present network situation. We also propose the features of several representative services that are expected to emerge out of network convergence.

Comparing the rate of accident in 1999 with 1998, that has been increased about 0.06%. The 56 percentage of industrial accident had been occurred by new employer, who has been worked less than 1 year, in 1999, therefore safety training and education is required for those new employer. This study is present the analysis and investigation of safety training and educational situation and consider a counterplan.

SDIAS (Single Doppler Image Analysis System), which can estimate the vertical wind profiles from single Doppler color displays, is developed here. Various single Doppler velocity signatures are simulated using horizontally uniform wind fields that vary with height. This system is very simple and efficient for interpreting the color displays. So, SDIAS can be used to get some useful informations on wind for understanding the present weather situation and forecast.

There is a growing demand for public kindergartens due to the problem of private kindergartens. However, when the kindergarten is built in the residential land development area, the cost of purchasing the land increases, and the overall project cost is increasing. This situation puts a lot of burden on educational finances. Therefore, to reduce the cost of establishing a kindergarten, it is required to revise related laws including act on the special cases concerning the procurement, etc. of school sites. The purpose of this study is to propose the revised laws to expand public kindergartens. In this study, the present situation of infants and kindergartens was analyzed through policy data and statistics. And the analysis of the investment evaluation data also analyzed the problems in establishing kindergarten. In addition, we conducted surveys and FGI analyzes on school sites and kindergarten related laws and regulations. Finally, this study aims to find a way to amend related acts of urban and architectural Planning for Invigoration of Public kindergarten establishment by analysis data.

At present, the Cournot model is one of the most commonly used theories to analyze the gaming situation in an oligopoly type market. However, several problems exist in the successful application of this model to the electricity market. The representative one is obtaining the inverse demand curve able to be induced from the relationship between market price and demand response. In the Cournot model, each player offers their generation quantity to obtain maximum profit, which is accomplished by reducing their quantity compared with available total capacity. As stated above, to obtain the probable Cournot equilibrium to reflect the real market situation, we have to induce the correct demand function first of all. Usually the correlation between price and demand appears over the long-term through statistical data analysis (for example, regression analysis) or by investigating consumer utility functions of several consumer groups classified as residential, industrial, and commercial. However, the elasticity has a tendency to change continuously according to the total market demand size or the level of market price. Therefore it should be updated as the trading period passes by. In this paper we propose a method for inducing and updating this price elasticity of demand function for more realistic market equilibrium.

To determine a proper ASIL for each hazardous event with a proper safety goal, the right classes should first be determined for the three properties of the hazardous event; (i) severity of harm from the resultant accident, (ii) exposure to the relevant operational situation, and (iii) controllability to avoid the induced risks. ASIL can be clearly determined with right classes of these three properties. But no specific methodologies or processes for their classification can be found in ISO 26262, except only a rough guideline with a simplified set of illustrative tables. In this paper, we try to present a systematic model for classifying the three properties of the hazardous event and suggest a refined procedure of ASIL determination. The proposed model provides a specific method to get a more objective ASIL compared with that in the standard. Scrutinizing the current methodology, we develop a refined method and also provide an illustrative example.
